Maria was born to an affluent family in Pilni, one of the cities of the Bisan Kingdom. Her father was the head of the city guards. She and her family lived in luxury. Being a military child, her father taught her to never give up and always strive for improvement and positivity.

Everything in her life was turned down by a single person who arrived on Pilni a few years ago. Apparently, the man was the son of some high-ranking official in the Kingdom. Maria was thirty years of age that year. She had a pretty face and a desirable body. Since she was from a wealthy family, she always maintained her body, making her an otherworldly beauty.

Upon seeing her, the man asked her father for a price because he was so captivated by her looks. He wanted to buy her, but Maria's father beat him in response, only to leave Pilni alive when the city mayor personally intervened to save him.

From that moment, Maria's family's bad times started. Her father was humiliated and forced to give up his position. Everyone in the city blacklisted them. After their close relatives betrayed them and captured their property, they went from one of the wealthiest families to one of the poorest in less than a week.

It was only the start of the horror they were going to face. Maria's parents still had savings, so they decided to move into another city and start a new life. Her father was a Nascent Soul cultivator, so he could easily get a new job in any other city and then establish their family again.

They had already made plans to move into another city, but Maria's best friend betrayed her and told her enemy about their moving away from the city. That night, she and her parents were attacked.

Maria watched the scene of her parents getting killed while the man who tried to buy her laughed. After that, he raped her in front of everyone, and then using his knife, made a cut from right beneath her left breast to her private area.

"Always remember this cut and live with it until you die," The man told her after making the cut.

"Pl...please kill me," Maria pleadingly said. She didn't want to live anymore after such a humiliation.

"How would I feel better if you die?" The man replied with a cruel grin. He then fondled her left breast, making Maria groan in pain due to the cut.

"If you want to blame someone, blame your father. If he would've given you to me for a night, maybe he would've been promoted, and you would've become even more wealthy," The man said, and he left her naked lying on a pool of blood. After that day, she never saw the man again.

She stayed there naked for a week, thinking about dying every second, but her father's teachings always stopped her from attempting suicide. When she finally stood up, she decided to live for only revenge. But it seems her bad luck still hasn't left her away; she injured her dantian while attempting to reach Nascent Soul.

During the past few years, she tried everything to heal her dantian, but the pills that could help her were way too expensive. She could afford it if her parent's savings wouldn't have been stolen, but during that tragic day, everything that could go wrong with her went wrong. She also asked every relative for her, but they felt so disgusted to even look at her, let alone talk. The only money she had was from the money she had saved from her childhood.

A drop of tear streamed through her cheeks as she remembered all the tragedy that happened to her due to that bastard. She wiped the tear drop off and tried to smile.

"Remember what daddy taught, you can't give up. You've to look for only positivity in the future," She murmured to motivate herself.

After calming down, she went to the bathroom and washed her face. When she came out, she wore the same clothes back and went out.

The store owner has told about the compensation if the product doesn't work. It didn't matter what level the owner was. She had to get compensation.

When she entered the store, she saw the same scene of Aakesh playing with Lily.

Lily jumped on Aakesh's head when she saw Maria again. But Maria ignored her this time.

"What do you want to buy this time?" Aakesh asked as he stood up.

"I don't want to buy anything. I'm here for compensation. The pill didn't work," Maria nervously answered. She was nervous because if Aakesh refused to pay, she couldn't do anything but take it as another tragedy in her life.

"Are you sure?" Aakesh questioningly asked. He was sure that the system's product would always work.

"Yes!" Maria nervously replied, but her eyes held a determined look.

"Come here," Aakesh then called her.

Maria nervously went up to her. She had no idea what Aakesh wanted to do, but somehow she never doubted any bad intention.

Aakesh extended her right hand and touched right above her private parts. Maria's face got red, not due to embarrassment as she knew he did this to check up on her dantian. Her face became red due to him finding the repulsive scar on her body through his touch.

"Don't worry! I am just checking your dantian," Aakesh said as he used Qi to check up on her dantian.

Aakesh could use Qi, Prana, or Mana, etc., without following the respective power system because of the system. He had the freedom to use any energy in the primal dimension depending on his level.

The next moment, Aakesh retracted his hand. Red-faced Maria nervously stared at him, waiting for his answer.

"The pill worked," He then told her expressionlessly.

"But, It still hurts whenever I try to cultivate," Maria retorted, thinking that Aakesh didn't want to compensate her.

"It worked. Your Qi won't leak anymore. It will still take three pills for your dantian to completely heal," He explained.

Suddenly a voice echoed in the store, bringing the conversation between Aakesh and Lily to stop.
