Chapter 359: The Supreme One

A group of people were rapidly making their way up the Great Snow Mountain.

Right at the front of this party was Lu Qubing, and following closely behind him were the highest-level big shots of the entire Da Alliance.

Just the appearance of one of these people was enough to shock many regions.

However, all of them were silent right now. Even the way they moved showed their effort to create as little disturbance as possible.

After a short while, a figure appeared at the top of the mountain and walked towards them. It was Master Xin Yuan, who had already returned to the Great Snow Mountain to take charge of matters there. He bowed respectfully in Lu Qubing’s way before he said, “Greetings, Chairman.”

“There is no need for formalities, Master Xin Yuan.” Lu Qubing waved his hands dismissively. “You’ve been an old friend for many years, so you can just call me Qubing or Old Lu. It’s more pleasant to hear.”

Master Xin Yuan smiled, but didn’t decline. “Have you come here today for the Supreme One, Qubing?”

“Yes, I have some issues, so I wish to see Mr. Luo.” Lu Qubing’s voice had a slight trace of apprehension. “I wonder if he has the time to meet me now?”

Master Xin Yuan pointed at a mountain peak in the distance and said, “The Supreme One is still in seclusion.”

Lu Qubing hesitated a bit. “It… It has already been six months. How come he’s still in seclusion?”

“You must know that, for people with the Supreme One’s cultivation base, 10 years, let alone six months, last as long as the snap of one’s fingers.”

Then, Master Xin Yuan said with admiration, “The Supreme One hasn’t shown any intention of coming out of his seclusion yet. However, whether our master chooses to meet you or not is not in my hands. I can only suggest that you do not disturb the Supreme One’s cultivation.”

Lu Qubing hesitated for a bit before ultimately nodding.”I apologize, but I shall be troubling the masters of the Great Snow Mountain for a few days.”

Although Master Xin Yuan didn’t like that Lu Qubing had come over to disturb them, Lu Qubing was no ordinary man. Thus, Xin Yuan couldn’t decline. He could only invite Lu Qubing and the others to have some tea and chat inside the hall.

Lu Qubing and Master Xin Yuan talked about the changes of the entire Da Alliance. Regardless of the changes the Da Alliance experienced, the Great Snow Mountain’s status would never be affected.

After all, as long as Luo Yunyang was guarding it, nobody would be able to shake the Great Snow Mountain.

“Is the master’s family doing well?” Xin Yuan asked Lu Qubing as he held a cup of piping hot tea.

Lu Qubing forced a smile. “Very well. The little girl has already angered three teachers into quitting. I reckon that the new one I found won’t last long either.”

Lu Qubing shook his head before he added, “Ever since she entered the ranks of martialists, the little girl has been progressing at lightning speed!”

Master Xin Yuan snickered inwardly. This was the master’s younger sister they were talking about. She would become a martial master in no time.

As he was about to say something, his expression became slightly solemn.

“Invite your entourage to the side hall, Qubing.”

Master Xin Yuan’s words made a few bodyguards near Lu Qubing freeze up. Some of them even placed their hands on the weapons they carried with them.

If Lu Qubing ordered them, they would immediately attack Master Xin Yuan. However, Master Xin Yuan didn’t take this to heart. His expression was as calm as ever.

Naturally, Lu Qubing didn’t believe that Master Xin Yuan would hurt him. Thus, he waved his hands dismissively. “The Flame Emperor and the Eagle King should stay. The rest of you just follow Master Xin Yuan’s instructions and leave for the time being.”

“But your safety…” a loyal bodyguard said.

“Do you still not trust Master Xin Yuan? Don’t make me repeat myself.” Lu Qubing waved his hands once again as he spoke in an unquestionable tone.

His subordinates hesitated a little. However, when they saw Lu Qubing’s staunch expression, they ultimately went into the side hall.

“Perhaps you could now reveal what you wanted to say, Master Xin Yuan?” Lu Qubing asked after his subordinates left.

However, Master Xin Yuan didn’t say anything. Instead, he stood up from his seat and bowed respectfully. “Greetings, Supreme One.”

Lu Qubing froze. He knew that only one person was called the Supreme One on the Great Snow Mountain and the entire Da Alliance.

Many people actually believed that this man could no longer be considered a person. He was more like a god that walked among humans!

Luo Yunyang was there?

As Lu Qubing wondered about this silently, a figure appeared before him. No, a few small specks actually appeared from the void and slowly converged to form a figure.

The figure’s green clothes seemed very natural, yet in Lu Qubing’s eyes, this person appeared hazy.

If Lu Qubing were to describe Luo Yunyang right now, he would say that he looked like a floating supernatural entity that had appeared out of nowhere.

“Greetings, Mr. Luo.” Although Luo Yunyang had been a subordinate of the Rising Dragon Army that had always been nice to Lu Qubing in the past, Lu Qubing had already started to treat Luo Yunyang with a form of reverence.

This reverence wasn’t just a product of Luo Yunyang’s cultivation base. It was also based on Luo Yunyang’s contributions to the Da Alliance.

“You are too polite, Viceroy. If you are this restrained around me, then perhaps you don’t consider me an old friend,” Luo Yunyang said with a beaming smile.

How could Lu Qubing be unwilling to treat Luo Yunyang as an old friend? He knew that he had only accomplished this much because of his relationship with Luo Yunyang.

Unfortunately, a line still had to be drawn. Luo Yunyang was being polite to him because he was amicable. However, if he showed a lack of respect for the Supreme One, then Lu Qubing would not be acting appropriately!

As he thought of this, he asked respectfully, “Does this mean that you have come out of seclusion, Supreme One?” Lu Qubing glanced at Luo Yunyang, feeling warm anticipation in his heart.

Luo Yunyang shook his head and said, “It isn’t time yet for me to come out. I am still in seclusion. What you see now is only a strand of my mind power.”

A strand of his mind power? Lu Qubing couldn’t help but be dumbfounded when he heard this. He would never have imagined that the real-looking Luo Yunyang he was staring at was actually just a strand of mind power.

Luo Yunyang didn’t explain. He just smiled gently. “Do you have something you wish to tell me?”

“The sixth factor has been becoming even thicker, and more and more martialists have been awakening. I was hoping that you can establish a set of martial regulations that these martialists would have to abide by,” said Lu Qubing, his expression becoming slightly more solemn.

As more martialists had been awakening and breaking through, the Da Alliance had been slightly unable to cope.

The number of god-grade powerhouses that had broken through during the past three months was already more than 100. Lu Qubing was under a lot more pressure now. Although the Da Alliance remained the strongest, it had no jurisdiction over these god-grade powerhouses.

Therefore, the first solution Lu Qubing had thought of was approaching Luo Yunyang.

Luo Yunyang nodded his head and said mildly, “Bring over this set of martial regulations and I will sign it.”

Lu Qubing quickly took a few pieces of paper and a pen out of his pockets. However, Luo Yunyang didn’t take the pen.

He had barely glanced at the set of martial regulations before he nodded his head and said, “These martial regulations are extremely good.”

As Luo Yunyang spoke, Lu Qubing saw some large words appear on the back of the martial regulations——”Anyone who disobeys will be sentenced to death!”

Although there were no ink marks on the words, they were etched very clearly on the back of the paper. Luo Yunyang hadn’t signed his name yet. However, when Lu Qubing saw those words, he felt a crushing power pressing on him.

In the blink of an eye, a figure appeared in his heart. It was a figure that stood right at the apex of the world.

“Thank you, Yunyang!” Lu Qubing knew that this was even more effective than Luo Yunyang’s signature. He believed that when these words appeared on the Sky Vision, even the most headstrong god-grade powerhouses would bend their heads.

“Your cultivation techniques are lacking a little. I recently obtained some cultivation techniques. You can have them!” As he spoke, Luo Yunyang tapped Lu Qubing lightly in the middle of his forehead and a set of cultivation techniques appeared in Lu Qubing’s mind.

“It’s the 1,000-Year Green Wood Secret!” Lu Qubing said excitedly when this set of secret arts appeared in his mind.

As the former Viceroy of the Rising Dragon Army, Lu Qubing was still a martialist at heart, so he naturally anticipated reaching the god boundary. However, although his cultivation base had experienced some rather tremendous improvements lately, the god boundary was still like a barrier obstructing him from becoming a god-grade entity.

As he comprehended this set of secret arts, he felt like the large doors to the god boundary were just before his eyes.

Suddenly, a wave of vital energy rushed forth from Lu Qubing’s body. As this wave enveloped him, Lu Qubing felt as though he had become many years younger in an instant.

The bodyguards sitting in the side hall tried to rush over frantically. However, when they stepped into the main hall, they felt like there was a thick iron board before them instead of air.

No matter how they tried to attack or how much effort they made, that wave of energy was like an immovable mountain they couldn’t pass.

Both the Flame Emperor and the Eagle King glanced at Luo Yunyang with bright, burning eyes. The Eagle King rubbed his hands together and said, “Look at me, Yunyang. It’s been so long, but I have yet to become a god-grade entity. That…”

Luo Yunyang’s smile deepened when he saw the Eagle King’s manner. His finger tapped lightly and two sets of cultivation techniques rapidly entered the Eagle King and the Flame Emperor’s minds.

Luo Yunyang had a close relationship with the Eagle King and the Flame Emperor, so the two of them definitely wouldn’t be left out while he was handing out benefits.

However, the Eagle King and the Flame Emperor were still lacking a little base-wise, so even after receiving these techniques, they still needed a period of cultivation in order to become god-grade entities.

Master Xin Yuan didn’t speak. He believed that, as the master of the Great Snow Mountain, Luo Yunyang definitely wouldn’t forget the caretaker of the Great Snow Mountain.

“I have come here to inform the Viceroy about something.” Luo Yunyang gazed at Lu Qubing as he said, “The Blue Rain Empire is about to grant me the title of a Duke. In the future, things will be really different.”
