1272 Theodre’s Summoning(19)

Chapter 1272: Theodre’s Summoning(19)

Theodre moved out of the queue as the content on the screen was engraved in his mind. Another customer took his spot while Theodre focused on the content.

He couldn’t help but be surprised by the content on the screen. It showed the sequence he needed to train skills and attain complete mastery.

Theodre saw that if he followed the screen’s guidance, the training time would decrease by more than ten thousand years compared to the combined sum of training years for all five skills.

It wasn’t difficult for him to choose which way to go ahead. Even though Theodre was disappointed over the long duration of the training, the reduced years due to the sequence brought a smile to his face.

He then left the skill room and went toward the store owner. Aakesh was in conversation with another customer, so he joined the line, waiting for his turn.

His fortune seemed to be great as the conversation was in its last phase when he joined the queue and he got his turn only in a few seconds.

“Store owner, I want these five skills,” Theodre requested, handing the five skill cards to Aakesh.

Aakesh nodded and took the cards. The next moment, the purchase detail appeared in his mind.

“You need to pay two million, seven hundred twenty-five thousand, and nine hundred ninety supreme Sacred stones,” Aakesh expressionlessly informed Theodre.

Theodre nodded, and then he took three ultimate Sacred stones out. Aakesh refused before he could push the stones and then informed him of the store’s policy about the conversion rate as well as introduced the three store cards to him.

Theodre nodded, and instead of pushing three stones, he pushed one toward Aakesh.

Aakesh nodded and took the stone. He then repeated the process, and not long after, a card flew into his hands from the device.

Aakesh passed over the card to Theodre and informed him of what to do next.

Following Aakesh’s instruction, Theodre completed the blood binding of the Ultimate Store Card.

Theodre then stored a large number of ultimate Sacred stones in the space inside the card.

Soon after, an alert asking him about the payment rang in his head. Theodre responded with a yes, and soon the alert of the amount getting debited rang in his ears.

“The skills are yours…” Aakesh informed Theodre after he heard the system’s alert of the successful payment.

After the skill purchase was complete, Theodre decided to turn his attention to the next product, beasts.

Theodre then asked Aakesh questions about the Beast Summoner Device. After Theodre was satisfied with the answers, he thanked Aakesh and then went toward the room.

When he entered the room, the sight of numerous beast murals on the wall greeted his sight.

There were two pillars in the room; one was for low-level beasts, while the second was for mid-level beasts.

The one with low-level beasts had a long line of customers. Theodre focused on that and joined the queue.

Since each customer could only buy one beast from one pillar for life, Theodre decided to buy beasts from both of them.

Time flew by, and around an hour passed in the blink of an eye.

Theodre had summoned an ultimate quality Divine Lord beast, and he was joyous about it. He then joined the line of the second device.

There were only two customers ahead of him, so he got his turn without much waiting, like the first device.

Reaching the device, Theodre already had a beast in his mind, and he pressed the button.

The next moment, the square light began to rotate and kept at it for five seconds.

After the rotation stopped, a beast appeared on the screen. The beast wasn’t the one he wanted, but since he wasn’t an omniscient being who had ultimate authority over the knowledge of other beast races, he focused and read the details on the card.

The beast was of supreme quality, but it didn’t have the skills he desired, so Theodre decided to return the card.

He pressed the button again. The next moment, ‘1’ appeared on top of the screen as the square light rotation began.

Five seconds passed in a flash. Theodre’s eyes lit up in joy as he saw the same beast he wanted.

Theodre wasn’t disappointed with what he saw on the card. Before summoning it, Theodre didn’t know about the Infernal Cormorant, but after he summoned it in the first device, he fell in love with it.

The upper half of the card contained an illustration of the beast. The Infernal Cormorant was a sight to behold. Its body was sleek and streamlined, adorned with glossy black feathers that seemed to absorb light rather than reflect it. Its feathers were touched with flickering flames of crimson and orange as if the very essence of fire coursed through its veins.

Its wings were a mixture of obsidian black and fiery red, rippling and crackling with the intensity of flames. It was in a soaring format. As it soared through the air, it left behind trails of embers, and its wings created an ethereal glow that contrasted with the surrounding darkness. Its eyes were glowing with an otherworldly fire, burning with an intensity that reflected the power of the inferno.

He didn’t even have to ponder over whether to purchase the beast. The quality was only legendary, but Theodre was satisfied with it.

Even a legendary quality Supreme God beast would be able to step into the Sacred King level. He didn’t know anything about the beast other than its name, so he decided to ask the store owner about the beast.

Theodre then walked toward the square device and joined the line.

After a few minutes, he got his turn and completed the steps ahead.

Theodre found defeating the Divine Lord level Infernal Cormorant to be tougher than defeating the beast at the Supreme God level.

It made Theodre understand the difference between the quality levels of the beast.

Even though he spent days winning the taming battles, only a second passed in the store for each battle.

The payment was completed for the Supreme God beast since card owners could do that. But he had to complete the sale of the Divine Lord beast with the store owner since it was of ultimate quality.

Aakesh was relaxing on his chair since there were no customers around him. He heard the sound of footsteps approaching him, so he opened his eyes and found Theodre approaching him.

“Store owner, please complete the sale,” Theodre requested, pushing the beast card toward Aakesh.

Aakesh took the card, and the next moment, its details appeared in his head.

“You need to pay nine thousand four hundred ninety-nine supreme Sacred stones,” Aakesh informed Theodre.

***

“Store owner, please tell me about the Infernal Cormorant,” Theodre requested Aakesh after the sale was complete.
