The First Store System

1161 (2) The Sixth Product(15)

Chapter 1161: The Sixth Product(15)

Francis looked at Aakesh with hope filled eyes, hoping to hear what he wanted.

“No,” Aakesh responded, dashing whatever hope Francis had.

“It might not be possible presently, but it might be possible in the future,” Aakesh then added since he wasn’t aware of what abilities the beast card would unlock with every new pillar or what would happen if an upgrade occurred.

“Store owner, do you have an idea when it might happen?” Francis regained some hope and asked.

“No, there is no fixed time,” Aakesh answered. The store would get a new Beast Summoning Pillar today, so there will be a new ability unlocked. But Aakesh didn’t believe that it would have anything to do with the revival of the beast. If it were to happen, it would most probably happen with an upgrade reward.

After not finding the answer he wanted, Francis left the store since he wasn’t feeling right to ask for any other product.

Time flew by, and hours passed in the blink of an eye.

Tap! Tap! Tap!

Aakesh was relaxing in his chair when he heard the sound of footsteps coming from outside the store. He opened his eyes and turned in that direction, finding a new face approaching the store.

Winston belonged to the race Dried-Spotted Demons, a race in the demon group. As its name suggested, the members of this race had dried skin spots spread across their bodies.

The Dried-Spotted Demons were an upper-mid-tier race, with one Sacred King as its ruler, and Winston was the grandnephew of the sole Sacred King Dried-Spotted Demon.

Winston’s mother was the niece of the current ruler of the Dried-Spotted Demon, while his maternal grandfather was the elder brother of the leader.

Winston’s maternal grandfather was the ruler of the Dried-Spotted Demon around a decade earlier, but things suddenly changed as the younger brother succeeded in a breakthrough and became the first ever Sacred King for the race.

With it came the relinquishment of the top seat, despite Winston’s grandfather not wanting to. The relationship between the two brothers was good, but things immediately changed after the breakthrough.

The younger brother wanted to become the new leader once he became a Sacred King. There was no fight between the two brothers since the power difference between them had grown like the sky and earth.

Winston’s grandfather couldn’t accept him losing the throne, so he left for cultivation and announced to his immediate family that he would only return once he also became the Sacred King.

Winston’s father was a high official in the race’s administration, but since he had a direct relationship with the previous ruler, he was also forced out of power.

Winston, who lived a luxurious life without any worry, found his life changing overnight. It wasn’t the end as Winston also began to get persecuted by other Dried-Spotted Demons.

Except for directly killing his elder brother’s family, the younger brother pushed the family to the edge.

Winston was the only grandson, so his family pinned all their hopes on him.

Winston’s talent wasn’t bad, but to grow strong he needed resources and cultivation arts.

The hidden wealth kept by his grandfather was enough to sustain Winston’s cultivation up to peak Lesser God, but cultivation arts stumped him.

Winston was currently at peak Divine Lord, waiting to get a cultivation art to achieve a breakthrough to True God since the race’s cultivation arts were in control of the younger brother’s family and there were zero chances of him getting one from them.

So Winston started to search for opportunities to get cultivation art. His fortunes weren’t great at first, but his search bore fruit, as after searching for years, he finally learned about the store.

Winston took a deep breath and stepped inside the store. The next moment, the view in front of him changed, and he found himself faced with the luxurious store’s interior.

Winston didn’t know much about the store other than that it sold cultivation arts, so when he saw around him, his eyes almost popped out of their sockets in shock.

His eyes then fell on the blue-skinned man sitting on a chair and two other beautiful females sitting on two other chairs.

Winston knew at least something about the store owner’s features, so he recognized Aakesh.

“Hello, store owner!” Winston stepped forward and greeted Aakesh.

Aakesh silently nodded in response to Winston’s greetings, waiting for him to ask about the store’s products.

“Store owner, are cultivation arts available for sale here?” Winston asked, directly referring to his purpose.

“Yes, there are Lesser and Higher grades of cultivation arts available in the store,” Aakesh answered.

Winston breathed a sigh of relief when he heard Aakesh’s answer. His search didn’t turn futile, and he finally found a source to get a cultivation art.

Winston also found himself lucky since Higher grade cultivation arts worked for Divine Lord cultivators trying to become True Gods.

“Thank you, store owner,” Winston thanked Aakesh and then proceeded toward the cultivation arts room, pointed out by Aakesh.

After Winston left, Aakesh closed his eyes and started another of his relaxation sessions.

He hoped for Winston to find a suitable cultivation art since he was only one art sale short of completing the requirements for the third collective quest.

When Winston entered the room, he found several people inside the room, either reading from a page or taking art out of the two shelves.

Winston went to the shelf for the Higher grade cultivation arts. He then extended his hands and reached inside the shelf. When he took his hand back, there was a page in his hand.

Winston read the details of the cultivation art. He didn’t like what he read, so he returned the card back to the shelf and took out another page.

Tap! Tap! Tap!

While Winston was trying to find a suitable cultivation art for himself, Aakesh heard the sound of footsteps coming from outside the store.
