1201 (1) The Menteals!

Chapter 1201: The Menteals!

Aakesh recognized the reason for the change in the man’s expression and his struggle. It wasn’t someone taking control of the man’s body; the man belonged to the Menteal race.

The Menteal was one of the top races in the Sacred Dimension, with several Sacred Emperors and Sacred Monarchs but not a single Sacred Creator.

It was an oval pattern with several random lines drawn in it. It was black in color. The same was the case with the man. When his eyes were blue, the pattern was black, but when the eye pupils turned black, the pattern turned piercing blue.

The Menteals didn’t belong to any group of races, and they had special conditions. Every Menteal was born with two personalities; one was born with an excellent comprehension of knowledge, while the other was born with superior combat sense.

With these two personalities, the Menteal should have dominated the Sacred Dimension, but there was an immensely harmful drawback to their personalities. The two essences hated each other to the core.

Due to the inherent hatred between the two personalities, the Menteal could never utilize their superior talent over others. Not many knew why Menteals couldn’t work on their issues and solve them, but Aakesh knew it.

The Menteal wasn’t a natural born race in the Multiverse, but a creature that was created by a Deva to get an answer.

The reason for the Menteal’s creation was that the Deva wanted to see who would win between an excellent comprehension of all knowledge and talent and superior combat sense. So, the Menteals could never solve that issue since there was no clear winner between the two.

It was also the reason that the Menteals had no Sacred Creator in their ranks despite having around the same number of Sacred Monarchs as any other overlord races of the Sacred Dimension.

The personality with the blue eyes represented excellent comprehension of knowledge, while the black eyes represented superior combat sense.

Since the personality with the black eyes sensed something valuable to it, it used all its power to shut down the comprehension personality for some time.

The man then entered the store with a confident expression. Due to their two personalities, the Menteals only cared either for new knowledge or fighting, so the luxuriance in the store didn’t affect the man a bit.

“Hey, there!” The man greeted casually.

Aakesh only silently nodded in response.

“I am Abel, what about you?”

“I am Aakesh,” Aakesh responded with his usual reply.

“Okay, Aakesh, tell me, what is it that forced me to take drastic action and use all the strength that I’ve gathered for years to break the contract and come out?” Abel asked.

The two personalities in Abel had a fixed time for coming out, so one wouldn’t pop out randomly, putting him in danger. Abel’s combative character broke the deal, so he had to use all the strength he had gathered over the past tens of thousands of years to shut down the other personality and forcefully replace it.

Aakesh understood what Abel wanted to ask, so he explained the training area to him.

“Give me one Primordial level training area for a sword,” Abel asked. His cultivation was Supreme God, so he met the conditions to enter the training area.

“You need to pay one supreme Sacred stone,” Aakesh informed.

Abel nodded and paid out the sum. Aakesh then explained the process of entering the training area.

“What bother? Why don’t you just put a gate here, so customers can directly enter the area,” Abel complained since he couldn’t bother with so much talking from Aakesh.

Abel then thanked Aakesh and proceeded toward the weapons room, when he suddenly stopped and turned around.

“Do you have a product that can help someone learn new knowledge,” Aakesh nodded and then introduced skills and cultivation arts to the man.

Abel had his nose turned sour upon finding out that there were products available in the store for his other personality.

“I must never let that guy enter the store,” Abel mumbled as he turned around and went toward the weapons room.

The conversation between Aakesh and Abel would not be available to the second personality. Abel didn’t want to see a case where it would grow, so he decided to keep the memory of the two products’ knowledge out.

Abel didn’t care whether hiding it would slow his cultivation. He only cared about fighting and humiliating the second personality. Everything other than those two didn’t matter to him.

‘If not for Deva’s grace, this race would have turned extinct long ago,’ Aakesh couldn’t help but think in his heart when he heard the murmur.

Since Deva had created Menteal for an experiment, Deva had rewarded Menteal with grace. The grace allowed Menteal’s luck to stay constant, and whoever would kill them would have to face bad luck. It enabled them to have no tragedies as their fortunes remained balanced, and none dared to have bad luck on their side.

Aakesh then stopped thinking about it since Menteal’s situation had nothing to do with him. Whether they survived or became extinct, things would stay the same for the store.

Aakesh instead closed his eyes, starting another relaxation session. This time, the session continued for ten minutes without any interruption, and then, it was interrupted by the sound of footsteps from outside the store.

Aakesh opened his eyes and turned in that direction, looking at the face approaching the store. It was a new face, but it was a citizen of Thorr City since it was a Thorron. There was a slight look of fear that every new Thorron customer had when coming to the store.

The killings Aakesh had committed when he had recently ascended to the Sacred Dimension with the store have become legendary events in the eyes of the citizens. It only became more and more exaggerated over time.
