The CEO's Woman

Chapter 219 - Disrespect

"Young Master, the board members are already waiting for you in the board room," Bei Ye said as his face began to turn into a frown. Why was his young master was not informed that there would be a board meeting the moment he arrived at the Fu Conglomerate's main office?

This was a blatant disrespect.

Even the vice president had not informed him nor welcomed him when he had arrived at his father's office.

"Hmmm," Fu Jin's nonchalant response was something that Bei Ye had not expected."Let them wait."

Fu Jin did not even spend a minute of his time thinking about this board meeting. His attention was focused solely on the files that he was looking at.

He had been reading the reports for the last two years and his eyes had already caught some problems.

"Young Master, someone called Chu Yang is here to see you," he heard Bei Ye's voice announce..

In response, Fu Jin nodded. Chu Yang had been chosen to be his secretary ever since Fu Jin started his training almost 3 years ago. When he was training about how to handle company affairs, Chu Yang was also trained along with him.

"Mr. Fu," Chu Yang made a low bow as he stood in front of Fu Jin. He then gave Fu Jin a black USB and two white binders. "The Old Master asked me to give this to you the moment you start working at Fu Conglomerate. He said you should know already know the password. These binders contain information about all of the board members and every shareholder."

Fu Jin accepted the USB and the binders without any questions before inserting the USB into his computer. He immediately typed in the password that his grandfather had give him years ago and started reading the files one by one.

"Young Master, are we not going to attend the board meeting?" Chu Yang decided to ask when he noticed Fu Jin's lack of interest.

"No. I was not invited," he promptly answered.

"But Young Master, the vice president already sent his secretary twice to let you know that they are waiting for you," he reasoned.

"No, he did not." Fu Jin's words instantly baffled Chu Yang.

However, Chu Yang had been trained just like Bei Ye: to become someone with absolute loyalty. If Fu Jin were to go left, Chu Yang was trained not to go right.

This method was unique only to the Fu Family. None of the other prominent families used this kind of method when choosing their subordinates. Since young, someone was chosen to be trained to serve the next patriarch; someone was already assigned to take care of their every need.

Although Chu Yang was trained not too long ago, he was already extremely familiar with Fu Jin and the Fu Family. However, he still couldn't say that he completely understood Fu Jin's way of thinking. So in response, Chu Yang just nodded and went back to his own working table just outside of Fu Jin's office.

He was not stupid. Chu Yang could already feel the intimidating aura slowly creeping out of Fu Jin. He knew that Fu Jin was mad this time. He also knew that minutes from now, the vice president was sure to come knocking at Fu Jin's door.

Just like what Chu Yang expected, the vice president, with some other investors in tow, strode towards Fu Jin's office with a dark face. Chu Yang tried to stop them but he was easily overpowered.

"Fu Jin, what do you mean by this?" Hu Renjie, the current vice president, asked the moment he barged into Fu Jin's office. "We have been waiting for more than an hour already! How can you disrespect us like this?"

Fu Jin raised his head to look at the vice president who was fuming. He then gave the old man a chilling smile.

"Mr. Hu... Are you here to welcome me?"
