“His attack damage and speed has increased, and he also has a Lifesteal effect, but I don’t know how long it lasts,” Lu Li said, feeling like a toothache was coming on.

He had a bad feeling about this. Surely a club like Wings of Dawn wouldn’t try such an off-meta build. However, he remembered encountering Elevenless in the Shadow Cup. That time, he was wearing the Archaedas Berserker Set, which also proved quite the challenge to overcome.

Moreover, he had heard of a level 65 set in his previous life.

If he was correct, it should be Alfred’s Ingot-Handler Set. This could only be acquired from a private Instance Dungeon in the Hinterlands. It had a very low drop-rate and there were barely a dozen of those Instance Dungeon scrolls, so obtaining the set was quite unlikely.

Alfred was a master blacksmith for the Titans, and he was particularly known for this meticulously created and exceptionally durable items.

His father was Aman’Thul, King of the Titans, while his mother was Eonar, Guardian of the Order and Protector of all Life.

However, when he was born, he only had half of his body – one eye, one arm and one leg. It was as if he had been split in half. As such, he was abandoned by his parents in a land densely packed with dangerous animals. Young Titans were normally unable to survive this environment.

Against all odds, Alfred survived tenaciously with his incredible vitality.

On that planet, he found an extremely tough metal and spent thousands of years studying its characteristics. He managed to forge the other half of his body with this unique metal and had since become a complete Titan.

However, his abandonment continued to a source of enmity for him.

Afred used the metal to forge a headpiece and dedicated it to his biological mother, Eonar. This headpiece was very beautiful, but immediately after wearing it, it turned into a net that covered Eonar’s head.

The net was tight and couldn’t be removed.

Many Titans gathered in the temples, but no one could rescue Eonar.

Golganneth was the other son of Aman’Thul and Eonar. He inquired behind the scenes and discovered that this had been caused by his own brother. He eventually found his brother and begged for forgiveness on behalf of their parents. After some time, he eventually managed to move Alfred.

Alfred was reunited with his parents and returned to be a part of the Temple.

There were a total of six items in the Ingot-Handler set, each of which had the same special effect that could be stacked. When the user’s HP was reduced to a certain level, they would gain a strong attack and defence buff in addition to Lifesteal.

This set’s Defense was already incredibly high, and could be considered overpowered.

Lu Li had never thought about collecting so many Instance Dungeon scrolls, but Wings of Dawn had probably set up infrastructure to mass produce them.

As for how they should deal with this set…

“Brother Qiu, you should get in there,” Lu Li instructed Mu Qiu, while gathering some other players to make preparations.

Mu Qiu saw the whole process of Moonlight’s defeat and knew he didn’t stand much of a chance. His only hope was to kill Elevenless as quickly as possible.

Unfortunately, it turned out that he was thinking too much.

He ended up repeating Moonlight’s tragedy, and both of them were killed by Elevenless.

After Elevenless killed two players in a row, he couldn’t help but gloat a little.

“What about Lu Li? Why haven’t you appeared yet? I want you to kneel down before me and call me dad.”

“I don’t understand – if Elevenless had such good equipment, why would he wait until now to use it?” Square Root 3 questioned as he rushed over. He had mobilised the entire guild to collect all the equipment that Lu Li needed.

“It’s very simple – it’s all because of the level debuff. When the top 100 is determined or when it is time for the finals, everyone will be at level 70. If you were wearing level 65 equipment at that time, you would just be asking for it,” Lu Li explained while changing his equipment.

After putting on a whole bunch of equipment, Lu Li almost had a set of his own.

As far as the match was concerned, Ruling Sword was definitely going to lose. However, Lu Li just couldn’t stand being picked on by Elevenless.

If Elevenless won, Ruling Sword would have become a stepping stone for Wings of Dawn. Elevenless would also have killed Moonlight, Mu Qiu and Lu Li in succession, which would probably make this the peak of his career so far.

While the individual rounds were going, if no one entered the arena within the 30 second window, then the opponent would considered to have abstained.

Lu Li obviously didn’t have the option of abstaining. He was standing opposite from Elevenless and entered the arena at the last moment with two daggers in hand. He had a dignified look on his face.

Elevenless’ HP was at 13%. His set took effect at 10% HP, but none of that mattered because he could regenerate his HP.

“Haha, I thought you would be too scared to turn up,” Elevenless laughed. He elated to see Lu Li.

Since his debut, no one had made Elevenless die in every encounter like Lu Li had. After all, he often would play the Warrior-like profession in games, which might not have the strongest damage, but they didn’t have the weakest survivability either.

“Unexpectedly, you guys have done a good job with the equipment,” Lu Li said sincerely.

As they approached max-level at level 70, there were many level 70 items beckoning to the players. However, it took a special dedication to acquire that much equipment from a private Instance Dungeon.

“Hehe, were you surprised?” Elevenless laughed.

“It doesn’t matter anyway, since the team round won’t be a problem,” Lu Li said indifferently.

“Does it really not matter? Would it matter if you didn’t get a single point today?” Elevenless retorted. “You should express your emotions. Don’t pretend like you don’t care.”

“Ahem, let’s get started. I’m guessing that the commentators are already talking about how we are in love or something,” Lu Li urged.

Lu Li first entered into Stealth, and Elevenless waved his equipment around. His equipment actually looked quite ragged from the outside, and you couldn’t tell that it was the Ingot-Handler Set. Surely if it really was made of this special metal, it should look quite formidable.

“How about I stand here and wait for you to attack me?” Elevenless called as he turned around, trying to work out Lu Li’s whereabouts.

Although he wouldn’t die if he was attacked by Lu Li, that wouldn’t be a great performance. He wanted to decisively kill Lu Li before the eyes of all these spectators.

“You think you can hide?”

Lu Li put Elevenless under crowd-control and started dealing damage to him.

“Ouch, Lu Li you’re hurting me… but only a little bit? You’re just tickling me.”

Elevenless was startled at first, but found that Lu Li’s attacks didn’t do much damage to him.

Compared to Moonlight and Mu Qiu, a Thief should definitely have been doing more damage.

Moonlight could hit him for over 300 damage and Mu Qiu could hit him for about 200 damage. However, Lu Li’s damage was outrageously low. He was only dealing 30 to 40 points of damage, which was definitely not the amount that Thieves usually dealt.
