The Kidnapped Bride

Chapter 369 - My Love Is Javier!

At this point, there was pin-drop silence all around them.

After what David said, no one even said anything, except to wait for Jennifer to make a movement or to say in return.

They were all looking at her with their anticipating eyes, believing their words would affect her nevertheless, she will definitely move them.

She will walk on her own, leaving her deadly kidnapper there itself.

Similarly, Javier, whose face was downwards facing the ground, had lifted till now. He stared at Jennifers' back, with his own curious eyes. What will she do now after all the blunder she created?

Indirectly, she was the one who actually created all the mess around them. Will Jennifer really leave him?

At this thought, Javier's heart was attacked with thousands of arrows. No, he can't let her go so easily...she was his wife!

But he waited until he heard those words herself. He wanted to see if she was willing to leave all the memories they shared together, all the love they had, and the night together....was she willing to depart from all of those effortlessly?

Everyone's eyes were stagnant to her figure.

While Jennifer could feel her face getting pale and trembling body. Her mind was shaking and it was not under her control.

A faint bitter smile curved on her lips when Jennifer finally nodded her head, "You are correct. I should return back to my home....our home."

"Yes yes! Jennifer, let's all leave. We don't have to stay here anymore." David's enthusiasm told her with his eyes shining with happiness.

After all, no matter what, the daughter can never defy them. She hasn't done it in the twenty-five years of her life.

But her statement was what smashed Javier from the internal core. 'Did she just agree....?' his lips parted but no voice came out of them as if they were too much blown by her actions.

Jennifer took a deep breath when she finally met with her father's happily filled eyes, "The same home which gave me shelter... the home I grew up in."

"But at this point in my life, I don't need that home anymore."

THUD!

THUD!

THUD!

Javier gulped the saliva present in his mouth as if he was dreaming. Was he? Did she say..she doesn't need her home?

If he was disturbed, so were her parents taken aback.

They jolted back to open their mouths, "Jennifer..wh...what are you even saying.."

"I said I don't own your home anymore. I have my home here and my home will be where my love is...and the person I LOVE, not the one whom you will choose." Saying this, Jennifer took a few steps back before she just stood beside the surprised Javier.

His body was numb to all that happened but the eyes never tore from her eyes. They were stagnant at her as if his entire life was dependent on this human being.

Finally, Jennifer wrapped her fingers with Javier's fingers. Their hands intermingled with each other when Jennifer lifted her eyes in his direction.

Giving him a sweet smile, she nodded her head, "The person I love..."

Rotating her head, Jennifer looked at her parents and Lucas, whose face was turned into a grim position, "...The man with whom I plan my future, someone who is responsible for the smile over my lips."

"I can't stay in the marriage with a man whom you chose because I don't love Lucas. Lucas can have hundreds of brides. And if you think that he will give you plenty of money in return for me, so can I after working with Javier for some time."

Jennifer was brutally honest with her words. Nothing could hinder her feelings for her husband; she will never let this part be dimmed. If she had to take a stand for this love today..she will, without any doubt because, this was done or die situation.

Everyone was surprised by her actions. The only difference was, Javier's heart was blooming as if in the gardens while her parents and Lucas were only souring.

Their gloomy aura was much clear to witness, and especially Lucas whose forehead lines deepened.

"Jennifer, you have no idea what you're young..." Lucas mutters from the other side but Jennifer shakes her head, "I'm fully sober Lucas. I know what I'm saying with my voice and consciousness. Accept this and leave."

"Because I'm not going anywhere. My house is beside my love and the love of life is Javier, not you. Will not accept you ever in this lifetime so stop wasting the time and leave for once and all.." Jennifer didn't try to beat around the bush.

She was strict on her words which irked Lucas even more.  The fact that she was choosing a Johnson heir above him was troublesome and a blow to his self-esteem. For him, this was unacceptable. How can a girl reject him when he is always the one who will toy with them?!

Fury now started to shine in Lucas's eyes which had even alarmed her parents. They were almost in the position of pleading with her to actually not disobey Lucas.

But it was too late. They never asked for her opinion before they arranged her marriage with a bastard like him. So now, she has married someone else and she will not even disclose it to them.

In her eyes, they aren't worthy of being told.

Despite the numerous numbers of bodyguards around them, pointing their guns at their heads, she wasn't scared.

And for the very first time in her life, she realized what others meant that their love made them stronger, either mentally or emotionally.

At first, Lucas didn't react much. Neither did his expression change but he yelled, "Do you know that just at this point, I can actually ask my man to fire a bullet that will surpass his brain and he will die instantly?"

"If you think that you can do..." Jennifer broke her hand from Javier's hand before she had to take a few steps to come in front of Javier.

Her eyes were shining with deadly glare, with the utmost confidence in the body language.

"Your people will have to harm me before any of you come for Javier.. Try touching my love and you will face my wrath."
