The Kidnapped Bride

Chapter 209 - I Will Propose Soon!

"When the right time will come.." was what Jennifer answered back with a smile that never faded from her face.

But at the same time, Hannah can't help but slam her forehead with her hand. "You are still not clear about your feelings? Is that right?"

The question was big enough to make her realize the exact meaning but it wasn't how it was deemed.

Shooking her head, they kept on walking on the trail in the fresh air of the morning. The chirpings of the sound were heard, adding more of the silence. Yet it was peaceful.

"It isn't like that Hannah…" Jennifer mumbled in between her breathe to get a reply, "Explain it please then.. if I'm wrong."

"You aren't wrong. I just feel that telling my emotions to anyone is hard. Rather, I prefer it when I'm comfortable. In my entire life, I have started liking someone.. isn't that amazing?" The glow was evident on her face when she took the name of Javier in her conversations.

Hannah clearly noted how much Jennifer has changed after arriving in this state. So has her aura and her feelings.

The girl who was simply used to safeguarding her heart away from all the heartbreaks, in order to protect herself from this unkind world was already on the verge of stepping into the world of love...

"That Is surely amazing but will you let go of that love so easily? I know that these feelings are new to you but, you swear that sometimes we have to take the step at the right time.." Hannah's words did make sense to her too.

For a few seconds, she kept mum, letting Hannah's word proceed in the back of her mind when she slightly nodded her head. 'The right step, hmmm, Javier has a fiance to be, and if I don't propose and express my feelings.. will I be left behind?'

The same worry computed her heart when she realized that the situation was also connected with her emotions.

Turning her face towards Hannah, her brows twisted in fear, "But if I express my feelings and…"

"You are afraid that you will be counted as the third wheel in the relationship of his fiance? That girl named Emily, right,"

Receiving a nod from Jennifer's side, Hannah gave her an assured smile.

"If you two feel something towards each other, what can the third person do? Moreover, Javier looks too unwilling to get into any kind of engagement with her."

"Right. He said that this engagement was fixed by his parents, not by this agreement. He has no hard feelings towards her.." declaring his words, did soothe her heart to know that she wasn't entirely on the wrong path.

Her nerves relaxed a bit and Hannah gave her a positive sign, "That is true if he said that. So, at least express what you feel and leave everything on his part. Just don't waste enough time.."

"We don't know how long we are here. There, I believe Lucas must be doing everything to get you back too. Utilizing the time judiciously before slipping it out of your hand.."

The advice worked well enough to make Jennifer understand. Her instincts told her the early work, the better.

Dropping thousands of muddles emotions, she knew that it was only to express, not to expect anything in return.

With a faint smile appearing on her lips, her eyes turned into a crystal-shaped, "Alright!"

"I will express my feelings tonight when we return to his family mansion.."

….

The morning arrived and everyone was aware earlier than expected. Hannah and Jennifer were too retarded back to their campground where they woke everyone.

Side by side, each person took a bath and got ready for the next day, which was nothing else but horse riding!

Wearing jeans, with a light t-shirt, Jennifer was ready to ride the horse but inside she was deadly afraid!

"I.. told him that I want to ride.. but why do I feel nervous.." mumbling between her breaths, she took deep breaths to calm herself.

At this point, she started regretting her decision to actually ride a horse, But now the deeds were done!

The horses were brought by none other than Javier, Charles, and Ellen.

In total, there were five horses which were decided to sit by two people each.

As they brought horses to the campground, Jennifer's eyes caught the glimpse of the white horse and the brown horses. "They.. look harmless, but are they?" Her eyes tied Javier with a questionable look.

"Well, they do. From the place we brought him, are somewhere from which we have been renting for quite some time. Right, Ellen?" Javier looked at Ellen who ended up nodding his head in agreement.

Hearing their statement, Jennifer was a little bit relaxed but her heart was already pounding at high speed. 'How will.. I sit on that?' It was a big question but somehow, Javier sensed her worry without uttering a single word.

"It's alright, I will help you sit on that. I will be with you, riding along so you need not think about being alone on this...." His words added balm to her uneasy heart.

Biting her lower lip, Jennifer made her way towards the high and mighty horse, to caress its fur which was soft to touch.

"Please dear horse, I'm a good person and I don't know how to ride.... don't let me fall, okay?" Her childish nature, which was afraid and everyone laughed.

Ignoring all of their teases, she gave a sweet smile to the horse to which his tail shook slightly.

But at the same time, Emily who recently showed up at the campground to hear Javier's words were already firing.

Walking towards him, she held his hands tenderly to gain his attention in her direction.

"But dear.. I also don't know how to ride a horse.. won't you help me too?"

"Oh I guess Mr. Brown has the experience of this too, doesn't he? He won't deny helping Emily, as I know about his supportive nature towards girls.. Right, Mr. Austin?"
