The Mysterious Black Magician

"Oh no! Will the match end so fast?!" Mora Liz shouted.

Bam! A huge explosion happened at Josie Finn's position right after Mora Liz asked.

Everyone stared with anticipation. However, when the smoke dissipated, all of them were surprised by what they saw.

"Woah! This is unexpected! Josie Finn avoided the difficult situation with the help of the black hunter beast!" The amazed voice of the cute commentator resounded in the plaza.

Just as the commentator, Mora Liz, said, the black hunter beast disappeared in its position and reappeared in the position where Josie Finn was, a while ago. It looks like it could swap their positions.

However, because of its action, the black hunter beast suffered injuries when the two chakrams exploded on it.

Everyone responded with a loud cheer.

Yman didn't expect that one of the beasts would have that kind of ability.

"Kai, are you okay?!" Josie Finn shouted asking the black hunter beast.

It responded with a low growl, seemingly in pain.

[Heal!]

Josie Finn did not wait for Yman to follow up his attack. She used a healing spell on her beast.

Yman narrowed his eyes.

The wounds immediately healed right after Josie Finn used a healing spell.

The beast stood up once again and squinted in Yman's direction. At the same time, gnashing, showing its razor-sharp teeth.

The two hunter beasts retreated on Josie Finn's sides. They were staring at their opponent, who was standing several steps away from them.

Josie Finn bit her lips, she had to admit that Yman wasn't only about strength. He's a clever opponent as well. Aside from that, his abilities were not ordinary as well.

'Tsk, he almost got me!' thought Josie Finn.

At Josie Finn's command, the two beasts produced a massive ball of water and fire on their mouths.

Josie Finn noticed Yman did not move on his position. He probably didn't want to do reckless moves. Also, it was apparent on his face that he was maintaining his vigilance.

The two hunter beasts didn't take long to produce the massive balls. It only took a second, then fired simultaneously at Yman.

Looking at the two massive balls of fire and water, everyone agreed that it was a sure-kill attack. Yet, they noticed Yman did not move an inch on his position.

"Hmm…" Josie Finn felt suspicious at his gesture.

It only took a second for the two elemental balls to traverse the distance between them and Yman. All of the onlookers saw it when the two elemental massive balls hit him. Then an explosion stronger than the previous explosion happened at that moment.

The audience exclaimed. There was a tremble after the explosion. It looks like the ground trembles from the power of the explosion.

Josie Finn remained calm and her focus was in front of her. She couldn't tell what happened to her opponent because of the thick smoke that was covering the area where he was standing. There was lots of smoke. It is probably because it was a combined attack of water and fire.

Josie Finn didn't lower her guard. At least not until the announcer declared her victory.

She got excited when she heard Mora Lizz's voice.

"Everyone! The two hunter beasts finally showed their might! Those massive balls are no doubt one of the most powerful attacks that were shown in this competition. Sadly, because of the smoke, we can't be sure of what happened to the opponent, Crimson!"

"However, believe me, or not! Something unbelievable was currently happening!"

Upon hearing Mora Liz's words, the majority was wondering what she meant by unbelievable words of hers.

Even Josie Finn was wondering what she meant by it.

To fill up everyone's puzzlement, Mora Liz pointed her finger to the large monitor above while saying, "Crimson's health points are still fullllll!!!" Her voice echoed as she shouted the last word.

Everyone's eyes were lured towards the monitor, they glanced at it simultaneously. Then, at the same time, they exclaimed.

All were surprised. Then they heard an unusual noise. When they looked back to the smoke, the smoke was no longer there. And standing still in his original position was the contestant named Crimson.

"How did he do that?"

Everyone was wondering when they noticed something around him.

"Everyone, Crimson is surrounded by three little objects that look like small aircraft! Those three little aircraft went to V formation and produced a magical shield!"

Yman called them Defensive Drone Fire Dolls.

On the stage, Josie Finn frowned. In her mind, it looks like her opponent wasn't only a clever opponent but also a tricky one.

But, it didn't lower her determination to win this match.

'Then let's see how far those toys can last!' Thought Josie Finn.

After squinting her eyes, she signaled an attack.

The two hunter beasts roared a deafening roar before they attacked again.
