Luo Lixi continued to stand there. Only her head was exposed and her body was blocked by the door. She was feeling amused by him and wanted to hear his reasoning for this change in attitude.

Then, Luo Biwun turned back his head. This time, his face became cold as he stared straight at her face and stated clearly, "Let's exchange the room!"

In return, Luo Lixi looked away. Her eyes fixed on the opposite door. Slowly her indifferent voice came out, "Uncle, I am in my bathrobe."

Luo Biwun immediately blocked his eyes and walked to the left side. He faced her with his back and tried to convince her passionately, "Take your things and… go to that suite."

Luo Lixi loved peace and harmony. She didn't want to argue with Luo Biwun anymore. Thus she agreed and warned him, "Uncle, keep standing there. Don't turn around until I say."

"Fine." The old man chuckled gently. Deliberately, he didn't notify her about Sheng Ruming. 

He wanted her to be surprised and confused as well. 

With hurried footsteps, Luo Lixi took her belongings. With cautioned eyes, she glanced around the corridor. After she confirmed that there was no one, she ran to the opposite room in the blink of an eye. 

While closing the door, she yelled at him, "The room key is on top of the dressing table." Right after, she closed the door with a bang.

"Why is it black?" While muttering in confusion, Luo Lixi walked in. Suddenly, a pair of strong arms dragged her into the room. 

"WHO?!" Luo Lixi screamed as she tried to free herself. Right then m, her eyes fell on the inner decoration of the suite.

'Eh? This?!' With complicated eyes, her eyes turned to the back of the man who was still dragging him. 

Realising that all of these must have been witnessed by Luo Biwun, her face heated up. When Luo Lixi saw the bed with white sheets in which red rose flowers made a huge heart, her mind exploded. 

Right then, Sheng Ruming stopped dragging her and released her hand. 

"Oh my God! Did uncle… Ah!" She covered her mouth and exclaimed. 

Sheng Ruming felt awful watching her expression. He stepped towards her and murmured in suppressed embarrassment, "So what if he has watched? I didn't commit a heinous crime. Stop showing such a face! I feel… disgusted."

Luo Lixi dropped the clothes she had brought and glared at him, "Why didn't you tell me that you've come?! Also, these…"

"For you. I wanted to give you a surprise." Sheng Ruming took her right hand and kissed her on the back but she paid no heed to his words. 

Currently, her eyes were busy wandering around. She narrowed her eyes into slits when she realised a thing, 'It seems like a replica of wedding night decoration.'

"For what reason you have done this, it's clear like rainwater!" Luo Lixi mocked Sheng Ruming as she took back her hand. Then, under his watchful eyes, she wiped the back of her hand on her bathrobe.

The man didn't become agitated by her attitude. Rather, his eyes noticed her current appearance and narrowed dangerously, "You have entered the room… in this bathrobe?!"

His mind became blank. Just imagining that some wild men could have seen her like this made him want to rush out and beat the soul out of them. 

Luo Lixi was taken aback by his face which was on the verge of exploding. She lifted her left leg and stepped down on his foot. She didn't stop and slap his arm. 

"Don't change the expression you are making. Go and watch your face in the mirror!" 

Suddenly being demolished like that, the man's anger went down a lot. He tried hard to change his expression. 

Sheng Ruming went to a corner and took out a bouquet of fresh red roses. Then he went back and handed it to her.

The man was shy when Luo Lixi heartily received the flowers and didn't scold him, "Do you like it?"

She raised the heavy bouquet and inhaled sharply. The fresh flowers had a refreshing feeling against her skin and she was fond of this sensation. 

Sheng Ruming eyed her sharply. Even though she didn't reply to him, he was satisfied with her reaction. 

Luo Lixi swept her eyes and thought deeply, 'At least, 999 roses are here.' Just the heavyweight of it made her convinced. 

After a while, she gave it back to him. Sheng Ruming enthusiasm demolished a lot as he inquired with hesitation, "You… don't like these flowers? Should I order a peach blossom bouquet for you?"

Luo Lixi stared at his face which was reflecting the golden hue which came from the candles of the room. She raised her lips and tiptoed while lifting his chin with her forefinger, "Do you want me to carry it all the time?" 

After serious consideration, Sheng Ruming shook his head and threw the heavy bouquet on the spacious bed. 

The man trapped her with his arms and whispered ambiguously, "Forget it. Come, I've arranged candlelight… umm… afternoon snacks for you."

It was the late afternoon so he thought it should be the proper thing to call it. She pushed him away and walked to the table. While pondering something in her mind, she began to see the decoration he had made for her. 

Sheng Ruming walked behind her and again hugged her back. His lips went near her ears as he asked, "What are you thinking? Tell me too." 

Luo Lixi turned her head and glanced at him. Then, she pointed around the room and asked with interest, "Is it your idea or… someone else's?" 

Sheng Ruming pursed his mouth and didn't answer. When she stared at his face for nearly one minute, finally he gave in and answered, "It is Ji Yanli's idea. She has said… to capture a lady's heart, one must give her surprise from time to time and the best thing is to give her gifts and roses."

Luo Lixi turned around and put her forefinger on his nose and tapped it gently, "Oh, from the looks of it, it really seems to be her idea. Here I thought how in the world you've been enlightened?! Heh!" 

"Hey! Now you are mocking me! I was going crazy because you were ignoring me in the past few days and yet… how can you, Lixi?! I didn't think you are such a person!" He caught her off guard and grabbed her finger which had just pinched him. 

Then, under her trembling eyes, he put it in his mouth and bit on the nail. 'The dog has returned!'

"Shameless!" Luo Lixi tried to take back her hand and he did but in the next second, Luo Lixi was thrown on the bed and the heart became the mess. The petals flew in the air and dropped around the bed and floor. 

In the next second, Luo Lixi was forced to cry out in laughter, "Ah, stop it! You pervert! Hahaha!"

She was tickled until her soul left her body. Because the man knew her weak spots, he made use of them.

"You can't choose to ignore me even if the world falls apart or you will die because of laughter!" Sheng Ruming continued to tickle her nonstop. 

Luo Lixi's whole body turned pink and she couldn't stop laughing so hard that her lungs hurt, "Damn you, Ruming! I will… Hahaha! ignore you forever!"

"Say that again!"

"Hahaha…"

Sheng Ruming opened a lid of a dish placed on the table. Luo Lixi blinked as she watched a beautiful ring on the cake. She was speechless for a moment and raised her hand and showed the man her engagement ring, "Isn't it enough?"

"But it was stated on the internet that one should propose to a lady in this way. It looks more romantic and the percentage of the proposal being accepted rises a lot."

Luo Lixi leaned towards him and whispered, "If you dare to give me another ring, believe it or not, someday, I will sell all these rings in front of you!" She harshly blew air on his face. 

By reflex, he closed his eyes and exclaimed, "Disgusting! Owh!" 

Luo Lixi pinched his cheeks and whispered in a dangerous voice, "Say that again!"

"Nothing!"

Abroad, Ji Yanli's apartment.

Currently, on the balcony, Ji Yanli was reading a book with big round glasses on her nose ridge. 

The new swing chair was just bought two days ago and she had already made it her property even though Wang Haixiao had bought it for himself.

The book she was reading with a deep concentration is called '101 ways to get zero figure'. She was engraving every possible note in her consciousness.

But the peaceful morning didn't last long.

Her beautiful phoenix eyes frowned when the damn phone rang and broke her deep thoughts. "Who is this human?!"

She took off her glasses and raised the phone, only to see her father's name on it. Her mind got the signal that this morning, her mood was blind to get ruined.

Nonetheless, she accepted the call and asked in a straight tone like a proper lady of a rich family, "Father, why have you called me? I remember I didn't cause any trouble for you."

From the other side, a growl came out which made her flinch, "You unfilial daughter! Even when you are abroad, you are causing me to lose my mind. My blood pressure is a total mess because of you! Who knows when I will die and you will be pleased!"

His father's angry words came out one after another. Ji Yanli moved the phone away from her sensitive ear and asked in a loud voice, "Nonsense! When did I do something for you to turn crazy?! Don't put groundless accusations on me!"
