Luo Lixi used her best effort and put on a smile. Yet her body struggled to break free from him. Sheng Ruming felt amused watching her smiling stiffly.

"Relax, she is my mother and her personality is easy going." 

"I have noticed."

Sheng Ruming went beside her ear and murmured, teasing her as well, "After marriage, you can be sure that you won't be tormented by your mother-in-law. I will be the one." 

"... Is that so?" Her eyes narrowed as she gave him a pinch on his waist.

"Any doubt?" The man didn't even feel anything because his cloth was thick enough to prevent his skin from getting bullied by her cheeky antics.

"Let's see if you do. I will just ditch you right away." When she failed to crush his smuggy expression, her voice taunted him.

"Dream on. Have you already forgotten… the clauses you have signed for?" 

When she heard about those papers, her footsteps paused but he dragged her with him.

"Heh! Hehe!" 

His hand crawled on his back and ripped her upper area. Luo Lixi felt a shudder on her spine because of his running fingers on her rears. 

"I am telling you… there are people. If you…" 

Sheng Ruming finally became a good man and put his hands around her waist. Even then his smile didn't fade.

Luo Lixi couldn't bear to see his triumphant grin anymore as she felt the need to teach him a lesson!

After she saw that the other people had yet to notice them, she pressed her lips together and tried to stomp on his foot but the man very leisurely moved his legs away.

When Feng Ahnian was looking around casually, her eyes caught the two people coming from afar. She raised her eyes and sneakily saw the exchange between the two people and giggled.

"Airan, it's been so long… Why don't we go back now? What if he has gone to a far place?" Su Mengsi muttered as she checked the time. "It will be too late… "

All the women were wearing formal dresses. Wei Airan turned her head towards Feng Ahnian and then towards the area where the girl was glimpsing at.

As soon as she saw the intimate way the couple were in, her parted lips closed again. 

Even though she was happy about her son, deep down she felt her precious treasure was stolen by Luo Lixi.

Among the group of the ladies, Yan Ruomin turned back and stared at the two people with hatred. 'Why can she get close to Ruming?! The man, he's also too much!'

Su Mengsi saw her daughter's expectant face became pale. When she turned to see Wei Airan's astonished face, however, all she witnessed was a smiling face.

'She has known all along!' It was the first thought that crossed into Su Mengsi's mind.

Even then, she got nearer to Wei Airan and whispered, "Look Airan, I shouldn't say this but I think your son is being taken advantage of by others."

Wei Airan asked in return, "How so?"

"Look at that girl and then notice your son's expression. It's clear that your son is obsessed with her. It will be a piece of cake for the cheap secretary to snatch your son from your side."

Wei Airan's smile froze.  Su Mengsi smiled happily when she saw the crack in Wei Airan's face.

"It's okay if we chose a lady and let him marry. Do you want your daughter-in-law to remain all day in office?!"

Wei Airan stared speechlessly at the woman who was exaggerating the matter. She didn't want her mind to get corrupted, thus she interrupted the other person.

"I got what you are trying to explain. Don't worry. Such a thing, I will place the best interest of my son before everything."

Then her eyes fell on Luo Lixi as she murmured in a strong perspective. 

"My son's wife can only be someone who can stand in the same league as him."

Even though Su Mengsi thought Wei Airan's speech sounded somewhat wrong, she was relieved nonetheless. 

'As long as the parents don't agree, even if he tries, he won't dare to risk everything for a woman.'

Su Mengsi thought that the years of lookout she had kept on the man couldn't make her intuition to be false. 

In her eyes, she only saw the woman beside him as air.

"Ma, are you leaving?" The man came to stand before his mother and asked. He had already noticed the men who were standing at a corner.

Wei Airan nodded and then grabbed his right hand. No matter how much he was reluctant, he had to free Luo Lixi right then.

"We have stayed here for enough. Your father has already sent men to bring us back. We have to go back now."

Then Wei Airan went ahead and whispered, only the three people were able to listen. 

"Will you come with us?" She asked Sheng Ruming but the man shook his head.

Wei Airan was disappointed. Her head turned towards Luo Lixi and smiled, "Girl, why don't you accompany Aunt and come to stay in our Sheng Villa?"

Before Luo Lixi could deny, Sheng Ruming answered on her behalf, 

"She can't. Her grandfather will not like this." 

Wei Airan didn't say anything else and at that time she knew he wouldn't let her go as well.
