Lana is sick!"

He said and Madi remained silent, standing beside the bed listening to him in quietness.

"You will never tell her!"

Her voice rang inside his head as he was about to tell everything to Madison. She had to leave her modelling career to get the chemotherapy done.

John ended up narrating everything to Madison. She had been lying to Madison about going to fashion shows, or modelling. She had been going to her treatment and therapy during those times.

And then it made sense to Madison why every time, she would urge to go with her to her fashion show, Lana would deny her saying that she was fine.

What hurts the most was, she was juggling between life and death and being with her when Madi ended all of it by cheating on her.

The nurse swivelled the medicine table past by Madison, who was standing, leaning on the white hospital wall, waiting for the doctor to show up.

They had to take Lana to her regular hospital as she did not gain her consciousness back after a while.

It made John and Madi concerned and they immediately rushed her to the hospital, not wanting to take any risk

Now, standing for a few minutes, outside the cabin as the doctor examined her inside.

John was standing on the opposite side and smiled at her slightly when their eyes matched for a moment. Madison was quick at parting her gaze off and looking away.

The doctor came out of the cabin and both Madi and John were quick to walk up to her.

"She is fine for now. We have checked her all vitals, her health reports and there is a risk of her disease getting back to her..."

The moment the doctor said that Madi's heart came out of her mouth. John felt stressed too.

They had already tackled it for about a year by then and how struggling and excruciating the entire journey had been for him and his sister. She almost went into depression and had anxiety attacks.

Getting her to go for the treatment in the first place was so hectic. She did not want to go through all that doctor check-ups, physiotherapy and radiations.

John had to force her to do so. Earlier, she would deliberately miss her appointments and John had to drag her back even missing his works or sometimes in the middle of a damn meeting.

After she and Madison got back together, she made him swear that he would not tell anything to Madi and in exchange, she would attend to her treatment without any question.

That was the deal between the brother and the sister. And they had both abided by it so far until things changed.

"We will conduct a few tests before we can confirm if it is back..."

The doctor concluded. John was quick to step in once the doctor was done speaking.

"And what if it is back??"

"We cannot say anything right now, Mr Kravinshky. "

The doctor shrugged, and it irritated John, wondering how could it be back after she had gone through all the treatment. It just did not make any sense. What was the use of the treatment then?

"How could it be even back?? She went through all the treatments and it...it just does not make any sense...how??"

John implored, worried for his sister's health. He knew that the second time, Delta was not going to take the news well.

"Well, still cannot say or assume anything yet, Mr Kravinshky until the test reports are out. And diseases like that could return in many cases...there is no guarantee that it will not."

The doctor answered and excused herself out. John sighed and Madi had no words to let out.

Soon, a nurse called them inside the cabin to have a look at Lana. John allowed Madison to go first.

It was awkward and she was afraid how Lana would react. She knew that things could never ever be the same anymore after the truth was out in the air.

She opened the door and saw the love of her life, laying on the bed with the oxygen mask on and a few machines beeping inside the large VIP cabin.

The remaining nurses left the room to give them privacy. Very cautiously, Madison walked up to the bed and waited for Lana to open her eyes.

She had no idea what she was going to say to her, with what face. She had betrayed her trust, their love. Nothing could ever justify her doings...

"Madi?? Is that you??"

Lana inquired, with half-opened eyes. She could only see a little, blurry vision of the person standing before her bed.

Madison nodded and got near the bed. Lana held her hand out which she held back and took a sit on the stool nearby.

"What is wrong with me??"

Lana implored, opening her eyes fully this time. Madison was a bit taken aback by how she was talking to her so nicely without getting angry at what she had done before.

"You fainted and we bought you to the hospital...here!"

Madison replied, running her fingers through Lana's thick blonde hair. Lana hummed.

"We?? Is my brother here??"

Madi nodded and it was at that moment, John chose to get in too. He was anxious about how might she react to seeing him but then when she did not say anything at all and saw how Madi was sitting close to her, he stepped inside.

"Brother!"

Lana greeted in her small, smiling at John. And it was weird for both duos to see her reacting as if nothing had happened before...as if she did not know the truth or forgot it?

But after their little conversation, it was clear that Lana had chosen to forget the truth...the bitter revelations for the time being from getting hard too much.

John left shortly after, for not being able to stand there and watch his innocent sister after what he had done.

Madison could not leave her side. She sat with her throughout the day. Lana whined about going back home but until the tests were done, she could not go to anywhere.

The four tests that were given, made her so tired. Later, Madi helper her eat her lunch and dinner soon after. They had to stay back for the night. John left in the evening.

Meanwhile back in the house, Madi's phone kept ringing. It was Tinsley. She had been trying to reach Madison after the whole drama that she had undergone.

She had so many questions as to why and how Kian came to know about her. From where did he get to know where she lived when John said that no way he could ever find out unless he let him so.

It made so many questions to arise in Tinsley's mind that it was running wild. She could not yet process everything that had happened so far.

After he had left, a day had gone by and there was no sign of him. Not that she was looking forward to his arrival but she did not know what he was going to do that he now knew everything about her.

She held her bump protectively afraid of what Kian might do now that he knew about her little Ava?

She was also annoyed that nobody was answering her phone calls or texts. Madison was missing in action, so was Lana and her brother.

She dropped it thinking perhaps they could all have been busy. She waited for them to reach her back but it never happened.

Back at home to collect some of Lana's belongings, John noticed Madi's phone and all the missed calls and texts from Tinsley.

It was a sign that Kian had reached her and Tinsley was calling Madison to find out how Kian knew and also for help? Could it be not?

He was a bit guilty of ruining her golden chance of separating from her overbearing husband as Madison had accused him of.

But he was helpless here as he had said before. He could not let his sister find out the truth from Kian although things did turn up in a very bad way.

The doctor had told him that Lana could be having some internal memory short term loss. She would be fine in a few days.

It was that made him concerned about what would happen next?? Not to mention the tension of the tests turning positive.

He just collected a few of her clothes, her toiletries and grabbed Madison's phone to give it to her.

He did not know with what face, he was ever going to show up at Tinsley's or even a few days from now, could he match eyes with his own sister after what he had done??
