THE CEO AND ME!

Chapter 166 - "YOU LOOK STUNNING!"

Tinsley was dressed in red and tied her red hairs in a neatly French bun.

She applied a little makeup and then got out of her enormous bedroom. It was of the same size as the one she used to have back at home.

When Kian told her about the fundraising event, she asked him if she could do the preparations and even though at first, he was not sure if he should let her, considering the past events, regardless of it all, he chose to give her a chance.

And from one week, she had been doing nothing but preparing for this event with everything in her power.

She had called in for the finest and luxurious caterers, including the designers and house decorators. The ones her mother used to call for.

The head of the event decorator was shocked to see her and they had a brief conversation about everything else.

She did not want to lack behind in any way and so she made sure that everything was perfect and to its great richness..

And somehow, she could not help but think maybe after this...if she could successfully host this party, then he might start easing back with her??

It was just a silly thought in her mind and she was going with it. When she was done dressing for the event, she turned around to head out and greet the guests but then her stature jerked backwards on seeing, a standing Kian by the threshold of the door.

"You look beautiful!"

He said. He had been standing there for a while now, not being able to take his eyes off of her.

When he came back from his office which was still not a big office, like the one he used to have. He had asked Madison to look for a huge plot of land to build his company's first headquarter.

The moment, he stepped inside, today earlier than the other days because of his first fundraising event, he could not believe the kind of nice, and glamorous work, his wife had done to this big lonely mansion.

He made his way straight upstairs to their bedroom and found her in the bathroom, showering, humming her favourite song.

He thought of going in but then they have not been on good terms ever since that incident.

He hardly saw her. Their timing was so different. By the time he arrived home, past midnight, she would be deep asleep and by the time he would go away for work, she would be asleep at that time too.

So they hardly had any encounters. Their sex life had taken a long pause and he would be lying to himself if he said, he did not miss her.

Everything, he would come to bed, late at night, her soft body sleeping beside him would make his hands itch so much to not just flip her to his side and have his way with her.

But it was not like that. Everything was always not that simple. He would be so tired and exhausted by the time, he would reach home that the moment, his body would hit the soft mattress of the bed, he would be out like a light.

It had been like that for a month and a half now. Even though they were husband and wife, they had become a sort of like strangers to each others in these days.

Tinsley had no idea that he had been standing there all alone, for how long? She had no clue.

He walked towards her and she could feel the goosebumps rising up on her body.

When had she had such kind of attention from him??

She thought to herself and the answer was not likeable. He got near her and halted on his steps right before her.

She licked her lips, not knowing what to say to him. She did notice that he was clean and had worn the suit, she had taken out for him for the day.

Kian was hardly controlling himself. He did not want to scare her by jumping on her bones although, in that tight body-hugging red dress, she looked ethereal.

"You did a nice job...and I m...I appreciate it!"

He could never understand how he could stutter in front of her and not before all that board members, where he would give long speeches regarding work.

It always fascinated him how she could make him do things or be something...someone, he never really thought he could ever be.

Tinsley's eyes lit up, the moment she heard those compliments from him. She could not believe her ears when she heard him.

"Really?"

She could not help but ask him that to be sure that she just heard what he had told just now.

He nodded his head and the small bright smile that covered her face right after, was worth it for him to see her like that.

In all these moments, he had almost forgotten the fact, that he had bought a gift for her.

He was passing by the big jewellery store and his eyes fell on this stunning ruby stud diamond set, showcased, that he could not stop himself from buying it for her.

"Thank you!"

Tinsley remarked and he shook his head, putting his right forefinger on her lips, stopping her from speaking any further.

It was then, he took out the set from behind him. He had been holding behind him all these moments.

He had no idea or a damn clue if she would come to love it and wear it just for him, tonight?? But he was hopeful that she would.

When he opened the set box, Tinsley's eyes widened, glancing at the beautiful jewellery set.

"Kian!! This is so breathtaking."

She mumbled out, eyes stuck to the necklace and the small matching flower-shaped earrings, putting her hand on her chest.

It had been so long since she saw one nice piece of jewellery sets like this one. Before her parents died, it was like a usual occasion to buy one of these diamonds or expensive rubies, sapphires or ivories...her mother was a sucker for these expensive stones.

Kian was delighted at her reaction. He took the necklace off of the box and so the earrings, throwing the box away.

"I bought it for you!"

He said, proudly and she looked up into his eyes, not being able to grasp the words from her husband's mouth at the moment.

"Jesus Christ! It must have cost you a fortune!"

The words came out of her mouth all together. It was not the kind of reaction, she would have had before her parents were alive.

Earlier, she did not even bother to know the price before buying the materials for herself. But after everything they had been through, she could not bring herself to accept such a hugely expensive gift.

Not after, when they just fought, a few days back about how he was saving to buy all his stocks back from John.

"You should not have bought this for me! I don't need it!"

She let out, backing away from the jewellery and Kian was quick to hold her steady.

"It did not cost me a fortune!"

He lied and Tinsley raised her eyebrows at him. She knew what pieces were expensive and inexpensive.

"Fuck! Fine! It did cost okay? But I have never given you something valuable to match your upbringing as your husband and now, I can afford things like these again so will you stop complaining about it and be the good wife to wear it with a smile?"

He questioned her in one breathe, not leaving any place for her to argue back. After a moment of silence, not wanting to ruin this situation, Tinsley gave in.

She turned around and he pushed her red hair aside, sticking the necklace around her delicate neck.

It was heavy and she could feel the weight of the stones dangling around her neck. He made her wear the earrings too, after going through a bit of difficulty.

When she flipped around to face him, he was awed at her beauty. The off-shoulder red dress with the necklace and the earrings, her hair tied, she resembled the look of a real to life princess.

"You look so stunning!"

He was at a loss for the right word to describe her. But he could not feel anything after that as she had claimed his lips in hers, wrapping her hands around his collar.

He missed kissing her. He missed how she tasted, how soft and fragile her body felt against his as he held onto her waist tightly, pulling her more closely than ever.

"Fuck!! I want you so bad, you have no idea!"

He groaned out. She could feel his hardness poking at her lower abdomen and it made her feel so needy for her husband's love.

"I need you too!"

She mumbled out, he pulled away after one last kiss before he lost all his resistance.

"After the party, wait for me, wearing nothing but this jewellery!"

He let out and pecked her lips one more time, before leaving her alone, wanting for more.
