The Indifferent Young Master’s Flash Marriage

Chapter 261 - The Husband Following What The Wife Says

Chapter 261: The Husband Following What The Wife Says

Seeing Jiang Xuecheng applying medicine for her seriously, Su Wan’s heart softened. Her heart was like a blooming flower, overflowing with joy.

She could sense clearly that the man’s eyes were filled with gentle devotion.

Su Wan examined Jiang Xuecheng’s handsome face at close range and her heart suddenly throbbed. To cover up her spacing out, she started to banter.

“Xuecheng, how nice would it be if I had no scars left after injuries, just like you.”

A faint smile appeared on Jiang Xuecheng’s face. He first applied the ointment on Su Wan’s hand carefully. Then, he put on bandage for her.

“If this ability of mine could be transferred, I’m willing to transfer it to you but too bad it’s out of my control.”

Su Wan shrugged and her face was full of banter. She immediately barred her teeth and glared at Jiang Xuecheng. “Enough of your showing off. Be careful or I’ll hit you.”

Jiang Xuecheng couldn’t help laughing. He hit her head gently.

“You’re so petite. You’d better go over there to cool off.”

Su Wan rolled her eyes and saw Jiang Xuecheng keeping the first aid kit into the drawer in the living hall.

She had to admit that Jiang Xuecheng looked like a young master who did not have to do anything personally but in reality, he was more meticulous than she was. In front of Jiang Xuecheng, Su Wan would always feel ashamed.

Su Wan looked at Jiang Xuecheng who was walking toward her and suddenly, she had an unreal feeling.

She probably felt lucky and a vague sense of helplessness when a man who was perfect in every aspect loved her.

Because of love, she was afraid to lose him.

Su Wan felt her marriage was worthwhile because she could be tied to such a man for her entire life.

She hoped they could remain like this. It was not because he couldn’t part with her but her life was all around this man named Jiang Xuecheng.

“What are you thinking again?”

Jiang Xuecheng took out two bottles of cold milk from the refrigerator and passed one to Su Wan.

“Wan Wan, for your parents’ case, you don’t have to go personally. We could engage an agent to attend on your behalf.”

Was he afraid she would get hurt like today again when she faced Su Jiankai and Su Yurou?

Su Wan was stunned. Suddenly, she felt very touched. She was silent for a moment and a smile appeared on her delicate face.

“Okay, I’ll listen to you.”

Su Wan had shown plenty of evidence in this trial. Even if Su Jiankai wanted to defend himself, he had to find reasons to refute the evidence.

At present, Su Jiankai’s conviction seemed to be around the corner.

Jiang Xuecheng smiled. He peeled a hazelnut and handed it to Su Wan. Then, he touched her head gently.

“That’s what you said. If you, being the wife, do not follow what your husband says in the future, I’ll bring out the promise you made today.”

Su Wan put the hazelnut into her mouth. Then, she moved her chin. “You’re outdated. Wives following what the husband says isn’t in trend anymore. I think a husband following what his wife says would be better.”

Seeing Su Wan’s arrogance, Jiang Xuecheng gave a soft smile. He peeled another hazelnut for Su Wan smilingly.

“Yes, Madam Wan Wan, what would you like me to do?”

Su Wan glared at him when she was addressed respectfully by him. “You’re not sincere at all.”

“How should I say it to be considered sincere?”

Jiang Xuecheng narrowed his eyes and locked his gaze on Su Wan. Su Wan, on the other hand, tilted her head and was preparing to come up with a good plan for her husband training.

In the end, her body floated. Jiang Xuecheng had carried her up from the sofa!

Suddenly, Jiang Xuecheng’s pleasant breath hovered between her nostrils. Su Wan’s eyes widened…

She hit Jiang Xuecheng’s shoulders hard and with a displeased look, demanded, “Hey, what are you doing?”

A trace of flame flashed through Jiang Xuecheng’s dark eyes. A light, alluring smile made its way forward.

“Since you think just uttering words isn’t sincere, as your husband, I’ll have to prove my loyalty through my actions.”

Jiang Xuecheng’s voice was low and hoarse. As Su Wan listened, she blushed.

“But…I just came back from the court and I’ve not taken my shower…”

Jiang Xuecheng stared at Su Wan. Before waiting for her to finish talking, he sealed her lips.

He was indeed a clean freak but since the day he got together with Su Wan, this disorder of his seemed to disappear automatically.

For example, when he woke up in the morning, he didn’t mind kissing her before she brushed her teeth.

Losing her balance, Su Wan could only hold on to Jiang Xuecheng to avoid from falling. She blinked and for a moment, she didn’t know if she should be bashful or angry.

However, apart from embarrassment, there was a trace of joy gradually rising from the bottom of her heart.

Even though she wanted Jiang Xuecheng to pay attention to his work and not on her, she was extremely touched when Jiang Xuecheng cared about her.

Su Wan spaced out as she looked at the handsome face so close to her. Then, she wrapped her arms around his neck and took the initiative to entangle him.

Jiang Xuecheng’s dark eyes were as deep as the sea. When he saw Su Wan’s passionate response, there was a ray of surprise in his eyes. He deepened the kiss.

He hugged Su Wan tightly and carried her directly up the stairs.

Jiang Xuecheng pressed the button on the remote controller and the silk curtains on the windowsill of the bedroom came down automatically. The entire room darkened.

Jiang Xuecheng placed Su Wan down gently and then gave Su Wan a kiss on the face…

After quite some time, Su Wan awoke in a daze. She saw Jiang Xuecheng looking at her sleepy face seriously by her side.

Su Wan blushed. She nestled against him, like a kitten in its owner’s arms. She switched to a comfortable position and didn’t wish to move further.”

For a moment, no one talked. In the silence, Su Wan could hear his heartbeat. Every sound seemed to have been imprinted in her heart.

When Jiang Xuecheng saw Su Wan’s languid and charming manner, he couldn’t help stretching out his finger to tap Su Wan’s nose.

“Are you hungry? Do you want me to cook something for you?”

Su Wan shook her head in Jiang Xuecheng’s embrace. She yawned with her eyes half close.

“I’m not hungry but I’m still sleepy and wish to continue sleeping for a little while more.”

Jiang Xuecheng looked at his watch and sighed helplessly and dotingly.

“Alright then, take another half-hour nap. I’ll cook some porridge for you.”

These few days, Su Wan had been busy with her parents’ murder case and was in a tense state of mind. Even her sleep time had reduced a lot compared to last time.

Now that the first trial was over, it took off one thing from her mind. She could finally rest properly for a while.
