The First Store System

863 A New Day for the Store(End)

Chapter 863: A New Day for the Store(End)

The system forced Garos and Elera out as their six hours were over in Panagea.

As Garos came out, he saw the unconscious Elera on the floor. He felt a pang in his heart after seeing her in this condition again.

Garos rushed to Elera and gently picked her up. His eyes contained hope and excitement. He hoped for the store to have pills, and he felt excited because he could meet Elera, who was perfectly healthy, during the six hours in Panagea.

Garos exited the room, as he couldn’t just carry Elera all day. She needed to rest in a comfortable spot.

When Garos popped out of the room, he found three people waiting not far from the door. He found them familiar but didn’t waste his time thinking about them. He then looked toward the store owner.

After seeing that the store owner was relaxing with closed eyes on his chair, Garos didn’t disturb Aakesh and left the store.

The three generals waiting for their turn in Panagea to arrive had shocked faces as they found Garos exiting the portal room. They then looked at each other, only to see that they all felt the same.

‘What absurdity is this?’ One of the generals thought in his heart that Aakesh was the killer of Garoun, and Garos was Garoun’s father.

What kind of father would patronize the business owned by the person who murdered his son?

Since two of the three virtual portals had turned empty after Garos and Elera left, the two generals stopped thinking about it and charged into the portal room as if they were going to a battle.

The remaining general silently stood there as he still had to wait for more than five hours for his turn to arrive. Since he had nothing to do currently, he began to think of random things like Aakesh’s background or how much compensation Garos paid to Aakesh.

Time flew by, and around an hour passed in a flash.

As usual, Aakesh was relaxing on his chair with his eyes closed due to not having any customers when he suddenly heard the sound of footsteps at the store’s gate.

Since every customer at this point was very valuable, Aakesh opened his eyes and looked in that direction.

Another familiar face welcomed his sight as the person stood at the gate, looking at the store while frowning. It was none other than the fourth general, the Thorron with the highest cultivation present that day.

Jemiah had a frown on his face as he looked at the store’s gate. He could see with his naked eyes that the store’s gates were open, but when he tried to see the content inside, he felt a blurry wall blocking his sight.

Jemiah had heard of arrays that could block the sight and hearing of outsiders, but those were rather expensive. He didn’t think he would come across one in a store here.

Still, those arrays couldn’t block him from checking what was going on inside, as he was only one step away from reaching the Divine Lord.

Jemiah decided to give it a try as he attempted to push his senses inside. Suddenly a headache attacked him, and he immediately took his senses back.

It didn’t even happen for one-tenth of a second, and yet Jemiah had a bead of sweat forming over his forehead. The moment was instantaneous, but it was still enough to force Jemiah into the gates of death.

Jemiah let out a big sigh of relief because it was just a questioning feeling and not a forceful intrusion. He didn’t even dare to imagine the consequences of forcefully intruding into the store.

The status of the store and the non-demon rose further in Jemiah’s heart after that. As he took a deep breath, he raised his right foot and stepped into the store.

Jemiah’s sight caught the familiar non-demon staring at him with his usual expression from that day. And when Jemiah tried to look around because he didn’t want to look straight toward Aakesh, he found a familiar sight in the store.

Seeing Jemiah look at him, the general nodded to greet Jemiah. Jemiah did the same and moved his eyes back to the store owner. He didn’t directly look at Aakesh, but at the chair.

Since Jemiah was already here, there was no point in greeting the non-demon.

“So this is the store you own,” Jemiah said as he reached Aakesh. His tone was neutral. Even though he was terrified of Aakesh and his background, he couldn’t bring himself to respect Aakesh because of his low cultivation level.

Aakesh noticed that the general was not directly looking at him. He didn’t care about what was going on in the general’s head, so he simply nodded in response.

“Oh, look at me; I forgot to introduce myself,” Jemiah suddenly said with an apology smile.

“I am Jemiah, one of the generals in Thorr city defense.”

“I am Aakesh,” Aakesh said flatly.

Jemiah then wasted time further talking about random things related to Aakesh and himself, and when he saw Aakesh’s complete disinterest in anything unrelated to the store, he finally asked Aakesh about the store’s products.

Time flew by, and after a few minutes, Jemiah also stood at the corner near the portal room, waiting for his turn to arrive.

After Jemiah joined the corner after paying his fee of thirty-five lesser Sacred stones, Aakesh called out the quest screen.

The next moment, a blue screen containing the details of the quest only visible to him appeared in front of him.

[Mission objective: Sell products to ten customers,

Requirement: You had four products in the Primal dimension, three of which are unlocked. Only the Panagea is currently active. Sell three Panagea hours or more to ten customers,

Time limit: Four Days,

Customers: 5/10,

Time left: Six days,

Mission reward: Activation of the other three products,

Failure punishment: Sales commission will get reduced to 2.5% of the product’s price for three years.]

Aakesh nodded as he looked at the screen. Since the system didn’t count the two generals who were still waiting to enter Panagea, the store had five customers. After counting the two generals, the store was only three customers away from achieving the condition.
