Sovereign of the Firmaments

Lucas was observing the evolution process of Fire lynx in the endless space, Beck was noticing the changes in her woodland lynx that was soaking in the blood-filled stone furnace and as for the shadow dragon, he went back to his eating.

Time continued to pass in the Guardian Lair as thirty minutes passed by in a flash as Lucas finally opened his eyes as he received a system notification.

'Ding,

          Congratulations to the host for successfully completing the evolution of the fire lynx into raging fire lynx.

'Ding,

          The host is rewarded with a spirit beast egg.

'Huh? A spirit beast egg?'

Lucas was surprised to receive a reward for successfully evolving a lynx for the second time.

Last time, he received a Beast evolution crystal which he was still keeping in his inventory as he was still in a confusion about which spirit beast he should give that beast evolution crystal.

There was another reason why he was still keeping it with him as he wanted to evolve the Slayer lynx which was a special lynx whose evolution path Lucas had already selected.

However, before giving the beast evolution crystal, Lucas would be evolving it with the ingredients he had already prepared.

'Let's see which spirit beast's egg it is.'

With a thought, the information regarding the spirit beast egg in his inventory appeared in front of him.

          Item name:- Spirit beast egg.

          Grade:- Mysterious 

          The energy required to hatch:- (0 / 100 percent)

          Information:- A spirit beast egg that has unknown origins; however, it definitely belongs to a Heavenly spirit beast.

'What?'

Lucas was shocked when he saw the simple information about the egg.

'A heavenly spirit beast can rule an entire firmament and even heavenly knights or heavenly mages can't win against it in a head to head combat. If this belongs to that spirit beast, it will definitely become another heavenly spirit beast as long as it reaches adulthood.'

Lucas felt he was so lucky to get such a spirit beast's egg just for finishing an evolution of the lynx.

'I wonder where the system gets all these items? Is there a hidden space that stores all these items?'

If Lucas had not known that the Sovereign system in his head was a child who knows nothing about its own origins, he would have asked about it.

However, he already knew what kind of reply the system would give, so he didn't bother to ask about it and wondered about the energy required to hatch the egg.

'Let's pour some energy after Ii finish the evolution of the last lynx and create a perfect fighting strategy for tomorrow's fight against the evil spirit beasts.'

Lucas knew that even if he supplied huge amounts of his energy into the egg and hatch it, it would be of no use for tomorrow's fight.

No matter whether it was an egg of heavenly spirit beast or regular spirit beast's egg, the moment it hatched, only a rank 1 spirit beast would come out of it.

So, Lucas decided to check it out after going back to his room as he looked at the fire…no Raging fire lynx that looked very excited about its evolution.

Compared to before, there was no change in its size; however, its fur became a lot redder and emitted a red glint under the luminescence of the light crystals.

Nevertheless, Luca decided to check the information on the Raging fire lynx as he would get a complete understanding of how to use it.

Even though he knew he was going to use it as the main attacker, Lucas wanted to know how much damage it could deal with the enemies.

          Spirit beast name:- Raging fire lynx.

          Strength:- Low-level rank 5

          Skill:- Raging fire (passive), Fire bite, Firewheel, Fire burst, Raging clones….

          Special skill:- Fire gigantizate, a rare skill that can transform the lynx into a 10-meter fire beast that could not differentiate between friend and foe for five minutes. After five minutes, it will go into a deep sleep for one hour.

          Information:- A normal fire lynx that evolved into a Raging fire lynx and it was lucky enough to awaken a special skill that made it into a special lynx.

'What? A special skill?'

Lucas was surprised to see the special and could not help but think, 'Is it my lucky day or what? My lynx has awakened a special skill.'

Even though it was common to awaken new skills and special skills after evolution, why would he not be happy about it? As long as there is something that might help him for tomorrow's fight, he would consider himself lucky and celebrate it.

'Although it lasts for only five minutes, it is enough to take care of a couple of rank 5 evil spirit beasts.'

Lucas clenched his fists and looked at the woodland lynx which was yet to finish its evolution.

"Young Master, your fire lynx had already finished its evolution?"

Beck was completely lost in her thoughts while watching the evolution of her woodlands and only noticed the changes in the fire lynx and understood it had already finished its evolution.

So, she asked Lucas with a surprised look on her face.

"Don't worry, your woodland lynx will wake up in another 15 to 20 minutes."

Lucas knew what Beck was surprised about as he explained, "The longer the evolution time, the stronger they become; however, it is not always true because the spirit beasts might awaken special skills just like our raging fire lynx here."

While saying that, Lucas stroked the smooth fur of the raging fire lynx.

"What?"

Beck was surprised for a moment before saying, "Congratulations, young master. You too, little one."

At the same time, she congratulated the raging fire lynx as he caressed the fur.

"Now, I will move on to the next lynx."

Lucas didn't want to waste any more time as he looked at the black and red striped lynx in front of him and asked, "Are you ready for your evolution, Slayer lynx?"
