The Urban Dao Child.

545 Madhouse.

Yang Dao had just made his way to the monster corpse and was about to extract the stony skin from it when he suddenly heard the disciple Cal speak up in a sonorous voice, “We have company, be on guard.”

The Dao Child froze up in his tracks, but after thinking about something, he walked forward to the corpse and took out his sword from the space ring. Then he used a three feet long sword like a kitchen knife and began to enlarge the cuts his fellow disciples had made on the monster corpse.

He did not care about the approaching group of people and focused on his work.

Ten people wearing green robes were using their flying swords when they witness a purple beam swiping over the horizon in distance and followed by which they saw a golden flicker. The leader of the group decided to check if the place had given birth to some natural treasure. However, when they were about to get close to the source of these lights, they found that a group of people was already looking in the direction of their approach.

Their faces turned unsightly, but the leader of the group did not want to give up so easily and decided to probe the people. However, not everything in life goes as you expect it to be. They spotted a young child wearing a white robe, flickering around a big thing, that looked like a monster and chipping off stones from it.

Cal took a step forward and said, “You people are from the Sweet Elixir Sect?”

The leading disciple narrowed his gaze and said, “Sovereign Sect?”

Cal nodded, and the other party said, “Why are you here?”

Amil snorted and said, “It is a free planet.” he did not feel like there was any need to provide these people with an answer.

The other party raised his eyebrow and asked, “Do you want me to use force?”

The sovereign sect disciples were shocked by this question of his and they all suddenly started laughing. Their laughter was not held back even in a bit. Yue Jing and Shakti were the only ones who were calm at this moment. They did not have the habit of looking down on their enemies. Suddenly, Shakti took out her sword and slashed at the group from the Sweet Elixir Sect.

Her attack did not move forward to attack the other people, but it was to block the attack from making its way towards them. The laughter came to an abrupt halt. The atmosphere became stiff and tense, Amil brandished his halberd and the rest of the people took out their weapons too. Cal said, “So, sneak attacks? Have the guts to face head-on? Let me show you what is force.”

As the people were ready to dive deep into battle, Yang Dao, who had finished skinning the monster walked over with his hands crossed behind his back, and mumbled, “Senior Brother Cal, how many times have you been told, not to be rude to others? I will tell Martial Uncle when we return.”

The group of Sovereign Sect was deterred with this one line, they had indeed been rude when they laughed at the threat instead of solving it. When the disciples from the Sweet Elixir sect found them softening up, he tried to push forward.

“Hmph, this kid has a better mind than all of you. Tell us what treasure did you get from this place?” his words were like a slap to the faces of the disciples from the Sovereign Sect.

Yang Dao raised his eyebrow to cast a gaze at the speaker, and he said, “Oi, did nobody tell you that lackeys should only speak when they are allowed to speak? Let the true leader of your group speak, this is not your place to be cocky.”

He was pissed when this guy called him a kid. He gave up his intention to mediate. The person was told off, and he was pissed, in a fit of rage and embarrassment, the guy said, “You son of a b…”

Before he could finish his words, he sensed a cold object pressing against his nape. Before anyone could even react, Yang Dao had approached in front of him with his sword blade caressing his neck. He said in a cold voice, “I can take your head off your shoulders for what you tried to say, and believe me, if this was not a trial, I would not have hesitated. So, mind what you say next time.”

The group from the sovereign sect did not feel any strong fluctuation in their hearts but the disciples from the Sweet Elixir Sect were not able to believe what just happened in front of them. After issuing the warning, Yang Dao took a step back and said, “Who is the true leader of your group?”

“I am.” sounded a soft voice.

Following that, a girl standing in the middle of the group walked up to the front. She was covering her face with a veil, her green robes complimented her looks. However, her eyes were filled with solitude and coldness.

Yang Dao looked at her face and asked, “Who might you be?”

The girl replied, “Prime Disciple of the Sweet elixir Sect, Natalie Brooke.”

“Prime Disciple Of Sovereign Sect, Yang Dao.” replied the boy with a nod.

The girl nodded and said, “We came here to investigate. That is all, I would like you to release my junior brother and we will be on our way.”

Yang Dao nodded and said, “I will leave him, but I must apologize to me for spewing that remark from earlier.”

His demand was simple, the person under his sword must apologize for his remark and that was it. Disciples of the sweet elixir sect were in a tough position. The girl said, “He did not get to complete his word.”

Yang Dao replied, “If he had completed them, then his head would have been on the ground as well.”

The situation has turned completely hostile and Yang Dao was not willing to give up an inch. The sweet elixir disciples had not expected such a turnaround.
