Elder Shen announced the result of assessment causing the whole crowd to gasp in shock and surprise.

That was a high number for a new recruit who had just joined a sect and even her spiritual was a rare one.

Even her spiritual root was refined to the grade of Heaven Realm at such a young age.

Although metal, water, air, earth and fire were the main spiritual roots, there were variants who appeared once in many many years with unique spiritual roots.

Lightning based spiritual root was one of them and it was like a double edged sword.

While it was powerful and had many potential allowing the cultivators to advance through ranks faster than other cultivators, problems came when they were at the final stage of ascending to godhood.

The heavens ignored their challenges because for them they were not worthy of the heavenly challenges and tribulations since they had lightning attributes.

In other words, heaven was simply being careful because these immortal cultivators could easily repulse the lightning tribulations.

Because of this very reason, this simple reason only few people with lightning based spiritual roots were born and very few were courageous to cultivate with this spiritual root.

But Fu Yao yao was a special case. Her family was rich an resourceful enough to help her to cultivate by providing her high grade pills and top notch teachers with cultivation manuals.

So, this was actually a good thing for her!!

When the people realized this, some got green with envy while others just blessed her for her good fortune.

But there were some people who were rather thinking about food at that very moment and might be even drooling!

"Host, why is  your stomach growling like this?" Nagina could even feel the vibration that came along with the roar of the stomach.

"Cause I am hungry. Don't forget, I still need to supplement my body with food but I have been hungry for a long long time." With a sad sigh, Le Fangling patted her tummy. 

"I haven't eaten anything."

Unlike before, she really was tapping it cause she was hungry and not to feel the seal on it.

"I can eat after all this is over, hopefully." Le Fangling looked at Fu Yao yao as she waited for her turn.

"Hey, but tell me. Is her spiritual root really that impressive?" Le Fangling thought about the reaction she got from the crowd just because of her.

As long as one trained efficiently, even if they were to have a simple spiritual root, she was sure they could do anything.

"Oh, this hype. Well, you know the lighting attribute is rare and you can't deny the power it possesses. But like you said, you can be impressive even without having the overpowered spiritual roots." Nagina answered her as she focused her gaze of Fu Yaoyao.

'This girl, she might seem to possess some threat to her.' Nagina shrugged and shook her round head to wave off the bad premonition in her mind.

"So, what is my spiritual root?" Le Fangling asked a little excited.

"Why do you ask me?  You should wait for the assessment itself." Nagina gave a slight hiss as she tried to change the direction of the topic.

"You should practice patience once in a while," Nagina went back to her rest after saying what she wanted to say. Her physical form took too much energy to maintain and until she started to cultivate properly along with Le Fangling, she was going to suffer the backlashes of manifesting in a physical form.

"Though lightning had one draw back." Nagina decided to share one last piece of information she had.

"Like what?" Le Fangling whispered.

"The next pressing drawback is their lack of Spiritual roots with other elements."

"Ohh, so basically hard to have a co-operation." Le Fangling was kind of not surprised as she thought of how similar her root was to her shitty personality.

Maybe this Spiritual roots was not even rare but only waiting to find people who matched the characteristics!

Thinking about this made her feel like laughing out loud but she decided to refrain herself from doing so.

"Pfftt..cough.." Le Fangling let out a small dry cough to stop herself.

Every disciple looked at the female Fu Yaoyao who stood in the stage with a smug look on her face.

She felt a sense of accomplishment when she saw everyone's impressed face. She was not  called as child prodigy for no reason.

She condensed the qi in her hand and created a medium range purple colored lighting that coiled around her hand and arms like a poisonous snake. Her whole body illuminated in the halo of the lightning, making her look like a supreme being…well, at least when it lasted.

"Junior sister is amazing."

"Such a talented junior sister!! Great!!"

Cheers and claps resounded from all over the place making Fu Yao yao gleam in pride as she looked around.

'Heh…this is the difference between those commoners and high class people like me .' She turned to look at the boy Chen Gong with a haughty expression. Since he was the first one to have gone, she felt that he took her place to shine.

'Learn your place.' She gave a smirk squinting her eyes.

Chen Gong who thought she was looking at him as a fellow disciples misunderstood her gaze and gave a quick thumbs up.

'You did well..nice job.'

"Such a strong cultivation base."

He knew this kind of chaos and noise was inevitable but….he looked at the group of male disciples and mumbled in a tiny voice.

"At least, clam yourself young bloods." He just gave a sigh and looked at his chief disciple.

The chief disciple once again came forward with the name tag and handed it to him.. He looked at Fu Yao yao and gave an inaudible sigh.
