This Earth Is A Bit Fearsome

Chapter 181 - Dragon Soul, The Celestials

Chapter 181: Dragon Soul, The Celestials

That Japanese fighter gripped his katana tightly and glowered at Lu Xuan, feeling an immense sense of threat from the latter.

If what that Japanese fighter felt had been little more than just a feeling before, then what Lu Xuan just pulled made it clear to the Japanese fighter that he was indeed as overbearing as his aura suggested.

That Japanese fighter did not stop where he was, cranking up his powers arduously through his own secret arts instead. He had no time to waste, and every single second he had was immensely precious.

Shooop!

That fighter’s strokes with his blade were fast and furious, with the resulting blade aura being well over three-meters-long, and the air before him was torn apart violently.

A sonic boom was even heard right after the stroke was unleashed.

A slash of that caliber would be able to cut down a steel plate a meter-thick easily. The effect of the blade aura was just as shocking as how it was portrayed in fantastical television dramas.

Be it Yin Hu or Lu Shanshan, they both had their own way of dealing with it.

What just happened proved to be quite an eye-opener to everyone at school.

However, all of that still paled in comparison to how Lu Xuan dealt with it, which was deemed utterly frightening.

Lu Xuan did little more than clamping down on the blade aura, hitting his foe with his fingers. That blade aura, which was a manifestation of terrifying Spiritual Qi, was utterly incapable of moving even an inch forward after that.

The attack shattered right before Lu Xuan.

“What!?” That Japanese fighter was both stunned and angry, backing off right away. It became obvious to him that the young man before him proved even more difficult to deal with than Yin Hu.

He wondered since when had Huaxia had fighters of such terrifying caliber in their midst? Lu Xuan was over 100 times more frightening than the head of that fighter’s organization.

“Hey brat, pay close attention. This is how you should use the Tianxian Fist,” Lu Xuan said and began moving with the beginning movements of that fist art.

He had been using killing moves whenever he fought all along. Every single simple move of his had always been an overkill move dished out in earnest.

There were few opponents who were worthy of having him use his true skills, as his overwhelming powers alone proved more than enough to deal with any enemy he faced at any time.

However, that was not to say that Lu Xuan had little knowledge of the intricacies of martial arts and magic. On the contrary, he had been a master of various disciplines even back in his past life.

The Tianxian Fist had been the ultimate art that he relied on in the past for taking down any truly powerful enemy. As such, it was not that Lu Xuan had no mastery of the arts, but that he hardly used it unless necessary.

Lu Shanshan’s eyes were thrown wide open as she stared at Lu Xuan, knowing right away just how great the gulf between her and her brother was.

She had to give it her all before she would be able to look like a celestial being when putting the art to use, and she thought that she had been doing decently with it prior. However, when compared to what Lu Xuan just did, the difference looked like that between heaven and earth instead.

Lu Xuan already looked like a celestial being, doing the beginning moves alone.

Lu Xuan said that such a feat was a proof of having honed one’s mastery of a fighting art to the extreme, so much so that one could bring out the profound core expression of the art.

“The Advent of the Gods!”

Lu Xuan took a single step, and it seemed as if the ground before him shrunk altogether. He appeared right before that Japanese fighter.

He then threw a single punch.

The way he moved made everyone around him think that he was some celestial god who had descended to the earth.

“Some will behind the move indeed!”

Yin Hu’s eyes, which were hidden behind his tiger mask, contracted somewhat. The will of the art was brought out with just a single move, and that was a feat achievable only by those at the very pinnacle of martial arts cultivation.

However, almost no one had been able to reach such a state before.

It was a state of being that existed only in legends.

Many were only able to perfect and master the form of an art despite having a lifetime in it. It was immensely difficult to even bring out the deeper substance of said arts despite having trained for so long. As such, being able to actually reach the “will,” which was the deepest personification of an art, was thought to be near impossible.

Not every form of martial arts had such a will imbued in them, and being able to train so profoundly to manifest such a will was even more difficult in those cases; it was deemed near impossible.

One could possibly get very, very powerful simply by ingesting all manner of treasures of the world, and that was something hardly worth mentioning. Being able to manifest such “will” in one’s art, however, was a state of being so mystical and legendary that one would not be able to accomplish anything by ingesting treasures alone.

Lu Xuan, however, was able to manifest such will in his moves. This was a feat that people could spend a lifetime trying to attain and fail. And this was despite the fact that he was in his early twenties.

Boom!

The punch looked slower than it actually was, landing squarely on the chest of that Japanese fighter in an instant.

Boooom!

That Japanese fighter was hit squarely by the attack, which caused his chest to cave in right away. He died from the attack instantly.

Lu Xuan had literally killed him with just a single shot.

“Gosh, the force and bearing of that punch is really something else altogether!”

Yin Hu watched with his jaw agape. He knew just how impossibly difficult that Japanese fighter had been. He had put considerable effort into tracking and apprehending that Japanese fighter, so much so that he almost died from being set up.

Yet, that Japanese fighter was utterly incapable of taking a single hit from that young man.

He had actually been killed in an instant.

That was the most terrifying thing amongst everything that had just happened. Yin Hu had never seen anyone with powers at such a level.

That Japanese fighter had been at the cutting edge among all fighters at Invincible Vajra level, and he was killed with just a single punch.

Yin Hu felt as if his brain would crash from the information overload. What made it even more unbelievable was how Lu Xuan pulled that terrifying punch just to show his sister the ropes.

Lu Shanshan stood around, looking utterly dazed. Her mind was filled with the Tianxian Fist Art that Lu Xuan just pulled moments before.

That one punch emanated the bearing of a celestial god.

That was something that she never encountered before. That one punch alone seemed to have been imbued with the very essence of the art in its entirety.

That was the result of Lu Xuan demonstrating the art just for his sister on purpose.

Lu Shanshan came to her senses mere moments later, and she looked like she was done taking it all in.

Lu Shanshan mimicked that punch that Lu Xuan just threw. Her understanding of the Tianxian Fist had taken a huge leap in that extremely short period of time, and she was actually able to catch bits of the essence of what Lu Xuan pulled earlier.

It would probably be a matter of time before she became able to throw a punch similar to that of Lu Xuan’s in terms of force and bearing.

“Thank you for saving me, Mr. Lu,” Yin Hu got up right away and thanked Lu Xuan respectfully.

“Don’t mention it. No big deal, after all,” Lu Xuan said as he looked at Yin Hu.

“This is not a good place to talk. Let’s go somewhere else.”

Lu Xuan hauled that Japanese fighter’s dead body right away and disappeared from the school in several leaps.

Yin Hu followed right away.

All who had had to bear witness to that intense battle dispersed before long. The entire school was thrown into chaos. None of them expected to be able to witness such a frightening battle on that day.

However, Lu Shanshan remained where she stood, and she was quickly surrounded by her peers, especially since she looked more like Yin Hu than Lu Xuan.

On the other side, Lu Xuan came to the top of a high-rise building and threw the body of that Japanese fighter aside. Yin Hu came to the top of that building before long, having followed Lu Xuan all the way.

Yin Hu, who was an Invincible Vajra himself, had no problem scaling a mere high-rise building.

“So you know me then?” Lu Xuan took a look at Yin Hu and said.

Yin Hu was stunned for a bit, before replying, “Truth be told, you were on our list of people to recruit when the organization was just founded, but the invitation was delayed due to some reasons.”

“The Dragon Soul? The Celestials?” Lu Xuan seemed to have recalled something right away, rummaging through pieces of the origins of that organization in his memory right away.

Lu Xuan had heard, back in his past life, that the Celestials had been the talk of the town at one point.
