Chapter 400: Conversation

After spots for Panagea got vacant, Aakesh told the around hundred new customers to go ahead.

The customers, after leaving Panagea, left the store one by one. A few of them stayed backward for they could see an addition into the counter of pills, and a few went for the weapons room.

Lenna was one such customer who stayed back, but her purpose was different from other customers. Her family members left the store using their supreme card while she approached Aakesh.

"Store owner, you remember the event I had talked about with you?" Lenna asked Aakesh.

Aakesh looked at her and expressionlessly nodded in response to her question.

"My grandmother told me that the event could be any day from now on," Lenna commented.

"It's tomorrow," Aakesh responded and told her the exact day for the event to occur.

A surprised expression appeared on Lenna's face behind her mask since not even her grandmother could pin the exact date. But after thinking about it for a while, it made sense to her. Aakesh had almost become a mighty figure belonging to a higher dimension in her and her family's heart, so something like calculating the exact day wasn't anything significant for Aakesh.

If Aakesh knew what Lenna was thinking, he would only scoff in response. The only reason he knew about the exact day of the event was because tomorrow was the day, Turta's mother had told the mysterious figure.

As for what the event was about and the role of Turta, he had no idea. He only knew two things. First, it was going to affect the entire dimension. Second, the boy Turta would be the key to initiating it.

"So, when do you want to leave?" Lenna asked. She had made a deal with Aakesh and another person, so how could she enter alone?

"After the sunset," Aakesh expressionlessly responded. No event was more important than the store for him, so he would never close the store for it.

Lenna nodded since she had expected such a casual attitude from Aakesh for the event.

"Thank you, store owner," Lenna then thanked Aakesh. Aakesh only expressionlessly nodded in response to her thanks.

She then used her supreme card and teleported to her home, where her parents and grandmother were waiting for her.

"Did you tell him? What was his reaction? Do you think he knows about the item?…?" Elasha bombarded her granddaughter with several questions at once, seeing Lenna returning.

Lenna could only smile wryly, seeing the hurried look on her grandmother's face.

"Grandma, the store owner even knew the day the event would occur…," Lenna then shared her complete discussion with Aakesh to her family members.

After Lenna left, the other customers approached Aakesh and learned about the newly added pills.

After Aakesh became free of customers, he decided to check on Turta and her mother.

He then activated the skill, Watcher. The next moment, a blue screen only visible to him appeared in front of him.

Soon, the screen lit up, and the current scene of Turta appeared in it.

"Mother, why do I feel so weak? Am I dying?" Turta asked Pucchi, lying on his bed.

There was a considerable difference between when he arrived in the store for the last time and today.

He had gotten thinner to such an extent that his skeletons could be clearly seen. It looked as if someone had put up a layer of skin on a skeleton. He could still walk, talk, or move, but he grew tired just by talking for a few seconds.

In addition to the weakness, physical pain spread across his body would continuously attack him, resulting in him not even being able to sleep.

"Please don't talk like that, Turta. Your mother is here. I would never let anything happen to you," Pucchi responded while a drop of tear streamed down her cheeks. Her expression was of someone who was trying very hard to stop themselves from crying.

"Please don't cry, mother," Turta, seeing a tear leaking from her mother's eyes, couldn't help but cry out.

The cry exhausted him to such an extent that his eyelids began weighing down on him, and a few moments later, he fell asleep.

Pucchi, seeing Turta falling asleep, took out a new needle from her space ring and took out 111 drops of his blood straight away.

A few minutes later, Turta woke up as the pain increased and woke him up. He looked even weaker than what he looked a moment earlier.

"Moth-" Turta wanted to speak something, but he couldn't gather enough strength to do it.

Pucchi's concern for his son turned one tear into several as she saw him in such a situation.

Turta felt his heart tearing into several pieces at that moment, seeing his mother crying.

Aakesh deactivated the skill, and the blue screen disappeared.

Seeing the condition of the boy, Aakesh knew that he wouldn't survive whatever may come tomorrow.

He then stopped thinking about it since it was tomorrow, and he already had things to do today.

Time flew by.

The quest of consecutive Panagea hours had begun with today. With so many virtual portals, the stay hour had exceeded 15,000. Now, Aakesh only needed this to continue for thirty straight days, and then there would be another addition of portals in the store.

Aakesh was relaxing on his chair when thousands of sudden teleportations occurred at once.

They were members of the Esh clan. When they began buying pills, they noticed that the number had increased.

Many of the Tao Manifestation level cultivators couldn't help but suck the cold breath of air, learning about the Tao Palace experience pill.

Like all the pills, it had a daily limit of three sales per person, meaning any being could experience nine seconds of becoming Tao Palace every day.

The price was hefty. But for the clan that had a supreme Primal stone mine, it wasn't something worth frowning.

After buying three pills belonging to each category, the members who hadn't entered Panagea took their turn.

Time flew by.

Seconds turned into minutes, minutes turned into hours, and just like that the remaining store time passed.

The sun had set in Visteerna.. There were only a few customers in the weapons room, while the virtual portals had only turned vacant a few minutes earlier after the customers had their hours completed.
