Sovereign of the Firmaments

Chapter 62 - Improper Dungeon Run

Soon, from the cave, three participants walked making the entire crowd look deep into the cave; however, there were no movements that made them come to the conclusion that no one else is coming out of the dungeon anymore.

'What? Why were there only three participants coming out of the dungeon?'

'What happened to others?'

'Where are Carter, Kyle, Spencer, Tom and others?'

'What happened to Zak and Judah'

.

.

Soon, the entire crowd wondered about the youngsters from their families and guilds.

"Luna"

All of a sudden, one of the middle-aged men rushed towards one of the participants and hurriedly asked, "What happened to Logan?"

"Uncle, he is no more."

Luna's eyes filled with tears as she replied to her uncle and continued saying while pointing at Lucas, "If not for him, I would have died too."

"What?"

Dylan, the current head of the Honorwolf family was shocked at Luna's words and looked at Lucas before saying, "Thank you for saving her, young man. If you need any help, you can come to the Honorwolf."

As soon as he said those words, Dylan gave a small badge that had a wolf face on it. It was the Honorwolf family's insignia.

'However, I got the item we came for. Let's leave from here.'

Luna cleared her tears as she slowly whispered to her uncle who looked at Luna with mixed feelings.

They lost Logan; however, they can save his father which would, in turn, save the whole Honorwolf family.

"Let's leave."

Currently, they were eyed by many and Dylan wanted only one thing and that was to go back to the family to save his brother.

"What's so hurry, acting family head Dylan?"

The weapons pavilion head William stopped Dylan from leaving and behind him, all the family heads and the guild leaders did the same.

"What are you doing, old man William?"

Dylan was fearing something like this would happen from the beginning. So, he took out a talisman before asking the weapons pavilion head.

'Huh?'

Seeing the talisman in Dylan's hands, everyone frowned because they recognized it and felt a little fearful; however, they didn't move.

"Are you sure you want to use it? I heard the summoned wolf will not differentiate between friend and foe."

William was also having a fear; however, they didn't show it on his face as he spoke to Dylan.

"If you are not going to move aside, I will take that chance."

Dylan replied in a serious tone making everyone frown.

"Everyone, let them go. There are still two participants left for us to interrogate."

They watched Dylan grow in front of their eyes and they knew what kind of person Dylan was. So, all of them decided to let Dylan and Luna leave.

"Family head."

Just as the crowd cleared for Dylan, the old man Bernard rushed towards Lucas and Beck before standing in front of them.

"Luna, let's see."

As for Dylan, he didn't bother to look at Lucas because right now, saving his brother is very important. Without his brother, the Honorwolf family is a sitting duck waiting to get slaughtered.

"Uncle...but..."

Luna tried to struggle free from her uncle's hands; however, her uncle is a General knight and she was just an apprentice mage.

"Old man, you better be careful while giving your word the next time."

For the entire time, Lucas was watching the drama and when he saw how quickly Dylan didn't care about him, he felt it was funny.

Just a few moments back, Dylan said that the Honorwolf family would help him with anything and in the next second, he didn't hesitate to abandon Lucas.

Nevertheless, he shouted at Dylan while throwing a space ring at him before saying, "Without the item in this space ring, you can't do what you wanted to do."

Lucas didn't reveal about the gall of the fire snake for the sake of Logan who sacrificed his life for it.

'When did I become so soft?'

Lucas muttered to himself because if it was in the past, he would have yelled about the item loudly and made all the families and guilds stop Dylan from leaving.

Without the real family head, the Honorwolf family will disappear sooner or later.

"Kid, if you tell us who killed my family's young master, I will let you leave."

"If you give me what you got from the dungeon, I will let you leave."

.

.

Soon, Lucas and Beck were covered with many questions as everyone surrounded them.

If not for the old man Bernard, everyone would have jumped at Lucas and Beck.

"Old man Bernar, can you move aside? I will have a talk with them."

Unexpected to everyone's surprise, Lucas asked the old man guarding him to move aside with a calm face.

"But..."

"No buts. I can take care of it."

Before the old man Bernard could say anything, Lucas stopped him from saying anything as he slowly walked forward.

Along with him, the crowd that surrounded him also moved.

"Everyone, I know you want answers. So, I will tell you everything before you decide what you will do."

With a serious look on his face, Lucas looked at the powerful people around him and continued explaining, "This dungeon is not what you think it is. The mages guild didn't explain about it completely."

"Stop it."

"Every dungeon has dangers and the moment someone enters it, they should be ready to die in it."

.

.

Soon, everyone started opposing Lucas; however, Lucas didn't bother about their words as he continued in a loud and serious tone.

"They made the participants kill each other to get a reward."

"They opened an evil portal in the dungeon."

"They gave just one minute to learn a random non-affinity spell to learn."

"So, now tell me, are you still okay with all these things? If so, then you can kill me and take everything on me; however, I hate to say that you will find nothing."

"Also, If you want me to be the witness in front of the adventurer's guild regarding the improper conduct of the dungeon run by the mages guild, I will be more than happy to do it."

Within a short breath, Lucas said all these words making the angry crowd full of powerful knights and mages calm down and made them fall into the thoughts.

Lucas intentionally shrugged as though he had nothing but a broken short sword in his hand.

As soon as he finished his words, Lucas felt many he was being searched with their senses; however, he didn't show any emotion on his face because he stored everything in the system's inventory including the spell scrolls Beck got from the second round.

"The mages guild fell to such a low-level?"

"Since Adventure guild vouched for the mages guild, let's go and talk it with them."

"As for Mages guild, it should have disappeared from the Silverstone town."

"We apologize for our rude behaviour, young man."

"Yes, young man. Since you are such an honest person, my weapons pavilion will give you a 20 percent discount on all your weapon purchases from us."

"You already have the 10 percent discount for my alchemy guild. Now, I will increase it to 15 percent."

"My family's stores will also give a 10 percent discount on all purchases."

.

.

.

Soon, all the powerful guilds and families apologized to Lucas and at the same time gave him some cards with the discount percentage printed on them.

"Thank you for your kind gesture, everyone."

Lucas thanked everyone on the outside; however, deep down, he muttered, 'What a bunch of fools. Even though they look all mighty and powerful on the outside, it is very easy to fool them.'

The thing is, Lucas added a few more things that happened in the dungeon to the things that actually happened in the dungeon making everyone hate the mages guild to the core.

What's more, they even gave him discounted cards.

Most importantly, the weapons pavilion gave a whopping 20 percent discount; however, what William didn't know was that almost all of the youngsters from the weapons pavilion were killed by Lucas.

'Oh my dear Mages guild, let's see how you are going to survive this.'

Soon, Lucas and others left without fighting with anyone.. What's more, he even got a discount for all the stores in the Silverstone town.
