The result of his first match was unexpected, not only by him but also with the other Rankers who were watching the fight.

"I won! I won!" Said Special Girl as she was jumping high and low.

The ranker named The Mysterious had mysteriously logged out. He disappeared in the middle of sending a finishing fist.

Everyone in the Citadel gawked before a guffaw shook the whole room.

"What the hell is that outcome!? Hahaha! Her opponent had logged out the instance she tore his pants!"

"Wahahaha! These newbies are such comedians!"

"That guy is surely afraid of the girl seeing his little thing!"

Puwahahaha!

While inside the Citadel everyone was batshit laughing,

On the other hand, Yman was surprised to see himself back in his room. He blinked twice before he checked the result of his previous match. His mouth hung open when he saw it was empty. He believed he lost by default after his disconnection.

He glanced around him and saw Sistela was in hibernation mode.

Yman scratched the back of his head and forced a wry smile. "It can't be helped. Haha, look, who says she won't let a single mosquito come near me?" he mumbled.

Although he was lost, he wasn't a bit disheartened.

"Damnit!" He was too engrossed with many things in his mind that he failed to notice it was a 2% battery only before he logged in.

"Hm… Wait, how to recharge it? I have to check the manual…"

"Damn, so damn…"

"....."

After reading the manual, a blank face was facing the ceiling.

"It had a sensor that could absorb the soul of the fallen?"

"What is this supposed to mean?"

"Isn't this an ordinary device--!"

"Wait-- it isn't ordinary at all! The fact that it could send me to that Virtual Arena was already out of the ordinary."

Yman was mumbling alone inside his room. He was trying to understand the use of 5d-Seer.

After reading the booklet, "I see, I needed to fuel it with the monster's soul!"

"....."

"Souls? Souls are the main element to enter the 5th dimension?"

"Unbelievable!" Yman exclaimed when he had a realization.

The 4th dimension was very common in this era. It even was used in different ways. One of them was the Cyber Storage and the spatial ring; Whereas the 5th dimension was the most difficult to enter. Not even on the Outerworld that he heard of such a way to enter this fifth dimension.

So upon realizing the real purpose of the 5d-Seer, he was beyond surprised.

"Hehe! This Innerworld is truly a mystical place!"

Even though he was mumbling it, he was still a little doubtful if it was truly the legit 5th dimension written in the old books.

"Regardless, the monster soul it mentioned was the energy inside the inner core of the monster."

"Phew! Good thing I stored some in my Cyber Storage," Yman sighed in relief as he remembered the inner cores of the Big Beak Worms he stored in the Cyber Storage. There was even that inner core from the Abnormality that he killed near the market.

He did not waste another time and summon his Cyber Storage. He took one of the inner cores he looted from the worm.

At the back of the 5d-Seer device, there was a part that looked like a camera and also a little vacuum. But it wasn't like that. This thing was called Soul Absorber.

He pointed the Soul Absorber to the inner core on his palm. After he did it, greenish energies were floating towards the camera-like parts of the device.

"I see, it looks like mutated beasts have greenish soul color. Whereas, Humans and Demihumans have the same blueish. Demons, on the other hand, have red."

The inner core unexpectedly crumbled and turned to dust after it was dried out.

Then the 5d-Seer Device had finally rebooted; he noticed an additional 10% of SoB(Soul Battery).

"Hm… That inner core was only equal to 10 percent SoB?!" He exclaimed. "Unbelievable!"

"Then again, I don't even have any idea of its quality."

"....."

He took another one and pointed the Soul Absorber to the second inner core. Like the first one, the inner core was sucked dry.

Another 10 percent of 'SoB' was added.

Yman took the third inner core. It was still the same inner core from Big Beak Worm.

The next second, his 5d-Seer accumulated 30 percent of SoB.

Yman furrowed as he was staring at his Ranker Status. Now it was tainted by a loss. Tsk! He could only click his tongue in dismay while starting at his 1 loss record.

He shook his head.

The device was able to absorb 30 percent of SoB, he believed that it would at least enable him to finish several battles before its battery emptied again.

He noticed 50 of his points were gone. Now, he only left with 50 also.

"....."

He positioned himself again on the bed. Then scan for available opponents. Just like before, many code names together with their levels had shown up.

After selecting his prepared enemy, he chose the <Random> choices for the battlefield.

Inside the Citadel, one ranker was laughing together with his friends. They saw a hilarious duel just now. The guy had logged out after his enemy tore his pants.

Right now, they are repeatedly chanting the name of the winner.

Special Girl! Special Girl! Special Girl!

She suddenly became popular because of that win. On the contrary, her enemy had become the laughing stock.

They could not forget his codename. It was The Mysterious! Bwahahahaha! A man guffawed whenever he remembered him logging out after his pants were torn apart.

He wanted to battle him for fun only. Unfortunately, he could not issue a battle invitation to him as he was already a Level 5 Ranker. Any newbies with zero level could not be invited by higher level than them. But the Level 0 Ranker could send a battle invitation to a higher level by their own accord.

Most of the higher Level Ranker would wish to challenge a lower level Ranker. Especially, that it was fun toying with them. Overwhelming them with so much power.

Higher-level Rankers had better equipment than the lower level. Not only because they already accumulated enough points to shop for items. But every better tier equipment needed a corresponding level to acquire.

At the moment, the man was still in guffaw together with others. It was hard to forget that final scene.

Ding!

He stopped laughing when his 5d-Seer made a loud notification tone.

"Fufufu, who could it be…" there was only one reason that this kind of tone would ring. It was to inform him of a new challenge invitation.

He clicked on it to access the holographic screen.

When the challenger's name appeared together with the invitation, a chuckle broke from his mouth.

He could not believe it! Hehe! He was so lucky! That man sent him a challenge!

He ran to the private section of the Citadel.
