The Kidnapped Bride

Chapter 154 - A Silent Promise!

Jennifer asked with uncertainty in her voice but in return, Javier gave her a confirmed smile, "I will. There ks no doubt about that."

At last, Jennifer didn't say anything further and simply attacked him with her bear hug.

Pressing her head against his warm chest, she controlled her tears, and tried her best to supress the feeling of something letting go.

Wrapping her hands around his body, her grip was firm.

Eventually, a sigh escaped her lips since she has no intention of letting him go.

Yet, if not for the messy circumstances, she wouldn't have permitted him to leave her all alone in this villa itself.

Javier didn't step back either. Since her emotions made her react in this manner, he had no objection until and unless she is safe and secure.

"Shh… It will go smoothly as always. Lucas has no standing to attack us."

"We… can't.. take any kind of risk. Lucas is a snake.." Jennfier mummerered in her timid voice but Javier shook his head on her comment.

"He might be a snake but he doesn't know.. how to be courageous enough. All he can do is to vent out his anger on those people who are lower than him, nothing more or less."

Totally agree in her heart. Jennifer knew how that bastard functioned and his mind was a playground for risk and planning plotting.

Somehow she considred Javier to be a smart person, who takes every possible into counts before stepping in the battleground.

Somehow, she knew fear was constantly crashing her, what if he doesn't return back?

'No Jennifer! He will definitely come back. He has made a promise to you… a silent promise..' she told her heart.

But only if he will keep that promise of his... she was totally not dependent on him for his own security!

The two of them were hugging each other, standing in each other's embrace when the sound from behind entered from behind, "JAVIER! ITS THE TIME!"

Javier sneaked from the corner of his eyes, behind his shoulder to see his brother indicating that it was time to leave for the place, in order to meet Lucas as early as possible.

Seeing the two of them in a kind of intimate position, Charles immediately left after informing Javier.

Leaving the couple alone, he let out a tired sigh, 'Two of them… started in the garden... ugh! Lord, we have singles too in this house!'

Meanwhile, Jennifer too, heard what Charles spoke.

Keeping a hard stone on her heart, she parted herself from his body and gazed at his face with deep longingness.

She doesn't know if this was all because of his departure or due to the nervousness, about what she was planning to do behind his back?

Javier didn't leave her instantly. Instead, he cupped her face lighty with his soft hands, lifting her chin to make her look into his eyes, "No need to be afraid. Nothing will happen to me. I'm repeating...nothing will happen."

"Keep a smile on your face AS ALWAYS and relax in the house. We will be back till evening." with this, he brought his lips near her forehead, leaving a forehead kiss to ease her anxious heart.

Feeling his soft lips on her forehead, she closed her eyes to capture the sensing of his lips against her skin.

With all the leftover courage, her hands already converted into a fist to not let her tears fall out of her eyes

Her fingers were digging deep into her hand, not letting her weakside to appear. No, she can't let herself be at her weakest point.

Rather, she needed all the courage in this world, after recalling her next plans..

At last, Javier proceeded to go back to the villa and went to his father and brother.

At the same time, Jennifer, who was standing in the large garden all by herself, felt her heart squeezing constantly.

'I don't know how will you will react after what I will do today Javier. Probably, you will not get angry.. hopefully.' Her plotting wasn't simple either.

The stubbornness she has, might make her cost her own life yet se wasn't willing to leave him all alone.

"You will get angry too.." but only if he finds out about her deed.

If she executed everything perfectly, there are slim chances of getting caught and completing her mission too.

She was standing in daze for long, as her gaze never tore from the direction in which Javier left.

Garrderner approached her and his voice brought her out from her thoughts, "Miss? The flowers…"

Stumbling back, she stared at the flwoers which were wet but needed more moisture.

The bucket already slipped from her hand and knew that, her work was left in the middle. "Oh… I remembered that I have some work today. If you don't mind, can you do the rest of it! I know I asked to do it by myself but.."

"It's alright. I.will do it as it is my work. It was nice that someone from the family was encouraged to work by my side. Good to have you here, Miss." The gardener was cute and old and the smile on his face was genuine one.

Handing he water bucket back to the man, Jennifer walked back in the villa.

This time, instead of moving in the direction of her room, she changed her movement. Walking through the gardens, she approached the route of the garden which also leads tot he main entrace where the large cars were present.

Peaking at the cars from behind the walls, she was amazed to witness that there were in total ten cars which were ready to be driven.

"Looks like the others.. didn't come till now." As her eyes surveyed the entire campus she didn't find any single person who was going to go.

Her mind suddenly understood that the men must be under talking

"This will be the right time in the absence of anyone…"
