When they moved around, a ring of people were sent flying.

“What a shock. What a nice surprise.”

The mechanical monster spoke in a sophisticated voice. Fat Monkey really hated interesting quirks.

It really was a shock, but it wasn’t a pleasant surprise at all.

“Fel…Fel Rea…rea…reaver.”

Jade Flower Lover dumbly looked at the colossus in front of his eyes. There was a sort of cold, bone-slicing shriek, a kind of hopeless cry.

Fat Monkey’s fist sent a charging idiot flying. This idiot actually still had a bit of HP left; it was just a shame that he had landed in a problematic place.

He landed in a group of people, but not one of this group of people were his allies.

The game made it difficult for players to one-shot-kill other players. Even if they could do this, there was a very small chance of it happening. Since a Fel Reaver was a tool that players could be ‘equipped’ with, they had this same quality about them too.

However, the shock that this brought wasn’t only limited to damage.

Everyone who came to the Outlands stood a respectful distance away from the Fel Reaver, but for those who didn’t get the warning, or those who didn’t believe it, they would never forget their experience of being of being crushed underfoot.

Why would something from a nightmare appear in a Stronghold battle?

This wasn’t the most frightening thing though. The most frightening thing was that this Fel Reaver was on a team with Ruling Sword. This left Jade Flower Lover ridiculously dumbfounded.

People said that both great joy and great grief damaged you. This was exactly what Jade Flower Lover was experiencing right now.

“What is this?” Most people on their own team didn’t have any idea. They knew nothing about this beforehand.

Most of them had gotten the help of the Life Alliance, and they had maintained stable cooperative relationships with them. It wasn’t the sort of fickle, transactional relationship. As such, no matter how tough the battle situation was, they didn’t give up lightly.

All of these men were brothers.

“Fel Reaver,” Wandering said with a smirk, “We prepared a nice surprise for those idiots.”

Fat Mokey began to chase after and kill those Blood Red War Flag players that had already entered the Stronghold walls. He wasn’t fighting by himself. His allies were working with him, and very soon, they finished cleaning up those who had charged in, leaving behind an absolute mess on the ground.

“Are they still going to come?” Fat Monkey asked.

Wandering suddenly became angry and scolded him.

“What did I say to you?! You have to give them hope. If you’ve gone and killed them like this, what damn hope do they have…”

“Um, I just got a bit excited and hot-headed,” Fat Monkey said sheepishly.

“Take your head home then,” Wandering laughed coldly.

However, Jade Flower Lover and the rest of them finally did arrive. Regardless of whether they were happy or not to lose, they still couldn’t retreat like this.

Otherwise, it would be recorded in gaming history that Ruling Sword met Blood Red War Flag in battle, and in under half the allocated time, easily defeated them. Blood Red War Flag would never recover from this point onwards.

Wanting to die but not able to – this was all they could do. Besides, they had proudly and boldly spread the message that they were just sending their kids to go up first.

The only person who might still have been able to toughen up and go all in was Unforgettable Maple.

A group of players rushed into the Stronghold yet again with great force. Then, they were faced with another round of death. Actually, anyone intelligent player would know that rushing in with this sort of force was just doing the bare minimum. Evidently, this group of people had already given up on victory.

“Monkey, do you want to die?” Wandering hissed through clenched teeth.

“Me again? What did I do?”

Fat Monkey was about to cry. Everyone in the club knew that the person you didn’t want to offend, well, it definitely wasn’t Lu Li.

Although Lu Li was petty, resentful and liked to publicly air his grievances, he wasn’t very smart. Wandering wasn’t like that. Not only was Wandering resentful, but he was smart. If he wanted to mess with you, he could send you to the grave and back.

“Don’t you know that you’re using up Strengthening Stones even just to walk around. When we get back, I’m gonna strip you of your driving qualification!” Wandering threatened.

“I messed up; I won’t do it again. I’ll definitely use less, and at key moments I’ll give the opponents some hope while I’m at it.”

Most guys dreamt of having a Reaver, and Fat Monkey definitely didn’t want to lose his license to drive it.

“Hey, their Reaver isn’t working. Is it dead?”

Someone quickly noticed that that frightening Fel Reaver seemed to have stopped shooting. It just stood there, not moving.

“Wait, I feel like it looks like we have a chance. The game can’t come up with things that are too ridiculous, otherwise, there would be no way to play,” Jade Flower Lover reasoned.

“I think this Reaver is pretty sturdy; it won’t be ruined unless it’s really taken a beating. Secondly, it definitely needs some sort of motivation – it can’t be attacking for nothing. Also, it probably needs to take a rest – see, it looks like it’s really tired.”

“Yeah, yeah.”

“Our bro Jade Flower Lover’s right.”

“So we can’t just be doing the bare minimum in our fighting. I’m guessing that this Fel Reaver is worth heaps. If it’s destroyed, it’ll make Lu Li run home and cry in Water Fairy’s arms,” Jade Flower Lover said happily.

“If I had a girlfriend to hug, I’d be willing to cry too,” Elevenless mumbled.

“Ahem, Eleven, what’s up with you? Relationships don’t really matter.”

“The game’s not fun enough for you? How come you keep on going on about a girlfriend all day?”

“All you people, you say these nice things, but how come you all have girlfriends?” Elevenless cried out.

“Ahem, Eleven, go on up and destroy that stronghold. Don’t forget you’re still risking that two million. If you lose, you’re going to have nothing left.”

After a period of calm, Blood Red War Flag and their allies finally launched a new wave of attacks.

“Monkey, run!” Wandering shouted.

“Huh? Why do I have to run? I can fight them!”

Fat Monkey was a strong-headed person by nature, let alone when he was controlling the Fel Reaver.

“It’s called acting! Don’t you get it, you idiot?”

Wandering was so furious he was physically in pain.

Fat Monkey finally understood and pretended to run away in defeat.

As soon as Blood Red War Flag’s people saw that the Fel Reaver was provoked, they immediately felt in high spirits. Each one went over as quickly as they could.

The situation outside had the odds stacked against Blood Red War Flag, but now, they weren’t completely in the favor of the Life Alliance either. After all, the Fel Reaver looked rather volatile – sometimes it was unstoppable, and other times it appeared weak. No one was sure who would claim victory in this war.
