Unlike heaven's challenge stone, the heaven's bane stone that the old minister threw at the barrier didn't pass through the barrier; instead, it hit the invisible barrier and made it appear.

As soon as the black stone hit the barrier, the barrier started melting like ice at a good pace.

"Young man, even though you might have become a Viscount at such a young age; however, you are going to die today."

With an evil smile on his face, the old minister said to Lucas.

The thing is, he didn't know that it was Lucas who got promoted by the heavens a couple of hours back.

Nevertheless, the old man didn't care much because he was going to erase the Silverstone town even if it was a Vsicout or an Earl.

"All generals, get ready. Prepare your weapons and kill everyone."

As for the head of the royal generals, he was serious while looking at Lucas because their king's plan got spoiled because of Lucas and how could he let Lucas off that easily.

'I am going to torture him to my heart's content until King Aston comes back.'

The head of the royal generals silently thought to torture Lucas while ordering the other royal generals to get prepared.

Everyone joined the Crestlance for a reason and now because of Lucas, they could not achieve what they wanted to achieve. So, they were just as angry as King Aston.

So, they nodded their heads and readied themselves while the barrier of the Silverstone town was melting by Heaven's bane stone.

Inside the Barrier,

          The Silverstone town's barrier is getting destroyed by Heaven's bane stone.

          The host will lose all his invincible prowess while the barrier is gone.

          The Silverstone town will be covered by the black mist for 30 minutes. Please survive for the next 30 minutes.

As for Lucas, he was already prepared for such actions from the old man. So, he was not surprised by the destruction of the barrier.

If someone wanted to invade or destroy the Silverstone town, the first step they had to do was destroy the barrier that was protecting the Silverstone town.

However, what Lucas didn't expect was that heaven's bane stone would stop Heavens from watching the Silverstone town for only 30 minutes.

Even though 30 minutes seemed enough for the old minister and the royal generals to destroy the Silverstone town, Lucas felt that they could last for 30 minutes as long as they pushed themselves.

'Should I use that item?'

All of a sudden, Lucas thought of an item that he was storing in his inventory for situations like.

It was an item he bought when the Sovereign store was upgraded to level 2 and he wanted to use it when he encountered the star lynx; however, he was lucky enough to evolve the elemental lynxes who took care of the star lynx and saved him that item.

'However, it can only protect us for five minutes before releasing a huge blast.'

Lucas thought when he should use his trump card as he continued thinking, 'But, that blast will pick only one target and kill him.'

It was a good trump card against the star lynx because there was only one target; however, right now, there were around 100 targets.

          The host is an Earl acknowledged by the Heavens and because of that, the time limit of heaven's bane stone is decreased to 15 minutes.

'What?'

As Lucas was solidifying his plan about using his trump card, he received a system notification that made him pleasantly surprised because he was not expecting it at all.

Moreover, the decrease in the time limit of heaven's bane stone was halved.

'I thought there are no special benefits of becoming an earl. Looks like I was wrong.'

Lucas was a little disappointed with his Earl status; however. After seeing the benefit of his earl rank, he finally nodded his head with satisfaction.

'Since it is only 15 minutes, I will just use it at the start.'

From the beginning, Lucas was planning to use his trump card for the first five minutes because he was hoping that the star lynx would come back after finishing its challenge with King Aston with a victory.

So, it was better for them to stall for some time in the beginning.

          The barrier is completely destroyed. Please survive for 15 minutes.

Soon, the barrier around the Silverstone town was completely melted by heaven's bane stone as Lucas received the system notification.

"Everyone, let's finish it before His Majesty comes back."

Seeing that the barrier was completely destroyed, the old man shouted as he ordered everyone behind him to rush forward.

          The host used the item [Absolute shield]. It will be active for five minutes.

The system informed him about the time and at the same time, it also showed the countdown of the [Absolute shield].

"Huh? What is that?"

With the sudden appearance of a golden barrier around them, Lucas' followers and all the townsmen of the Silverstone town were surprised.

However, since it was something that was taken out by Lucas, they were excited because they could see that it was a barrier that would be protecting them.

As Lucas and the members of the Crestlance family were having their time, King Aston and the star lynx appeared in the open grounds out of nowhere.

King Aston's eyes were bloodshot as he looked at the star lynx while saying, "Your master is so cruel that he was sacrificing your life to save himself. I say just forfeit the challenge, I will let you live."

However, the reply King Aston got from the star lynx was a deep X cut on his chest.

"Damn you…I was trying to be nice to you even though I am very angry. Looks like I don't have to waste my time on you with words."

As soon as King Aston finished his words, he took out a huge sword which was a peak rank 5 grade.
