The Mysterious Black Magician

Before he was hit by Yman's Noble Rat Fire Doll attack, he shouted, "Vulca!" Kiko suddenly cried out and after he did that the intense mana exploded from his body.

The Noble Rat Fire Doll disappeared as soon as the intense mana pressure that burst from Kiko's body hit it. Suddenly, the spectators fell silent and everyone stared at the stage with dumbfounded faces. Everyone also felt the shaking of the stage as if an earthquake had passed. It was only then that everyone knew how strong the mana that Kiko suddenly released was. However, what Kiko did could have also caused harm to him. It was a reckless move!

Kiko knew the danger posed by what he had done. But it was more important to him to win this battle than losing in an embarrassing defeat. Kiko can't stand being beaten like that.

What he shouted was exactly the name of his System Deity who looked like a salamander. His shouting was a signal for them to use their advanced resonance.

Yman's eyes narrowed the moment he heard what Kiko said. It's a pity because his Fire Doll failed to finish Kiko. He secretly sent it earlier using a kind of carrier model Enhanced Fire Doll to surprise his opponent.

Well, he didn't really expect that his simple surprise could beat the hell out of Kiko. Yman just did it to buy him some time. Unexpectedly, that Fire Doll accomplished more than he expected.

While thinking of such things, Yman prepared himself for Kiko's next move. Just as Yman predicted, Kiko didn't waste time, he rushed forward.

Earlier, Kiko had felt Yman's mana from the Noble Rat monster. He had a strong hunch that... that Noble Rat was not a real monster. He felt no killing intent or bloodlust coming from it that most hostile monsters like the Noble Rat have. For Kiko, that was questionable. 

But, at this time, he had a strong hunch that the Noble Rat was one of Yman's creations. He had no idea how Yman made those things. But remembering those drones he used from his previous matches, Kiko believed that Yman was capable of creating or summoning those things using his mana. He had no idea how that one was able to sneak behind him, but as long as he was careful, he believed that none of Yman's toys could hurt him.

In fact, the power of that Noble Rat just now wasn't enough to end him. Kiko believed that Yman's toys weren't as strong as the originals. In this case, if he avoided his sneak attack, Kiko was certain that Yman and his toys weren't a match to him. His victory in this match is absolute! Kiko thought.

Also, Kiko learned something from that Noble Rat; Yman's toys weren't unbreakable. His figure shot at unimaginable speed towards Yman.

In just a matter of seconds, he arrived in front of Yman. Kiko swung his massive sword in a fast vertical strike. No matter what happens he would be going to beat this bastard!

His sword was surrounded by flames. So if this attack hits his opponent, there's only one outcome! A certain victory.

"Yahhh!" Kiko shouted loudly.

Yman knew the danger that Kiko's attack posed. He did not hesitate. He jumped to his right. Suddenly the place where he was standing half a second later exploded. 

Boom!

The stage shook once again. The power of that attack was undoubtedly destructive. Bob and the others felt a chill run down their spines. One could only imagine the worst fate when hit by it.

"Tsk! The bastard had managed to escape!" Marco commented with a click of his tongue.

Kiko noticed Yman's shadow at the corner of his vision. He already knew that his attack failed to hit. Without letting his opponent distance him, Kiko made a full horizontal swing. "Die!" He shouted.

Woosh!

The blade of his sword passed a few inches away above Yman's head. He ducked at the right time. Yman felt a burning sensation on his scalp. That must be the heat from Kiko's blade. Fortunately, he avoided those flames from burning him.

Kiko used the momentum of his attack to send a kick with his left foot. Yman barely avoided it by leaping away.

His three consecutive attacks failed to hit his target. Kiko clenched his teeth in frustration. But it only happened for a second. He believed that Yman was just lucky. 

Kiko turned and faced Yman, who was standing a few meters away from him. "Let's see how long your luck can save you!" He declared. Kiko then summoned more flames around him.

He fired multiple fireballs at Yman. Yman had to evade. Even though he had high resistance to fire elements, the pressure from the explosion could still deal damage to him.

A grin appeared on Kiko's face when he noticed Yman was like an escaping rat, running away while dodging his onslaught with all his might. 

Consecutive explosions happened on the stage as Kiko fired destructive fireballs nonstop.

In just a few seconds of the start of their fight, the stage was already in a mess. It was perforated and smoky from Kiko's fireballs. It seemed as though a rapid rocket launcher was fired continuously.

"Hahaha! Kiko will definitely win. You see. His opponent can do nothing," commented one of the VIPs who had a big bet on Kiko. It was only natural for him to think this because it was obvious to everyone that Yman was almost helpless.

He could only dodge. If he stops running even for a moment, he would definitely get hit with Kiko's very powerful fireballs. Bob and the others also understood Yman's dire situation. That's why, they fell silent. It's a pity that Kiko managed to turn the table.. He was now the one dictating the match.
