THE CEO AND ME!

Chapter 231 - TRUST ME BESTIE!

"Playing dirty or tell me I m too good to accept someone else's blood as mine...legally, I m the father of that child you are carrying...I have an equal say as much as you on her behalf."

He pointed out, holding her wrist and pulling her close to his body. She did know that he was going to beat around the bush with the law with her from henceforth.

"Yet I m going to go work and you do not have any legal authority to control my fucking life, husband!"

She spat and pushed him aside, grabbing her bag and getting out, pissing him off for good.

Kian was stunned, watching her react that way and then leaving like that after pissing him off.

Tinsley continued her walk to the bakery, occasionally turning to look at her back if he was following her.

She was did not want him to create another drama in her workplace. Last night, what he did to Kyle, it was just unacceptable.

She did not even get the time to check up on him. She checked her phone for any texts or call. And the fact, that Madi had not returned any of her calls or texts was eating her up too.

The bell rang as she opened the door of the bakery and the sweet lady at the counter greeted her.

"Morning, Lola!"

Tin smiled and got off her coat, wore her apron back and entered the kitchen. Bethany was there, helping with the dough.

"Look who is here!"

Tin walked up to her and Beth pulled her in for a hug. Their pregnant bellies get on their way of giving each other a warm embrace.

"I heard what happened last night from Kyle."

Beth said and it instantly got Tin's ear straight up. She did not think Kyle would tell Beth about it.

"So is it true??"

Beth implored, Tin poked her eyes into Beth's, not understanding what she meant by the question.

"What is true??"

"That he...the guy is your husband?"

And that was it...it was something Tin had thought, she could hide her past from this present...yet the past came knocking against her door.

"Is it true??"

Beth, slightly touched her arms, bringing her back to the present and it felt like there was no use lying to them...

So she gave Beth a shaky nod. And she was freaking out if Beth would scream out in shock or astonishment but was glad when she kept her composure.

They resumed their work. None said another word after that and it was killing Tin inside to know what was going in Beth's head.

Pulling the dress down, he chained his zipper up. She licked her lips as she felt them dry and before he could say anything, she stormed out of the empty storage room in the flash of the second. He followed her and tried to call her back.

"Madison??"

But she kept walking away. By now, even he was annoyed and irritated by her behaviour....the way she was treating him.

Instead of going after her, he decided to give her some time and clear her head. She was of course not in the right state of her mind at this point...or even before and during their act of shame.

Doing the dishes and putting the ordered cakes in the oven, Beth walked out of the kitchen to install fresh cupcakes on the counter and then she saw him.

She quickly slipped her phone out from the apron's pocket and swiped it unlocked, to see the image of the man, Kyle had sent her the other night.

She immediately turned around to go and stop Tin, before she would come out of the kitchen, but out came, Tin, holding the tray of cupcakes and she smiled at Beth.

When she saw the changed complexion on Beth's face, she followed her gaze and then saw who it was...who was sitting on the booth, right at the front.

Her eyes got stuck and she could not help but think how did he even know the address of the bakery. He only saw her working in the diner.

But then when she saw last night, how two guards were stationed in the alley where she lived, it made sense and she was not shocked how he knew where she worked and what she did.

"I will handle him."

"Huh?"

Tin was taken back to the present by Beth's soft nudge. She looked at Beth, who was giving her those helpful eyes.

"You go inside. He has not seen you yet...I will handle him."

Beth offered. She could tell what it was like to see an unwanted person, back from your past, where that person had tormented and hurt you so much.

"No use...he would create a scene if he finds out I m here...which of course he knows and I did not come to him."

Tinsley shook her head. She was aware of his short-tempered nature and how he was the kind of man, who would not hesitate twice to create a scene in her working place.

"Do not let him see that he still can bend you to his commands...I will handle him...believe me, I have done it enough."

Beth pressed. She could see how much Tin was affected by this man, who was her husband.

It was a surprise because she never thought she to be married for even a second when they first met.

"I don't think..."

"Trust me, bestie!"

Tinsley was about to oppose but Beth interrupted her right away. Upon, Beth's insistence, she faces up and before turning around, she looked back at him.

He was checking his phone, sitting all alone in the table of two. And the people, nearby were gawking at him, whispering things they knew about him...who the man was!

And out of nowhere, he raised his gazes up and then their eyes got locked, before he could do anything, she sped inside the kitchen.
