"..." Sheng Ruming's lips twisted with an uncertain look, he felt uneasy. With his gaze filled with doubts, he questioned again, "Do you really don't want me to help you? Not even a bit?!"

"No~ not needed~ Sigh~" Luo Lixi murmured as she closed her eyes and again started her blabber in a pitiful voice which was enough to tug at his heartstrings, "Soon, I will turn into an old woman. People will call me grandma. Ruming, my hair will turn grey and skin rough… will you love me then? Hmm? Sigh~..."

"..." Sheng Ruming glanced down at the woman in his embrace and couldn't help but think deeply. He shook his head at the thoughts she built up within her mind, he was amused.

"If your hair turns grey, just use colours to make it black!"

"I won't!"...

For a long time, Sheng Ruming became the perfect mute audience for Luo Lixi. Whatever she had said, he had hummed in agreement even if that didn't make any sense. 

Yet, he couldn't help but smile at her words this time, he indeed had thought about sticking her to his entire life like a leech and never let go.

"Sigh~ nobody can understand me~ I am such a pitiful soul~" Luo Lixi slithered down on Sheng Ruming further. He let out a sigh at her words which were degrading herself and sensed her being insecure, he couldn't just sit tight.

In the end, the man couldn't bear it anymore and gave her another demonstration to let her remember that he was still there, to love her! 

"How could you say such a thing?! I'm here to hear you for all my life yet you…" Sheng Ruming couldn't endure his pain and flicked on her forehead hard, "You're reluctant to marry and on top of that… bad girl!"

"Ouch!... Oh! Stop, Ruming, it hurts!... Acchi! Hacchi!" Luo Lixi tried to protect her forehead from his continuous hard flicker. 

In the end, because of her sneezing, he stopped and only then he remembered, she was still a little sick.

Only when the woman remembered that she had to leave in two hours did she leave Sheng Ruming's embrace reluctantly.

At the airport, Sheng Ruming stared at the airplane which was flying away in the distance. He continued to stare at it until he couldn't see the white line it made in the sky but only the clouds.

How he wished, the weather would remain bad for many days but sadly, it nearly got cleared before half an hour. As if nature was on Luo Lixi's side, helping her in her schedule.

He sighed and was feeling lonely already. The man couldn't stop the feeling of heaviness creeping inside his heart.

Xiao Huang stood beside him with full attention. He didn't know why his boss was still gazing at the distant sky even though they couldn't see the Luo Corporation's super luxurious and private plane anymore. 

"Boss, should we leave now? Look, the weather is turning bad again?" Xiao Huang said while some droplets of rainwater fell on his nicely styled head.

But Sheng Ruming didn't answer and continued to look ahead. His deep unfathomable eyes were covered in the black glasses as he didn't move an inch. 

Under Xiao Huang's command, another bodyguard stepped ahead and opened an umbrella and held it above Sheng Ruming's head, because tiny droplet rain began to fall fr the sky.

Right at this moment, Xiao Huang got a call, successfully breaking the quiet mood, making Sheng Ruming frown. He glanced at the ID and then glanced back at Sheng Ruming. 

"Boss, madam Wei, your mother is calling." In other words, Xiao Huang was asking what to do with it. After all, answering Wei Airan's barrage of questions be like harder than passing the college entrance exam in Xiao Huang's eyes. 

Sheng Ruming turned around and glanced at the caller ID through the layers of his black sunglasses. 

By now, the rain had already started to fall heavily and several umbrellas were opened one after another. Just that there wasn't any thunder or lightning like last night!

"Answer it and put it on speaker." Sheng Ruming swiftly replied as he began to walk back into the airport building from the airplane lane. 

As soon as Xiao Huang did as he said, an angry voice of Wei Airan rang out, "Xiao Huang! Where is Xiao Ming? Why isn't he picking up my call?! Why isn't he allowing Yan Ruomin's bail?!..."

The super angry voice of Wei Airan was enough to ruin Sheng Ruming's whole day. The man, however, didn't let his mother get another chance to shout as he replied instead of Xiao Huang, breaking his mother's chain of angry words, "Ma, it's me. What's the matter?"

"..." Wei Airan instantly stopped shouting. She froze and was at a loss to say anything. 'This, Huang, why did he pass the call to my son? Such ignorance! Sigh!'

After all, she could shout or vent her anger on others without holding back but on her son, she couldn't. Or the results would be severe and devastating, either she couldn't see him for many weeks, even months or years!

"Ah… son, cough! You know the news, right?… Your aunt Su and I have come to the police station to bail out Yan Ruomin but the officers…" Wei Airan murmured and tried to explain everything. Her voice even shook and stuttered amid the explanation.

Xiao Huang smiled bitterly. It was the difference between someone's son Vs someone's employee. Nonetheless, the smile disappeared as he continued to hold the phone just for Sheng Ruming's sake. 

"Huh! Ma, why did you get in other people's mess?! Go back and take some rest in Sheng Villa. I am coming home tonight." Sheng Ruming said as he entered a black Mercedes-Benz parked outside of the airport.

Wei Airan blinked her eyes and then turned towards Su Mengsi who was talking with Yan Ruomin. 

Currently, Yan Ruomin was crying her lung's out, her cries gave the illusion that all the beings in the world were against her.

"Ma, you've to believe me! It's not my fault! Rather, that Lixi's fault! She and her worker were in cahoots as they framed me! Ma!"

Su Mengsi glanced at her daughter through the glass wall and consoled her, "Don't worry. Your Aunt Wei has gone to persuade Sheng Ruming. I am sure the man will definitely give in if Wei Airan coaxes him. My dear Minmin, don't cry! How did you fall in another mess, my little girl?!"

Wei Airan, "..." 

Wei Airan who had been on the phone in silence after his son's straight words kept listening to the mother-daughter consoling and comforting each other, she sighed, not knowing what to do when she had nothing she could do.

Currently, it was 1 pm in Ming city. They didn't even get to enjoy their time when Su Mengsi got the head of news from Chi Bainian. 

Even though the news included matters related to Yan Ruomin and her future daughter in law, Su Mengsi dragged her alongside when she rushed here, in the jail of the police station. 

Wei Airan thought of her son's temperament and then heard Yan Ruomin's cry. She fell into deep thought and was sure that this time, Yan Ruomin had fallen into big trouble. 

Wei Airan sighed and finally replied to him in a low voice, "Fine. Come home early. I will be waiting."

"Hmm." 

"Right! Lixi is in Ming city. Son, bring my daughter in law to our home." Wei Airan whispered. After all, it's good for the family if they could spend some time together. 

"... Unfortunately, she has left." Sheng Ruming's cold voice said. She could feel his heaviness through his words and she couldn't help but chuckle.

"Another time then. Currently, all are busy… Right, son, I won't disturb you anymore! Bye!"

"Hmm." Sheng Ruming replied and then motioned Xiao Huang with his eyes to move the phone away from his eyesight. 

Then he turned to the car driver and instructed in a domineering manner, "Go to the company."

Thus, Sheng Ruming went to his company first hand. Also, Xiao Huang got to see the change in his boss and regretted once again that Luo Lixi had left. 

They already knew the fact that in the presence of Miss Luo, their boss would turn into a Marshmallow while at other times, a cold and domineering freezer!

How they wished Miss Luo would tag along everywhere so that they could avoid this demonic side of their boss.

After reaching the company entrance, Sheng Ruming didn't even wait for the hearty welcome of his employees and shareholders and directly arranged a meeting. 

"Zhou Lei, Chen Shubin, notify all department heads and executives to head to the meeting room in five minutes." An extremely cold voice came out from Sheng Ruming's lips. He wasn't in any kind of mood to celebrate the fact that he got the project in the end. 

Who could associate this man with the clingy man who was persistent when he hugged his woman so intimately some hours ago?!

"Got it, CEO Sheng!" Chen Shubin nodded as he walked away to do it while Zhou Lei followed Sheng Ruming to his CEO'S chamber. 

That day, another fierce battle for the employees and workers of the Sheng Industry and Corporation got started, the mark of a new beginning of hellish life and sleepless night~

They could just wait and see what was to come at them and what kind of orders their CEO would issue~
