Chapter 373 - Causing Trouble

Lisa, Janet and Elly stared at Aria as if they had seen a ghost.

Aria appeared flustered. Her face had a shade of red and she seemed to be trembling in nervousness.

'Who! Who! Who let it out?!!!'

'It has to be him!' Aria realised that there were only her and Max in the room. If it wasn't her, it had to be Max.

But….why would he tell that to them…

'I will kill him!!'

Lisa felt a chill looking at Aria's eyes.

"You can't possibly have done it, right?" Janet asked in daze.

Aria calmed herself down. If she appeared flustered, it would just reveal her weak nature and her impure thoughts.

She hadn't done anything wrong! She only allowed him to treat her wound, what's wrong with that….she couldn't go to hospital and it wouldn't be good to leave it like that….such a situation was common….treating one another was no big deal….

She was aiming high, if she let something like that drag her down, that is, the treatment of a simple wound to cause her some embarrassment….how would she call herself a true elite.

"What's wrong with that? We lived together for a short while….. anyone would be willing to do that much for the other person…" Aria spoke making it seem like it wasn't a big deal. "Besides, isn't that something common for people like us? What's there to be embarrassed about? If I let such small thing to pull me down, then I might regret it one day?" Aria said with a burning spirit. She seemed like a hero who would forge a path for herself with her own two hands.

She was right, for people like her who fought and pursued strength, injuries were common and if you were to be embarrassed about it….that would obviously be a problem.

When Mages went out on missions, injuries were bound to occur and even death was not so uncommon. If you were really expecting to get a hospital and professionally qualified female doctor in the middle of an unknown place….then you were really hopeless.

Aria really was confident in her words. She wanted to be strong and achieve greatness. If she didn't do her best now and failed to meet her family's expectation she would really regret it.

People would have really appreciated the current look on Aria's face and the young ones would look at her admiration. That was how strong the power behind her words were.

Obviously, this was under the context that people understood what she was talking about.

When the people in front of her heard those words, they didn't know what to say.

For people living together anyone would be willing to do so for another person….

Something very common...well it was...but still…

And if she didn't do it, then she might regret it…..

For Aria, they only had a single world for her….

Bold!

Elly stared at Aria as she looked into her eyes as if to trying to find her true thoughts.

'Oh? She is talking about something else…'

It didn't take long before Elly felt her burning spirit. There was only one thing that filled Aria with that, her obsession for strength.

Elly thought of intervening when she realised that these people were not on the same page….but on a second thought…

Why not let them continue?

She was getting bored, it was interesting to see how long it would take them to realize that they were talking about two different things or if they would really talk all the way without realising.

If they really did that, she would obviously clear the misunderstanding.

"Cough!" Lisa coughed and Janet broke out from her daze as she realised it.

They turned silent for a minute before finally speaking.

"So how was it?" Janet finally couldn't hold back her curiosity.

"How would it be? It was painful of course…" Aria replied with a frown. What kind of a stupid question was that? A wound would be painful obviously…

"Uh...I see….what kind of question am I asking. It would be painful obviously…." Janet scratched her head awkwardly.

Aria shook her head. These guys slacked a lot, it seemed she had to beat them up. Pain was something necessary to temper oneself, she wanted them to be prepared for every situation.

"So you don't really have any feeling for him?" Lisa suddenly asked with sparkling eyes. In her eyes, there wasn't another guy like Max in the whole world. But obviously, that didn't mean everybody would jump at him. Love was necessary, what was a relationship without feeling…

"F-Feelings…" Aria fumbled, never in her dreams would she have thought that they would throw out such a question despite knowing her personality.

"Why would I have feelings for that guy?" Aria frowned as she finally regained her calm.

"Umn...you two…" Janet said as she blushed.

"Why are you making such a big deal out of it? He helped me once and that's it, if he needs….I would do the same for him. How can you be embarrassed by something like this?"

"Cough! Cough!"

"What's wrong, Elly? Your face is red… " Aria suddenly turned her head to look at Elly.

"Ah...nothing I am fine. Carry on…." Elly waved her hand. She was really having a hard time controlling her laughter.

This was more fun than she thought…

At the main gates of the Edwinson House...

"Stop...Unauthorized Vehicles are not allowed from this point of time..." The guard asked as he looked at the approaching car.

The car stopped and the driver looked at Max, "Sir, I will be waiting here…"

Max nodded his head as he got out of the car.

"I am here to get the Young Miss…." Max said as he looked at the guard.

The guard obviously knew who Max was talking about. He could even see that the vehicle plate had a Lorenz crest embedded in it.

But, why did the youth appear so familiar to him?

"What's wrong?" The other guard asked him.

"I have seen him somewhere?" The guard replied.

"Isn't our Young Miss friends with the Young Miss from Lorenz House, he might have come here to pick her up before as well…"

"Maybe…." The guard couldn't remember and allowed Max to enter.

Max smiled as he looked at him and entered through the gates. He didn't rush ahead and casually strolled into the place like the whole place belonged to him.

He knew that he couldn't meet his Grandfather, they wouldn't allow him. In that case, he would drag him out….

As for the hate he would receive….he didn't care….

Soon people began to notice him…

"Doesn't he look familiar?"

"Look at him, who is he? He is walking as if the place belongs to him…"

"Its him!!!" Suddenly someone screamed. There were many people who had personally witnessed that battle and he was one of them.

It didn't take long before the words spread around like fire….

"He dares to walk into our place….he is courting death!!"

"Someone inform the Young Lord…this guy will not leave this place today…."

The younger people were burning in rage and it would soon turn chaotic.

….

The Lord's chamber….

The old man had been sitting on his chair as he sighed. He had mobilized every resource he could but still wasn't able to find anything about Zack's disappearance, it was as if the land had swallowed him.

"My Lord…there has been a problem.."

At this time, the old man's butler suddenly appeared like a ghost.

"What is it?"

"Sir Zack's son is here…"

The old man's eyes twitched on hearing that. He still hadn't through about how to bring Max in...

"This kid...."
