The Mysterious Black Magician

When the two heard the go signal they stepped together. Maena immediately fired arrows with her trusted weapon. Five arrows flew quickly towards Sonya's whereabouts. On the other hand, vortices appeared in the air as Sonya waved the one-meter-and-a-half stick she was holding. The position of the vortices is in the very path of the arrows.

Thus, when the arrows hit the vortices, the arrows disappeared like bubbles. The vortices also disappeared along with the arrows. But, the next moment, the vortices reappeared in the air, slightly above where Maena was.

The vortices!

Maena's mind screamed when she noticed it above her vision. Her eyes narrowed and her plan to follow up her attack was forgotten. Her sense of danger rang when she saw them. She immediately jumped into the air. It was an acrobatic move. Her body spun in the air. Right after Maena jumped away, something came out of those vortices.

When she glanced at the objects spewed out by the vortices her eyes widened a little. The arrows?! Her suspicion was correct. The arrows eaten by the vortices came out of those vortices. This was the exact technique that made Sonya's opponents miserable.

Maena used her hand to support her body while holding the arrow in her other hand. She did another quick tumbling to dodge those arrows. Five arrows pierced the surface of the stage in a row. It was good that she was quick to react. If not, those arrows will surely be buried in her body.

As her body rotated in the air, Maena fired arrows again. Three consecutive arrows flew in Sonya's direction.

Swoosh ~

Sonya responded quickly. She made vortex traps again to catch the arrows again. As before, vortices appeared in the path of the arrows. But, instead of eating the arrows, the unexpected happens. The vortices are the ones disappearing!

Maena sneered at Sonya when she landed gracefully on her feet.

Sonya noticed that these arrows were different than before. They are covered in the ice attribute!

Sonya's eyes widened slightly at the unexpected attack. She did not expect that even in such a situation Maena was quick to think of a countermeasure to her attack. Sonya's feet lit up and she suddenly disappeared from her stand.

It was like teleporting but that's not what really happened. She just increased her speed using the wind attribute to get away quickly. She decided to avoid them. The arrows fired by Maena sank into the surface of the stage.

The two stopped the attack for a moment and stared at each other. In the first second of the match, they immediately witnessed intense action. The spectators seemed petrified at that moment before the screams rang out.

"Very exciting!"

"That's the action! Action immediately, no more shyness! "

The spectators shouted because of the intensity of the fight in the first few seconds.

The arrows and the Wind Blades collided and they both disappeared. In this case, the result looks fair. Both the arrows and the vortices disappeared. It seems Sonya also boosted her vortices so that they don't disappear in case Maena's arrow with the ice attribute hit them.

Their exchange of attacks continued before the two decided to take the fight seriously. The two used Advanced resonance at the same time. Now their fight has become even more intense. They unleashed stronger magical attacks.

Maena fired a large arrow with an ice attribute to finish off her opponent. But when Sonya saw it, she also immediately cast a large Wind Spear into the air to counter it. Their actions are quick as well the delivery of their attacks, both are at a different level compared to others. These two seem to be accustomed to this kind of battle.

A loud explosion occurred when they collided. While it seemed to be hailing on the stage due to the explosion of a big Ice Arrow and a big Wind Spear, the two fighters didn't seem to care about what happened. Their fight continued as if there was no end.

Maena jumped to her right and left her position. After she did this, there appeared a large vortex under her feet where she was standing a moment ago.

Again, the two unleashed powerful combinations of attacks. All the spectators held their breath without blinking their eyes. Even the two fighting on stage were holding their breaths. Just a slight delay of their movement is possible to cause their defeat.
