The Kidnapped Bride

At her words, Seren got furious. "You both aren't married till yet! You aren't even his wife!"

"I will, sooner or later. But that doesn't change the reality for you, Seren. An actor got pregnant before her marriage, and the man isn't willing to accept you as his. What are you going to do then?"

"You have fame and everything. Don't forget that Lucas was still engaged to me when everything happened. How am I supposed to accept that the new child blooming in your stomach actually belongs to my fiance?" Jennifer's brows raised when she voluntarily questioned.

Her sentences hit Seren hard. But her nails were digging in her flesh as she never tore her gaze off from Jennifer's face. "You are making an allegation."

"So are you on Lucas and on his entire Smith family?"

Jennifer's words made the lady's teeth grit against each other. Seren's face was filled with the evident void of anger. She was burning in the pit of the fire, ready to snap Jennifer's head. "Y-You...Jennifer, you're seriously crossing the limit! This child is of Lucas and...whether believe it or not, a DNA test will prove so!"

"But that will happen only after the child is born. Till now, how are you so sure that this innocent life belongs to Lucas? You are an actress. You stayed god knows where. How are we supposed to come to the terms that you.... aren't putting someone else's seed in Lucas?" Jennifer was the question like any sag being thrown over.

It mostly pulled the attention of Jack and Olivia. They were alarmed, to the extent where they found her actions invalid. 'Why is she so protective towards Lucas?' Jack found no reason for her to do so. Moreover shouldn't she simply get furious over Lucas and breaks her engagement over this topic? 

Jack got no hints, neither did Olivia, who was even turning madder. Since the time Seren had appeared and the news spread like any fire, it got her mind out. Never ever in her lifetime, she expects that the person Lucas would get pregnant would be none other than her enemy. Did he get only this lady to select as the mother of his child? 

While her annoyance gradually increased, Olivia had a hard time controlling her mouth. "SEREN! Don't even think that you can make all of us fools here. We all know, a lady like you..won't stick to anyone." 

On hearing Olivia's voice, Seren turned around. Her face covered the layers of darkness before she answered, "You are saying this Olivia? You are yourself the evidence, that Lucas and I used to meet!"

"You were the one who saw me that day while coming out of his cabin Didn't you? How can you say that I'm making all of us a fool?" 

"B-because....you..are a fucking slut!" The words rolled out from Olivia's biting tongue. Recalling the time when she had last seen Seren it made all sense.

It was the worst memory that was embedded in her brain. Hard to get it out, Olivia could recall how she had walked on both of them having their private session. Seren had opened her legs for this bastard, and he had accepted her advances. 

God knows, how bad she had felt. The pain which she had to endure all because of them. Yet Olivia had managed to let it slip since that was simply a one-time session. It wasn't supposed to turn into something serious. 

But probably, she was all wrong., and it is now on the edge costing her a lot... 

Without tearing the gaze, Olivia stepped forward. Her jaw had cleaned all together. Coming straight in front of Seren, she faced her without any daze. There was no trace of guilt, except all that surfaced was the annoyance, frustration which she had been carrying for the years... 

"A bitch like you deserves more than just a baby..." And saying this, Olivia had voluntarily raised her hand, ready to slap Seren, who stood without any guards. 

Subconsciously, in the minute seconds, Seren had covered her face with her hands, while Jack had taken the few steps ahead, to come to the rescue of the pregnant lady

However, when Olivia was on the edge of finally planting a slap on Seren's face, her hand was held in the middle. A strong, stern grip wrapped on her wrist, to which she tucked her eyes and found that it was none other than Jennifer.. 

"Y-you....Jennifer, You know that she deserved this!" 

"She is pregnant, don't forget about the existence of a child." Jennifer finally pushed Olivia's hand down, to pass her glare. "Whether the child is of Lucas or not, we can't harm him or her. So, think twice before doing..anything wrong." 

"The child...." Olivia shook her head. "Who knows whose child is she labeling as Lucas's child! You are his fiance! How can you support this mistress?"

"Because, along being his fiance, I'm a lady too. I can't let a pregnant woman be harmed either.." Jennifer muttered under her breath. 

Not even having the slightest liking towards Seren, Jennifer had to control her sentiments. At the end of the day, she had lost her child too. And it wasn't any distant memory. 

Knowing how much a slap can cause to a woman, especially when an innocent life is growing under her flesh, it gripped her heart tight with the chains.

On the other hand, Oliva had gone crazy. She can't believe her own ears, after hearing that Jennifer was siding with the pregnant lady. 

"Jennifer....she will snatch everything from you.." 

"Doesn't matter. She can't snatch the things which aren't mine in the first place either." Jennifer gave a benefitting reply while bringing her arms around her chest. 

On the other hand, Lucas had maintained the deep quietness. He was constantly being observing the quarrel of the ladies, trying not to interfere in the same. 

But the same can't be said for the Elder Master Smith, as well as for Amara who was filled with concern for their own. 

Amara rotated her head to view Grandfather Smith, who was carrying the distant reaction to the place. Everything made sense, and it made Amara gulp the saliva present in her mouth.

"Father...."

"I have made the decision regarding everything."
