The Epic of Leviathan (A Mutant's Ascension)

Chapter 477 - Yachiru's Thoughts...

[Sitri Mansion, Kuoh Town]

Serafall Leviathan finally finished reading through the file and to be honest, she was kind of overwhelmed with everything she read in that file. Serafall didn't know what to think of it.

Serafall found out the tournament is going to play a huge role for the future of the young generation Devils. It wouldn't matter for the losers, but for the winners, it could change their lives.

Hela was even planning to include Fallen Angels, and Angels, though Serafall had no idea how that was going to work as Fallen Angels and Angels are going to have a huge advantage over the Devils due to the Light Weapons.

Though Serafall couldn't deny that fighting against Fallen Angels and Angels is going to be a whole new experience for the young generation of the Devils. Most Devil clan heirs had close to zero experience against Light Weapons.

That was also why Serafall was so worried, her cute little sister would have to fight such opponents in the tournament. To be honest, she wanted to forbid her sister from participating, but she knew that wouldn't work.

It was compulsory for all the Devil Clan heirs to participate in the upcoming Rating Games tournament. Serafall couldn't blame Hela as the woman was doing this to stabilize the future of the Underworld.

'Now, how am I supposed to pass on this information to my cute sister?' Serafall asked herself as she finally entered her sister's mansion.

Serafall knew that her sister was being trained by Yachiru Unohana, to be honest, Serafall wanted to protest, but at the same time she knew that training under that woman would really help her sister and her sister's peerage, especially with the upcoming tournament.

Serafall maneuvered through the whole house and she finally arrived in the training area. As soon as she arrived in the training area, her face lost all colour as her eyes landed on her sister and her sister's peerage.

'Why is my cute little sister kicking that huge boulder?!!' Serafall questioned hysterically inside her mind. 'This is bad… I need to save my sister from this cruelty' Serafall screamed inside her mind.

"Leviathan-San, what a pleasant surprise" Serafall heard a sweet and polite voice from behind her. Serafall slowly turned around only to find Yachiru Unohana standing behind her with a sweet smile on her face.

Serafall's whole being shivered in fear. Even though Yachiru Unohana's voice was sweet and polite, Serafall couldn't help but feel fear and it was the same case with the woman's smile. Serafall couldn't help but compare Unohana's smile with the smile of the God of the Bible.

'I think the training will do a lot of good for my sister' Serafall decided inside her mind.

"Yeah… I was in the city as you know, so I decided to drop by" Serafall said and started to chuckle.

"Onee-San!! What are you doing here?" Sona and the others finally noticed Serafall's arrival and they stopped their training, but all of them suddenly froze in their tracks as they remembered that they were still training.

Yachiru tilted her head, she had her usual kind smile on her face. "All of you can take a small break" Yachiru said and everyone except Serafall released a relieved sigh. They have been training since early morning without any break.

Serafall did notice the small hesitation in her sister's eyes until Yachiru allowed them to have a small break, but she decided not to make any comments regarding that. No matter what, Yachiru Unohana was their teacher, so it wasn't odd that they were waiting for their teacher's permission.

Serafall didn't bother about anything else and glomped on to her approaching sister. "So-tan, I missed you so much!!" Serafall exclaimed loudly as she hugged her sister tightly.

Serafall immediately felt some physical changes within her sister. Like Sona's muscles were much more defined and she felt slightly heavier and more developed than before.

"Onee-San!!" Sona exclaimed as her face lit up like a christmas tree. Right now, Sona felt really embarrassed. Though, it wasn't anything new for her peerage except for Genshirou Saji, everyone else in her peerage was quite familiar with this scene.

"Come on, So-tan! I am hurt! Aren't you excited to see me?!" Serafall asked with a sullen look on her face and started to sniff. Sona immediately panicked and hugged back her sister.

"I have missed you too" Sona practically whispered while looking away from Serafall, but her older sister clearly understood her words and a cheerful and excited smile appeared on Serafall's face as she embraced her sister even more tightly.

"It is nice to see you again, Serafall-sama. How have you been?" Tsubaki Shinra finally approached the Sitri sisters and greeted them. She was Sona Sitri's Queen, so it was necessary for her to greet her King's elder sister.

Serafall immediately looked at her sister's Queen and once again, Serafall instantly noticed a lot of changes in her. According to Serafall, Tsubaki's posture has improved a lot since the last time she had seen her.

While Tsubaki Shinra was greeting Serafall, the other members of Sona's Peerage had decided to sit down and take a break… they didn't know how long the break was supposed to last but they wanted to fully enjoy the break…

Yachiru Unohana kept watching the whole scene from the sidelines. Yachiru decided to leave for now as she had given the whole group a small break. Sona and her peerage had been working really hard, they have earned themselves some slack.

Right now, something else was going through Yachiru Unohana's mind,so she decided to go for a small walk. Yesterday, Ardat had paid her a visit…

~FLASHBACK~

Yachiru was inside her room, reminiscing about her date with Reo. Due to the recent events, a lot has been going through her mind. All of a sudden, she stiffened, but moments later she relaxed…

"Hoho… I am impressed. I was being subtle, but you still noticed me" a feminine voice was heard from the shadows and slowly Ardat revealed herself.

"I had a good teacher" Yachiru said with a smile and Ardat giggled.

"Stop! You are going to make me blush" Ardat said as she pranced around the room.

"Please have a seat" Yachiru offered politely and Ardat plopped down on the floor on the opposite side of Yachiru. "Would you like some tea?" Yachiru asked and Ardat simply raised her delicate eyebrows in a questioning manner.

"Do you always keep tea on hand?" Ardat questioned curiously and Yachiru simply cracked a smile.

"No, but I always keep the ingredients on me… It would be rude if I don't offer someone tea while having a chat" Yachiru said softly and Ardat had no idea what sort of fucked up logic was that.

"Sorry, but I had to deny your offer. You see, I am slightly busy right now" Ardat said and Yachiru nodded her head in understanding.

"Well, I decided to drop by to inform you that I am done with all the preparations on my side, we can start the ritual tomorrow" Ardat said and for a moment, a complicated glint appeared in Yachiru's eyes. Ardat noticed that, but decided not to make any comments regarding that.

"...Can we start the day after tomorrow?" Yachiru asked after a few seconds of silence.

Ardat tapped her chin. "I am fine with the day after tomorrow too, but why not tomorrow?" Ardat agreed, but she was still curious about why Yachiru didn't agree with tomorrow.

"I need to take care of something personal tomorrow" Yachiru said in a cryptic manner and Ardat simply shrugged as it wasn't a huge deal for her. Ardat slowly stood up and waved at Yachiru.

"Well, I will be arriving the day after tomorrow, so be ready. Gotta go… I have lots of things to do, people to kill" Ardat said with a grin and she slowly disappeared into red mist.

Yachiru released a sigh and started to stare outside her window. Moments later, a determined look appeared on her face…

~FLASHBACK END~

'Tonight, I am going to give myself to Reo-kun' Yachiru thought with a determined look on her face.

She had decided to give herself to Reo yesterday, until now, she wasn't able to gather her courage, but at the same time, she couldn't hold herself back anymore. She also wanted to be one with her Reo-kun.

Yesterday, Ardat's arrival simply gave her an excuse. Yachiru Unohana was a traditional woman, she simply couldn't give up all that with a snap of her fingers. Giving herself to Reo would mean that she was also taking him as her husband. That was a big decision for her.

After so many years of loneliness, she was finally going to give herself to someone. According to her, it needed to be special. Yachiru hasn't talked with the other women, but she was sure that the others wouldn't mind giving up Reo for one night…

Yachiru finally returned to the training area and found that the group looked really relaxed, so she decided to end their small break and resume their training…
