Chapter 536

Chapter 536: Hard Work and Its Fruit!

When the energy beam was about to touch the ground, the grey-colored light dots had a slight movement, but things didn’t go as per Aakesh’s expectation.

The grey-colored light dots only looked like they would move away, but nothing of such sort happened.

The ground stayed a hard surface, and not long after, the red beam clashed with it.

“Boom!”

The next moment, a sound of an explosion rang in the area. No dust or cloud erupted as, despite the blast, the ground seemed unaffected.

Aakesh didn’t care for it as he was thinking about something else.

Aakesh’s attack didn’t make the grey-colored light dots move away to turn the ground into a rubbery surface. But Aakesh knew his conjectures of attack turning the ground weren’t wrong since he had caught a slight movement of the earth elements when the beam was to touch.

Aakesh now has to think of a reason for the earth element showing slight movement, but not a complete one.

Aakesh had two conjectures for the reason behind the situation in his mind. First, the attack wasn’t strong enough to make the ground feel danger from it and turn into a rubbery surface. Second, the attack type was different.

The red beam Aakesh used was an elemental form of attack.

After thinking for a while, Aakesh removed the second conjecture from his mind since when the beam, an elemental attack, was on the verge of crashing to the ground, the grey-colored light dots had made a slight movement.

Aakesh decided not to wait for long and check the first conjecture.

Still seated on his chair, Aakesh raised his hand, with his palm facing the sky.

Soon, a white energy ball started growing from just a dot.

It was a rotating ball that consisted of the element of air, and it was Autumn who had taught her this skill. It wasn’t her bloodline-gained skill but some of the ordinary skills she had gotten from one of her subordinates.

The skill had a simple principle behind it. Using the offensive property of the element of the air, Aakesh would create a rotating energy ball.

If the ball spun clockwise, it meant that it was stable and wouldn’t explode, but if it rotated anti-clockwise, it wasn’t stable and would explode just at the first touch or if the owner lost their control.

It had a simple principle behind it and wasn’t one of those flashy skills, but still, Aakesh liked it.

The rotating energy ball in Aakesh’s hand rotated anti-clockwise as what Aakesh wanted was an unstable attack that would explode with some intensity.

After the white rotating ball grew to the size of Aakesh’s head, Aakesh decided to stop adding any more energy to it. Since Aakesh also had to take the attack getting thrown back at him with an unprecedented force in the picture, Aakesh allowed the ball to grow only to the range where he was comfortable with the counter.

Aakesh had an expressionless face as he casually threw the ball at the same spot where he had struck with the red beam.

“BOOM!”

The next moment, an explosion louder than before rang in the area. Even though the attack was more powerful than before, it still failed to create a dust cloud or even slightly affect the ground.

If Aakesh were to compare the power gap between both of his attacks, the red beam would be 1, and the rotating energy ball would be 7, and yet what Aakesh saw through his eyes didn’t make sense to him.

When the rotating ball was on the verge of crashing to the ground, the grey-colored light dots had made movement, but similar to the last time, it stopped straight away.

It wasn’t what that made Aakesh feel surprised but the amount of movement the grey-colored light dots had made. It was strikingly similar to the last time.

Aakesh then pointed his index finger toward the same spot again as another red beam originated from it and crashed on the ground.

The beam was the weakest Aakesh could go with the skill, but Aakesh found that even with this kind of power, where the beam wasn’t even sufficient to create an explosion, the grey-colored light dots had made the same amount of movement as the last two times.

Aakesh still had an expressionless face, but his eyes gave him away. Even an ordinary person could sense that Aakesh was thinking something after seeing Aakesh’s eyes.

Aakesh suddenly stopped thinking and decided to test something funny.

Aakesh inhaled a deep breath for a moment and then exhaled with half his strength, creating a storm around him.

Aakesh wasn’t checking the storm he had created, but the scene he could see when the skill ‘Energy Overseer’ was active.

‘As expected,’ Aakesh thought since even this time, the grey-colored light dots had made the same amount of movement.

“What does this world want?” Aakesh mumbled as he looked around him.

The stairs still stayed far from him in all directions.

After appearing here, Aakesh could see the scenes of the grey-colored light dots moving away from each other whenever he was going to put his foot down and turn the ground into a rubbery surface. And how he was able to step on the land without getting thrown back in the limited window when the grey-colored light dots were returning closer to each other. Considering these factors, Aakesh could guess that the world was solely prepared for him.

Anyone other than him would only get thrown back since they wouldn’t have the Energy Overseer with them.

Now, Aakesh desired to see what more this world wanted from him since his intuition told him that he would be able to find a way to step on the ground.

‘Should I use my full-powered attack?’ A thought suddenly emerged in Aakesh’s head.

Since it was his gut feeling giving him suggestions, Aakesh decided not to ignore it and test it.

In all the three attacks Aakesh had released, the most strength he had used was around three percent, so Aakesh thought of whether he should use his ultimate attack, Apocalyptic Blast, with his full power or should he use his full strength in any skill.

Aakesh didn’t think much and decided to first use his full power in any skill since he wanted to test something.

The next moment, he pointed his finger at the unfortunate spot that had already faced three attacks.

Not long after, red energy started gathering at the tip of his index finger.

If the previous energy beam was a drop of water, the current one was a raging tide spanning countless miles.

“BOOM!”

The next moment, an explosion louder than ever rang in the area. Unlike the last few times, a cloud rose in the air this time. Aakesh’s full-powered attack could cross the three billion Primal units mark with even a weak skill even with these restrictions on him, so the attack wasn’t any joke.

Aakesh didn’t care for the dust cloud as his eyes were focused on the ground.

His eyes were shining since he clearly saw the movement of the grey-colored light dots this time.

Aakesh also noticed a peculiar thing. Even though the surface had clearly turned elastic, it still didn’t throw the attack back at Aakesh since Aakesh was already ready for it and had covered himself with a three-layered Counter Shield.

Aakesh noticed another thing. The grey-colored light dots had moved even further than the time when they sensed Aakesh’s foot approaching it.

Aakesh decided to test again. He didn’t use the energy beam but raised his hands, with his palm facing the sky.

The next moment, a familiar white rotating ball appeared in his hands. It rotated clockwise this time.

Since Aakesh was going to use his full power, the stable mode would create more damage in comparison to when it was unstable.

Unlike in the unstable mode, the rotating ball didn’t grow in size, but only its rotating speed grew at an unprecedented rate.

Strangely a whistling sound emerged, and it grew louder with each passing moment as the rotating speed of the ball grew.

Soon, Aakesh stopped transferring any further energy to the rotating ball as he had reached his limit.

Since Aakesh had unlimited stamina, even after using his full power, it didn’t mentally tax him, so Aakesh stayed expressionless and casually threw the white rotating ball at the unfortunate spot again.

The white rotating ball flew toward the spot with lightning speed and crashed onto it.

Except for the whistling sound, no other sound emerged after the crash, even though a blinding white light had engulfed a few meters of the area around the spot.

Despite the blinding white light, Aakesh had no issues watching the scene of the ground in front of him as what he was seeing wasn’t physical but spiritual(Energy).

Similar to the last time, the grey-colored light dots had moved away from each other, and what Aakesh saw next proved his conjectures.

Since Aakesh couldn’t be sure, he decided to do another test.

He used the same skill again, but this time, he used 99.99999% of his strength. What Aakesh saw through the Energy Overseer proved his conjecture, and with it, Aakesh finally had ways to continue his journey to the stairs on this tumultuous ground without getting thrown back.

Aakesh still remembered that if he failed this time, the ground would throw him more than two hundred km back.
