Madi yelled back, tying her robe around her bikini-clad body and getting inside the villa.

"She cannot...you know that too. She cannot because she is married. She is fucking married!!! And I do not understand why are you so hell-bent on ending a fucking marriage when both do not want it to end of course....??? Why Madison?? Why??"

Lana wailed, wanting to understand the reason behind her beloved's motive. She had seen her talk with divorce specialist lawyers back and forth.

And she also saw how many times, Kian had begged to know where his wife was. Sometimes, she felt like telling it to him but she could not because she was loyal to her goddamn of stubborn girlfriend.

"Because I fucking dropped the idea in his head to marry her!!"

"Raise your thighs up, Ms Johnson!"

The doctor asked her, wearing her gloves. Tinsley was seated on a hospital chair, leaning on, dressed in the hospital gown.

She followed the doctor's instructions. Although her heart was beating furiously, afraid, nervous and excited at the same time, she had no idea what was going to happen to her.

The nurse got ready with some weird looking needles. The doctor was reading through some reports.

"It might feel a prickling sensation of weird but try to hold intact ok? It we might need to repeat the entire process and as you know it is quite expensive."

The doctor explained to her. And she tried to understand. The nurse handed the doctor the insertion needle.

Tinsley took a deep breath and held onto the chair as the doctor got down, the nurse held onto her legs.

They were strapped onto the strand of the chair to avoid her from making any kind of movement.

She felt the coldness on her naked feminine core. She had managed to shave herself clean last night upon the advice of Bethany.

Even though Bethany wanted to take her to a salon for that, Tin decided to do it herself and not to say it was quite a hard task to get rid of all the hairs...the smaller ones including those between the asscheeks.

It was a very excruciating job but she was glad that she had done a good job and maybe that was why she was being a little confident to remain intact.

The doctor inserted the sterilized needle with the sample inside her and she felt that tickling feeling.

It was not something she had ever felt down there. The sensation was just so different and down there is the most sensitive part of her, she avoided and tried her best to not move.

She felt the needle going deep inside her and she felt its cold metal making contact with her core inside.

She let out a small mewl of pain when she felt the needle poking her insides. The doctor asked her to stay still as they were only half way in through.

The entire procedure took a few more minutes before they were done. Tinsley was given a moment to get dressed and clean herself.

Afterwards, the doctor asked her to follow a set of things. She was to avoid doing heavy, strenuous work and not to stress or overwork herself.

With Bethany, she left later on. The rest of the weekend, she spent trying to be very conscious about what she did and what she could not do.

She avoided bending or doing anything that required applying pressure on her lower back.

She ate lots of fruits and vegetables, boiled eggs and more vitamins supplements as suggested by the dietician.

Even though she was asked to not be stressed or anxious but she could not help it either because this week, it was crucial whether or not the sample would stick to her womb.

The danger of miscarriage was hundred per cent and she tried to not think much about it.

When the week ended, she bought up two pregnancy test kits and hoped that they would pop positive.

The doctor had asked her to not take one right away but after a week or two, she could.

Taking that advice in her head, she took out one test kit and sat on the toilet waiting to pee on the stick.

It was in those moments, some unwanted memories kicked in. The first time, she took the test with him.

She closed her eyes not wanting to think about that but her mind was playing games with her.

The second time when she took the test alone, she remembered that too and how much happy she was.

But how it had ended in both the cases...she blocked her mind from going to that dark place again and remained intact.

Setting the phone on a timer and placing the stick on the counter, she headed out of the washroom to cook dinner before she had to leave for work to the diner.

She had forgotten the time length and had her dinner, got ready to work. Forgetting the phone in the bathroom along with the test kit.

It was a busy shift and she tried to not tho k about her past. She was getting emotional and sensitive to small things.

After her shift was over, walking down the street alone, it was then when checking for her phone inside her skirt pocket, she remembered.

She started running towards her home, out of excitement and nervousness to see the result.

She unlocked the door hastily and strode towards the bathroom. Turning off the alarm on the phone, she closed her eyes and took a deep breath before flipping off the test kit to see the result.
