"Once we start the fight, focus on paralyzing the enemies with an area of effect spells," Luke said. "I won't be able to stop hundreds of them from dashing toward you guys, so that is the only way to prevent them from getting too close. You two, focus on just stopping those that get too close, don't try to headshot them. You might end up missing and wasting a lot of mana."
After saying the last part to Amanda and Celia, Luke ended up lining up in front of them the numerous mana potions that he found in the dark elves' world thanks to his skeletons. While he could use those himself, it was an investment. Luke was the only one who could sell loot, so he was bound to gain money from the items dropped on the next battle.
When the fortress nearest to them began to tremble, they realized that Richter had started his attack. Even if ambushes were his specialty, it was a bit too much to wait for him to take down an overlord. So, Luke and the others dashed to attack the back of the goblins army.

Those goblins sure were weird, they had a lot of HP, but their other parameters weren't that small either. They even could use spells from different elements. They were also the sturdiest pawns that they had seen thus far. Even though the fight had been going for a while, both sides at least had one thousand monsters left.
The group dashed toward them and then prepared to attack. Naturally, Amanda and Celia were the first ones who had the chance to attack with their long ranger, and they managed to knock down a few dozen of them. Luke hadn't put much faith in their accuracy and power, but they exploded the bellies of the monsters they hit. When he got in range, Luke readied his ax and then used Stinger. The heads of three goblins rolled on the ground in the next moment. While Rina wasn't warned of anything, she still buffed his strength just to be safe.

That was a lot of experience and gold coins… the highest amount Luke had received from ordinary monsters. The difference in level was that high, after all. Thanks to that, the goblins found which direction the enemies were in, but in the end, they found a wall blocking their path. That wall was Luke… when the monsters charged toward him, he put his ax on his back and used Fury Punches. Before several of them could understand what had happened, they fell with their backs on the ground and with their chins broken. Luke focused on hitting their chin, and that completely made their brains shake. They would stay like that for a while, so Luke aimed for others after using Dash. While he could have finished those monsters, he would waste some time and stamina by using Stinger. Meanwhile, he wasn't using much by using Fury punches alone, the reason being the fact that it worked alongside with Stamina Stealer.
Now that they could see Luke dashing from one side to another while punching the goblins with lightning speed, the backline began their attack. While the enemies were confused trying to attack Luke, Electric Arrows began to fall above them. Rachel could use them too, and since they didn't cost that much mana, Danielle assumed that it was the best spell she could use right now. Meanwhile, Shalia and Sylah were freezing the legs of those who were too eager to ignore Luke's attacks.
While his friends were working like that and were above to take a break, Luke found a familiar sword falling on the ground. It didn't belong to one of the enemies, so it was a drop… It was the Frozen Claymore. He didn't hesitate to stop doing everything else he was doing and used Stinger to behead any enemy on his path to get that. Luke smirked when he grabbed the weapon and then used Weapon Augmentation level six.
"Sayonara, motherfuckers." Luke said and then swung his sword upward and toward the enemies.
A massive shockwave of frozen wind flew toward the enemies. It completely destroyed the first lines of enemies while cutting them in pieces. The others far behind didn't suffer the same fate because the frozen wind completely froze them. At least two hundred of the goblins fell from those attacks.
