The Devil's Sweetheart

Playing peek a boo with the sun was joyous than peeking into his mobile. This is the state of Leena's emotions right at the moment. The so-called intimate contact name which she has seen in his mobile was squeezing the heart of Leena leaving her breathless.

"Back to earth Miss Pervert. I have been calling you for a long time." Devin asked upon seeing her distance look.

The voice of Devin brought her back to the world of reality. When Leena recollected her emotions, she blinked her eyes and chided herself for having inappropriate thoughts on him.

"I am back," Leena mumbled without arguing. Apparently, it was a shock to Devin.

'Why are you so vexed up Leena? Why are you thinking about him? You, dummy. What if he has a girlfriend? Playboys like him change women like how children change their diapers.'

'Lovely Eve, my foot. It's not even half cuter than my lovely name.'

To relieve her anger, Leena got a fantastic idea to take revenge on him while playing a safe game along. Without further ado, she immediately called her made-up minions.

"My ugly Angel and lovely Devil, Goddess Leena request your presence on priority. I am going to demonstrate a live playboy story." Just when Leena called her shoulder mate minions, they immediately flew on to her shoulders.

"Why did you call me goddess Leena?" Devil asked her with a shy smile. She was on a cloud nine when her goddess called her with a cute name, lovely Devil.

"Why else she would call us? Obviously to cook up another story and to eat our brains. By the way Devil, you should stop praising and quit calling her goddess. She is getting addicted to her narcissistic behavior way too much." Angel chided, thinking of a way to get Leena out of the fantasy world she is living in.

"That's the reason she calls you ugly," Devil said, flying in front of the angel to scoff at her.

"It's because of you she is_"

"Can you both stop? If you are here to argue, you are welcome to leave this place." Just when Leena was about to knock them down, Devil instantly butted in to stop her.

"Sorry Goddess Leena! I am in." Devil insisted while the angel reluctantly supported her.

"So, whose story you want to demonstrate ?" Angel asked, looking at Leena with disinterest.

"You are as dumb as a post, angel. It's obviously about my God's story." Devil sheepishly admitted shying away. It's been two days, I have seen this kitty right?

"Enough with your praising, Devil, He is just an average. " Leena yelled. That shameless man would climb and sit in a tree if he knows about it.

"Alright, Goddess Leena."

"She is just jealous that he is more attractive than her," Angel whispered in her mind.

"He got a call from his girlfriend. This is the theme of our story. Now you are going to listen to the conversation with his girlfriend ."

"How?" Devil asked.

Clearing her throat, Leena started.

"Ladies and gentlemen, Welcome to the great Leena's show. Let's get ready to gossip about the most shameless yet handsome man I have ever seen."

"I am ready." With an exciting voice, Devil said.

"First scene! He will put up an excuse front and tell us that he has to take the call urgently," Saying that, Leena gazed at Devin waiting for his reply without knowing that from the start Devin was looking at her acts in confusion.

"Where did you put your brain again? I have been calling you for a long time." Devin worriedly asked. She had been acting standoffish since he sought her out.

"I_I am fine," Leena said, feeling sad that the story is not going according to her script.

Just when Devin was about to ask her something more, his phone began ringing again.

"I have to take this call urgently. Can you take a walk alone?" Devin apologized and walked out to take the call not before signaling Drew to take care of Leena until he comes back. He was glad that there are no people wandering here. Although he was in a mask, there is a high chance that someone spots him. Even though he has a bodyguard, he doesn't prefer taking them all the time which would restrict his private life.

"Oye Mowgli. I am going for a walk in the other direction." The moment Devin went out to take the call, Leena ran away even before Drew could catch her.

"That's a cool way to escape, Goddess Leena." Devil's praise won her completely.

"If she doesn't escape, Drew would think of enrolling her into mental Asylum with the way she was conversing with herself," Angel said to Devil.

"Don't always scold our Goddess. How did you know that the hotty would ask for private space, Leena? You are too intelligent." It was the Devil's voice.

"It's basic etiquette to take a personal call in a private," Angel reprimanded the foolish Devil.

"Enough with your arguments! Look at him, dumbos. I will explain what exactly he is talking to his girlfriend." Leena began her narration.

"He is pondering to pick up the call because he has done something wrong. Finally, guilt-tripped him and he has lifted the call."

"Quite a logic," Angel stated.

"My lovely Eve. It's been a long time we had the heart to heart talk." Leena said, intently looking at his lip movement. She paused for a moment until he resumed his conversation again.

"I understand we know each other for a long time, but I don't want to cheat on her now." Looking at his lip movement she explained her minions. Why he is speaking so fast. It's getting hard to catch his movements.

"I am in love with some other girl right now," Leena said.

"But how did you know what exactly he is speaking Goddess?" Devil asked in confusion.

"Because I am a lip-reading expert." Leena openly declared with a proud smile.

"She is just bluffing whatever comes to her mind," Angel inclined.

Ignoring Angel's comments, Leena began her story again.

"Now I am going to explain what the other person in the call is speaking."

"Who is that girl? You can't do this to me. We have known each other for a long time." Leena wiped her imaginary tears to exaggerate the situation.

"You can decipher the other person's thoughts ?" Devil asked with excitement.

"I am a mind-reading expert also." Leena winked at the two.

"She is the most narcissist I have ever seen," Angel whispered to herself. Without seeing a person, she is claiming that she would read a person's mind. I give my immense powers to his future husband to deal with this brat.

Just when Leena was about to illustrate the rest of the story, her eyes unconsciously drifted to elsewhere, and instantly something caught her attention. Drew was shooting photos in his camera. She remembered when they were getting down from the car, he brought a bag along with him. So it is the camera then! While being insane for photography, Leena's attention quickly shifted to him.

"Thanks for appearing in Leena's live show as guests. It was nice talking to you miss ugly angel and the lovely devil. I hope you enjoyed the show and we will meet again next time when I needed you." Leena knocked Angel and devil on to the ground before they could bid goodbye and straight away headed towards Drew.

"I am spared. Drew will totally become insane today." Angel giggled and flew away with happiness.

Let's rewind the story back to ten minutes to check if Leena's story has passed the test.

Devin walked into a place somewhere far away from Leena to pick up the call.

"Glad that she didn't see the contact name." Devin breathed a sigh of relief. He already knew her crazy mind which could cook up stories like there is no end. Had she seen the name, she would definitely imagine things.

Devin was debating over the idea to pick up the call or not. He would have talked in front of Leena itself but until she agrees he wanted to keep her as a secret from his family. The thought of getting together with her was already exciting for him.

He was back from his fantasy world when his phone started ringing again. Does she have no work today? Reluctantly, Devin picked up the call.

"My precious baby..... How are you?" A loud piercing voice entered into his ears. Devin has to put his phone a little away to protect his eardrums.

"Evelyn, Did you steal my phone and change the contact name again?" Devin implored. Somehow his phone gets robbed away and before he knew it, the name would be changed. I have to keep my password a little secure from now.

"You dare to call your mom by full name? By the way, I got to know that you are in love with a girl?"

How did my CCTV know? It must be those two idiots. Drew or Harley would have vomited out. Who else would become a blabbermouth other than them?

"For ten years I have been asking you to meet the girl at least once. I have even met her recently. She is very kind and beautiful. Please consider it once. You will sure like her." Devin could hear the imaginary wailings from his mother. Her acting has started to become more tragic compared to his dad's

"I am not interested in anyone mom." Except for my sweetheart. Devin muttered under his breath.

"You are missing a true gem, son. She is my friend's daughter."

"Mom! I told you already, even if it is your friend's daughter, I am not interested in her." His mom has been trying to patch him up with some girl for a long time and she has become addicted to her. He only wished she would like Leena when he takes her to the home.

"We will discuss it again when you come back home. Your grandfather is begging to see you. When are you coming back?" She asked.

Devin chuckled hearing his grandfather's name. He would no doubt likes Leena a lot. He is just like his sweetheart, one narcissist.

"After Leah's wedding."

"I forgot to mention. Inform Daisy that I can't come to Leah's wedding. I am busy with an urgent operation."

"Roger that CCTV."

After a long stretch of her continuous nagging, his mother has spared him finally. After bidding goodbye to her, Devin headed out in search of his darling.. The moment he spotted her doing something off the beat, he literally has to take the support of a tree in order not to fall. What the hell is she is doing there?
