Chapter 89 - Windfall

Chapter 89: Windfall

Time flew by, and five hours passed by, the group of Mark, Bisal, Bislo, and Pento were forced out of Panagea, and a few seconds later, Maria also joined them in the store.

Aakesh was resting as he hadn't got any new customers during these past five hours. He didn't care for their spawning, so he still didn't open his eyes.

"We'll be able to complete the quest tomorrow!" Mark happily exclaimed as the addition of Pento truly benefited them. The rate at which they were killing metal wolves was tens of times faster than without Pento.

During the five hours Pento had joined them, the group killed around 800 metal wolves, while the seven hours they had fought without Pento, they had only killed around 70 metal wolves and died more than a hundred times combined.

Their quest was different from Aakesh's. He had to reduce the number of casualties of the guards of Wolfden by at least 25%, whereas the group got the quest not to let the metal wolves breach the gate of the Gandoline.

Since Gandoline was the town of Elves and they were innately stronger than several races, they were able to handle the assault of the wolves and not let them breach the gate, however with the passing of time, the Elves were getting on the weaker side, but the appearance of Pento provided some relief to them.

An unsightly expression appeared on Maria's face after hearing the happiness in Bisal's voice. She still was very far from completing her quest. She had appeared in the town of Atley, the town of Vehivavy.

Vehivavy was a race that only had females in their midst. They didn't need a male to reproduce. They could procreate on their own without any sexual activity.

There was a sudden attack of raiders on Atley, and she got the quest to save as many women and children as possible. If she protected more than 100 women and children combined until the end of the raid, only then would her mission be successful. She would get a female physique as a reward to complete this difficult quest.

But in the twelve hours, she had spent in Panagea, she had only been able to save two children, and the raid would be over after five days. The only saving grace for her was that she felt that she was improving in real-time.

The people in the store then started leaving as they didn't want to disturb Aakesh, but Pento stayed and didn't leave.

He then stood in the store for Aakesh to open his eyes, not daring to disturb him. Aakesh could see Pento in the store despite his eyes being closed, but he didn't open his eyes.

He only opened his eyes after Pento stood there for around ten minutes. "What do you want?" He then expressionlessly asked as he looked at him.

"Senior, can I become a king in that world?" He asked as he had been having this question since Pento witnessed that he couldn't die in Panagea.

"You can be anything you want," Aakesh expressionlessly responded.

A smile spread across Pento's face after he got the confirmation from Aakesh. "Thank you, Senior. I'll be right back with my guards," He said with a slight bow as he left the store.

He can make his guards stronger in the game, and then he would gain support from them in Panagea as well as in the Bisan Kingdom. How can he let this chance go, he thought and rushed toward his place.

Aakesh had no reaction to Pento's leaving as it would be better for him the more guards Pento brings, the easier it would be for him to complete the quest.

Only half an hour had passed when Aakesh heard the sound of footsteps. He looked at his door and found several people entering the store. Aakesh knew who they were as Pento was leading the group.

There were a group of ten guards behind Pento. Aakesh expressionlessly looked at them, while on the inside, he was excited as he would only be eight more customers away from completing his quest after the guards entered Panagea.

"Senior, would they enter Gandoline if they entered the world of Panagea?" Pento asked, seeing Aakesh expressionlessly staring at the group.

"Only If you entered with them," Aakesh expressionlessly responded.

Aakesh nodded and paid for an hour for everyone and took them to the portal room and entered. Pento had already informed his guards everything, so they only followed orders and didn't care for anything else.

The next moment, Pento with his four guards appeared at the exact location where Pento had spawned in his first entry into Panagea.

Pento had no idea that adding adventurers would exponentially increase the strength and numbers of metal wolves, making the quest even harder.

The next moment, he, with his guards, logged out. He then took another four guards and entered the portal. After that, the group logged out again. He then entered the virtual portal with the last two guards.

This time he didn't come out until his one hour was complete. While he was in fighting, his quota of six hours ended, and he was forced out of Panagea while his two guards fought the wolves.

He only had to wait for a few minutes when the two guards were also forced out since Pento had only paid for an hour.

"Okay, you would lead this group of four people while you'll lead this group of people," Pento commanded as he divided the group of ten members into five with the guards that had already spent an hour leading each group.

"Senior, they would each spend three hours in Panagea," Pento told Aakesh as he handed 750 inferior Primal stones to him.

Aakesh nodded and took the Primal stones. Both the group wanted to go first, so Pento had to select the group that would enter Panagea before the other.

Time flew by, and six hours passed. Pento had already left after he paid for the group. The group that entered first were making strategies for their tomorrow fight against wolves in the store since they had already spent their three hours in Panagea when the other group spawned.

The group of guards then bowed toward Aakesh and left the store.
