'A rank 3 sword, 8 rank 2 swords. 2000 gold coins and a dozen of rank 2 healing pills. Not a bad loot.'

Looking at the pile of weapons on the ground along with the gold coins and pills in his hands, Lucas felt satisfied.

"You don't mind, if I use your space ring to store these things, right?"

Looking at Luna who just killed the last member of the weapons pavilion, Lucas asked.

Earlier, Luna gave her space ring to Lucas to give the fire snake gall to her family.

"Of course. If you like the space ring, you can even take it."

Luna didn't think much before giving away her valuable space ring to Lucas.

Space ring is a very valuable item and only the top families and guilds have it. Moreover, the space in the space rings was small; however, it is still a very costly item to get.

"Then I will not stand on ceremony and gladly take it."

Even though Lucas didn't need the space ring in reality as he had the system's inventory, he didn't want Luna to get suspicious about his storage.

Moreover, he could give it to his little brother or Bernard.

"What do you want to do now?"

Lucas knew Luna came for the fire snake's gall and now she got it at the cost of her brother. So, he asked her what she wanted to do.

"I don't know. I guess I will just stay here and wait for the dungeon to send me out."

Luna shook her head as she lost a part of herself with the death of her brother and she wasn't sure about what she was going to do.

'I am not going to let you wait here until the dungeon's time is up.'

Since Lucas had to protect Luna until they left the dungeon, he could not leave here and at the same time, he could not stay here because he came for the spells in this dungeon.

"So, how about you follow me? Let's collect some good items and try to kill more of the weapons pavilion's members."

Lucas knew Luna was not interested in any of the spells or items in the dungeon. So, he had to use the weapon pavilion's members to get her to follow him.

"Th..this...I don't want to trouble you."

Luna hesitated a little as she looked at Lucas' eyes which showed no hint of emotions and shook her head.

"There is no trouble in it. I like someone to watch my back during fights."

Lucas almost had no interaction with the girls in his past life. So, he tried his best to convince her; however, still, it was very hard for a girl to be convinced by Lucas with his facial expression.

Actually, Lucas likes to be alone and didn't want a partner; however, for the sake of the Honorwolf family's alliance with the Hellmore family, he was willing to do it.

Luna looked at Lucas for a moment before nodding her head.

'Phew...killing someone is easier than convincing a girl.'

Even though it took him around 10 minutes, Lucas felt that's the hardest thing to do.

"Wait a second. I will store my brother in the space ring."

After saying that, Luna turned to the place where Logan's body was; however, currently there was nothing in that place, making Luna anxious.

"Did you see his body?"

She hurriedly looked at her surroundings; however, other than herself, Lucas and the corpses of the weapons pavilion's members, there was no one else.

So, she could only ask Lucas about it. Unlike Luna, Lucas was not anxious; instead, he frowned because how could a body disappear into thin air?

"Hey...look over there."

However, he pointed at one of the corpses beside them and asked Luna to look.

"But that's not my brother."

Luna shook her head; however, soon, she realized why Lucas asked her to see.

Because the corpses around them started turning into tiny light particles as they disappeared into their air.

"What is happening with those corpses?"

Lucas and Luna had the same thought in their heads as they hurriedly moved away from the nearby corpse.

'Ding,

This is the process of Dungeon absorbing the energy from the dead participants to produce its unique items for its master.

'Oh.'

Lucas was only surprised for a moment because nodding his head and explained the same to Luna.

"So that means, my brother's corpse is absorbed by this dungeon?"

Once again, Luna's face was covered in tears as she fell to the ground.

Even though she knew entering the dungeon is very risky, she had never imagined that there would be nobody to bring back.

"Damn you, Weapons pavilion. As long as I am alive, I will make you suffer."

Luna stopped crying as he wiped her tears before swearing in her heart.

"Let's go."

Lucas didn't say anything because he didn't know what he had to say in the current situation. So, he waited until Luna spoke on her own.

"Hm"

Nodding his head, Lucas walked in the front as Luna followed behind him.

...…

Somewhere in the dungeon.

"Puchi"

A masked assassin killed a young man with his dagger before licking the blood on the blade.

'This stinks of pills just like you.'

That assassin scoffed at the corpse before searching for the valuables on his body.

'Huh? A lesser knight pill?'

The assassin became happy because it was a valuable pill for high-level squires.

'Even though I can't use it, I can exchange this pill with a lesser assassin pill by adding some more gold coins.'

Soon, the assassin became happy because he could finally become a lesser assassin.

Just like Knights and Mages, the assassins follow a separate path with their own ranks. So, he could not use the lesser knight pill but that doesn't mean he could not exchange it for the lesser assassin pill.

'Huh? Someone is here.'

After keeping the lesser knight pill and gold coins, that assassin sensed someone was coming.

'Two targets from the Bulk order. Good.'

The assassin looked at a young man and young woman coming in his direction and revealed an evil smile on his face.

'I will go with the same plan as before.'

As soon as he confirmed that both of them were on his hit list, that assassin became excited as he fell to the ground and acted like a corpse beside his recently killed victim.

"Brother, looks like they both died fighting each other."

The girl said to his brother and hurriedly rushed towards the corpses along with his brother.

"This corpse has nothing on it. What a shame."

They found nothing on the alchemy guild's member and sighed before checking the second body.

"Slash"

"Slash"

Just as they bent to search for the valuables, they saw the body on the ground move as he slashed the daggers in his hands to kill both of them.

They didn't have a single chance to fight back before falling to the ground with shocked looks on their faces.

"Fools."

The assassin stood up to search the two new corpses; however, he once again saw the two participants come in his direction.

'Looks like today is my lucky day.'
