After Yan Shuyu had gotten out of bed, she started getting ready slowly and contemplated which new dress she should wear today. And the little boys, too, started working on getting themselves ready.
Zhang Yuanjia was getting more and more familiar with getting dressed on his own which has, subsequently, put quite a bit of pressure on the little young master. He, too, could dress himself somewhat, but a proper outfit was still difficult for him. As such, the two bros had swapped their styles noticeably with Zhang Yuanjia in a suit more and more often resembling his Uncle Zhou and the little young master more and more being seen in his casual clothes.
When the two brothers finished getting ready, Yan Shuyu was almost done as well. She walked downstairs holding the two boy’s hands and smelled food. Another aunty that they had never seen before poked her head out. “Good morning, Miss Yan, little young masters. Breakfast is ready. Should I serve it now?”
Yan Shuyu was very delighted. The boss had mentioned that there would be aunties over to prepare three meals a day but she didn’t think that they’d start today.
She sat down with the little boys and enjoyed the delectable and familiar breakfast – the breakfast tasted exactly the same as the ones that the boss used to bring them.
After a good night’s sleep and a delectable breakfast, Yan Shuyu went to work happily.
The day went by quickly while she felt like she was walking on clouds. After dinner, Yan Shuyu even watched a classic animation with the little kiddos inside their home theater. The experience there was no worse than at a real theater.
It was already past 9 PM after they had finished their movie. Just like the night before, Yan Shuyu urged the two boys to bath but declined their requests to sleep with her. It wasn’t so much that she had said “just this one time only” yesterday but that she had to go pick up Uncle Zhou / Daddy later tonight and that they would be woken up.
The little kiddos quickly switched their requests from wanting to go to bed with her to wanting to go pick up Uncle Zhou/Daddy with her. And, just like last time, by the time Yan Shuyu was getting ready to leave at 10 PM, the two of them were already sound asleep on the bed.
Yan Shuyu didn’t bother putting them back to their own respective beds but shoved them together into one bed and took off.
It had been six months since her transmigration and Yan Shuyu had never ridden on the plane yet. That being said, she was quite familiar about the route to the airport. She drove to the airport from her memory from the last time she picked the boss up. Sure enough, she saw another familiar silhouette.
This time it wasn’t Secretary Lu who went on the trip with the boss, but Robin, another one of the boss’s elite assistants. The two tall and handsome men walking side by side was a great scene. After she had parked and just when Yan Shuyu was about to come down and greet them, the boss had already pulled open the passenger side door and sat down.
The small area was quickly filled with the boss’s presence. Caught off guard, Yan Shuyu heard the boss told Robin, still outside of the car, “You should head home as well.”
Robin smiled and said, “Alright. Goodnight, Boss Zhou and Miss Yan. Have a safe drive back.”
From the not-so-good angle, Yan Shuyu could barely see the side profile of the elite assistant and heard his voice. She responded with a “you too” reflexively and saw him quickly walking toward the car parked across from them. Surprised, she said, “He’s leaving just like that?”
While she was in a trance, the boss had already buckled himself up and gave her a leisurely look. “Oh? You don’t want him to leave just yet? Should we invite him back to chat some more?”
Yan Shuyu’s immediate response was to shake her head. Then, all of a sudden, she noticed the boss’s interesting word choice. She didn’t want him to leave just yet? Just why would she feel that way?
Once that thought had dawned on her, Yan Shuyu’s look lit up. She teased the boss boldly, “What’s going on here? Are you jealous?”
