"Yichen is here." Sun Xumei commented with a soft smile. Zhao Yichen nodded at them and then turned to Luo Lixi while putting his black cap on the table.

"Uncle, grandpa Luo has told you and Xixi to go to the company at 7 pm. There will be an urgent meeting."

Both Luo Lixi and Luo Baiyun's faces changed when they heard him. After a while, she smiled and turned to Zhao Yichen. 

"Yichen, how is your family? Especially your grandpa?" 

"They are fine." Talking about them, Zhao Yichen's face stiffened. He remembered his mother telling him to get close to Luo Lixi and get her. He tried to ward off the nasty words of her but those refused to go.. 

Because she thought Sheng Ruming was still in the washroom, Luo Lixi didn't dare to spend too much time eating. After stuffing some food in her mouth, she stood up and ran upstairs. 

"Xixi, it's bad manners!" Sun Xumei shouted as she saw Luo Lixi running away hurriedly. The latter waved her hand and left their sight. 

Sun Xumei shook her head dejectedly and turned to Zhao Yichen. She saw he was barely eating anything. Thus, as usual, she took the duty upon herself and put a lot of food on his plate.

Luo Baiyun ignored him as he also left after eating something and went to study to work. Thus, Madam Tang and Sun Xumei got more invested in feeding him

As soon as Luo Lixi entered her bedroom, she squinted her eyes towards the washroom and barged into it yet she didn't expect that the man was gone. 

'Didn't I lock it from outside?! How did he…' Luo Lixi wondered as she closed it and walked towards the bedroom. When she wanted to rest, a thought came inside her mind. 

She picked up the phone and called Sheng Ruming directly. 

"Where are you?" Luo Lixi asked calmly. 

"Going back to Ming city. Some matters came up." The man replied as he stared at the passing scenery. Then with a smile, he inquired, "Did your family say something?"

The man was nervous when he asked that. Luo Lixi became serious and thought something. While clenching the duvet, she whispered, "Not yet. It will take time…"

The man wasn't discouraged by this result. His eyes fell ahead and his smile deepened. "I will wait for the good news."

"Hmm." Luo Lixi replied bashfully as she glanced at the ruby pendant around her neck. 'I have already accepted it all. Just they need to give consent.'

One hour before the meeting, Luo Lixi dressed up and walked down to the first floor. Coincidentally her father was also dressed up in a suit and glanced at her. He smiled softly at the girl dressing up as a mature lady.

'My daughter has grown up.' From the side, her mother smiled bitterly and glanced at. She walked ahead and said while controlling her expression.

"You are going to meet your grandfather and other people after so many years. Be careful of your behaviour and show the utmost respect."

"I know, Ma. Don't worry." Luo Lixi nodded with a smile and turned to her father. "Shall we go now?"

"Hmm." The old man nodded. As he was going to leave, Luo Lixi walked ahead and hooked her arm around his. The man glanced at her, only to see her sheepish grin. 

"I am afraid… if I don't cling to you, nobody will know me. Hehe~" Luo Lixi was embarrassed as she murmured. Luo Baiyun didn't comment and let her cling to him.

At the entrance of the Luo Corporation. 

As soon as Luo Baiyun got out, many people began to greet him and wondered about the identity of the woman who was wearing sunglasses. 

Making her way confidently to the company, Luo Lixi followed her father straight to the office of her grandfather.

The moment they walked in, she froze in her spot. In front of her not only her grandfather was sitting but also her brother and Kong Pipi were present. 

As soon as the latter saw her. She left her seat and stood straight with a soft smile, like a graceful lady, "You must be Luo Lixi."

Looking at the unmoved Luo Lixi, Kong Pipi felt strange. Even then, she reached out for a handshake and explained, "I am Kong Pipi, Lixiang's friend."

"Sister, how was your life abroad?" Luo Lixiang asked as he broke the hug and glanced at Luo Lixi. 

The latter showed a restrained face and nodded, "Pretty good."

Luo Lixiang stared at his sister who felt very distant. He had a vague impression of her since he was young and only knew that she was very serious about her life. 

She didn't even blink when she had to leave home and later, had to go abroad for higher studies. This thing, he could never do. 

Sometimes, Luo Lixiang would become flustered when someone wants to know about his sister from him, not knowing that he didn't have the personal phone number of the woman.

After nodding at them, Luo Lixi stepped back and walked up to the desk. Luo Qintian had already put away the files and was staring at her intensely since the moment she walked in.

"Grandfather, how many times have I told you to stop working? Why don't you give some to others? What if you become sick again?! Don't expect that I will continue to care if you neglect your body so much!"
