The Kidnapped Bride

Chapter 334 - Confusion

On the other hand, Ryan and Ellen, both were driving to one of the prestigious hotels of their state.

But the reason wasn't to attend any meeting or similar, but to see a person and convince the same to leave their lives for once and all…

Ellen peaked at the man sitting beside him from the corner of his eyes, "How come your girlfriend from university days arrived here?"

"Why don't you ask Javier about this blunder?" Ryan's entire focus was on the roads from which they passed.

His teeth greeted at the mere thought of trying to handle the mess which was now created by someone else. 'If not because of Javier, I wouldn't have to deal with this…'

But this was only his thought. "She was your girlfriend. How come Javier is responsible for this?"

Hearing this, Ryan eyes Ellen with a sharp glare to reply back, "That lady wasn't supposed to just show up at my pace!? Who the hell did give her the keys to my apartment?"

A sigh escaped from Ellen's lips, when he shook his head, "The lady appeared herself here. What was Javier supposed to do? Tell you?"

"Yes."

"Then you would have done the same thing which we are singing now. Doesn't make any difference to me. You would have still tried to convince her in either situation." Ellen's sharp answer and Ryan was annoyed.

Frustration was constantly living inside his mind to recall the times of university days, where he did lots of fun...but only in the eyes of others.

'At the moment to forget Amaira, this girl is around my neck now…' subconsciously, his hands scratched his head from behind to realize his mistake of the old days.

Only if he didn't try out the useless way to let go of his past, which was ultimately a flop too.

Soon, they arrived in the parking of the hotel. Giving the keys to the ballet person, they walked inside the hotel to directly go towards the reception.

"Please inform the lady staying in room number 302 that her guests are here," Ryan spoke in the fine tone to which the reception nodded. "I will make the call."

Ryan and Ellen waited for some time till the staff got approval. Surveying the hotel from inside, they came across its interior to be top-notch.

While both the men were looking here and there to see the beauties of the place, the ladies passing by here actually had a good view to stare at.

Two men, with broad shoulders and veins, lined hands, wearing glasses were standing like any mafia people. Nevertheless, this was a sight to see.

"You both can go to the room number. Please take the first left… there are lifts." The receptionist answered when Ryan and Ellen made their way.

However, in the hurry to ignore all the eyes towards them, they did forget a major person who was shocked by their presence here.

Amaira, who had just got out of the restaurant with her friends, was smiling. Her eyes never caught the sight of someone known, until she heard her friends saying, "Gosh… it's so hotness even here."

"Hotness?" Amaira was confused by her words but then her gaze moved along to view her seeing two people from their back, "Oh! So.. you mean this kind of hotness. Hmm.."

"Yeah obviously, don't you see how cool they look? Like the kind of dominating man in the bed…" the dirty talk started and Amaira had to control the urge to not roll her eyes.

Her lips were set into a straight line already where she found this lewd, "Alright. Let us go. We have work to do.."

"Yeah, a boring person like you will not be interested in taking a view of them.." her friend taunted her but she didn't mind at all.

After all, this was how she has turned into after circumstances that poured over her head.

Tugging her bag, Amaira and her friend were ready to leave, until she felt a similar face being seen by her. 'Wait.. did my eyes catch something wrong?'

Subconsciously, she turned around immediately to see Ryan and Ellen making their way towards the elevator without even sparing an eye to anyone's presence.

'What are these two doing here?' She was clueless but her interest already got equipped. On the second note, her heart craves, 'Why don't I ask them to take me back home?'

It was much better to go along with known people rather than taxi drivers.

Looking back at her friend, she made an apologetic face, "I'm sorry. I just remembered my brother had a meeting in this hotel. So, I will probably go home with him."

"Are you sure you don't want any ride?" Her friend asked again with worry. In the text, Amaira passed her a smile, "Do not worry. You go back."

As expected, her friend left, leaving her alone at her place.

Without delaying anymore, Amaira walked closer to the elevator present, with her eyes stagnant on the digital sign, to see the floor on which the other elevator just stopped. 'So.. they went to the third floor?'

She had no idea why her instincts were working in this manner, but she was determined to know about their reason.

Biting her lips, Amaiara took another elevator to press the third-floor digit. The elevator took her to the third floor where the door was opened.

What she came across was to find the rooms, 'So.. they aren't here for a meeting or something?' That was something odd as her brows shifted from their position.

Taking a few turns and curves, Amaira was ready to take the left, but then, her legs instantly moved back on their own to hide behind the wall.

'Why the hell are they entering the room and that too with a smile on Ellen's face?'
