At the entrance of the Silverstone town.

"Everyone, you all did well today. You can come back now."

Lucas praised them as he asked them to enter the town.

Except for Beck, everyone was still confused as they still didn't understand a single thing.

They saw the assassins become crazy and they were able to kill them easily; however, just when there were only about seven assassins left, Lucas asked them not to kill any more assassins.

Surprisingly, those seven assassins only became crazier as they fought with an empty air and shouted as though they were winning the battle.

Even though their head was filled with many questions, they were already in a great mood that not a single one of them was injured from the earlier attack. So, they direclty entered the town with great excitement.

That's right!

Everyone that the assassins felt and saw was not real and it was an illusion created by Beck for those assassins including Ghost snake.

That's the reason why he was able to perfectly synchronize with the other assassins and that's what Lucas wanted.

After they came into the town, Lucas gave a brief explanation of why there were assassins around their town.

"Family head, why did you stop us? We could have easily killed those five assassins."

"Roar…yes, master."

After hearing that the assassins wanted to kill Lucas, Reece and the elemental lynxes were angered and wanted to kill even the five assassins that Lucas asked them to leave.

"Don't bother about it. I wanted to let them tell me that the Silverstone town is not to be messed with."

Lucas replied with a slight smile on his face.

Actually, it is only one of the two reasons why he wanted to let the assassins escape and the other reason was, he didn't want the headquarters to suspect Ghost snake for surviving the attack where 1000 assassins had died.

However, by leaving four more assassins in which two of them were the guild masters, Ghost snake would not be suspected.

Moreover, the other assassins think that the only reason why they were still alive was because of the Ghost snake and they would describe everything that they saw in the fight which would only give more plus points for Ghost snake.

'Overall, after today, Ghost Snake will rise in the assassin guild and when the time comes I can make full use of him.'

This was the plan that Lucas devised when he asked Beck to create an illusion for the assassins in which Ghost snake had to become a Hero.

Except for Lucas and Beck, no one knows exactly what had happened. Even Ghost snake didn't know much, other than the fact that he killed none of Lucas' followers or spirit beast.

"It is all thanks to you that my plan was successful. Thank you, Beck''

Lucas knew the reason it became successful and thanked Beck wholeheartedly.

"It is my duty to follow your orders and it is because of your plan, we were able to pull it off."

Beck also knew that Ghost snake was Lucas' loyal follower and what would be the benefits that Lucas could reap with the success of today's plan.

Initially, Beck was shocked with how Lucas could come up with such a crazy plan and even doubted whether it would work or not.

However, after witnessing how easily the plan was executed, she was even happier than Lucas.

"Old man Bernard, since everyone worked hard today. We should give them some rewards, right?"

Looking at the group of people and the spirit beasts in front of him, Lucas said in a voice that was audible to everyone.

The youngsters from the two squads, Surge squad and Lightning squad, replied one by one, making Lucas understand what their problem was.

Lucas shook his head as he called, "Surge squad members since your knight talent is only at Baron grade, take these and increase it to Earl grade."

Lucas gave the talent crystals he bought from [Prodigal son].

"Thank you, family head. We will prove our worth to you and the family."

The youngsters from the Surge squad used to be slaves and even though they still have the slave seals on their bodies, they were eternally grateful to Lucas for the support he was giving them.

As long as they live, their lives belong to the family head Lucas and the Hellmorre family.

This was the only thing in the heads of the youngsters.

If Lucas didn't trust them, then he would have not bothered to support them to the best of his abilities. So, he nodded his head and took out another 12 talent crystals; however, these could upgrade assassin talent to earl grade.

"Everyone from these two squads has good talents. So, I am giving you these 12 earl grade assassin talent crystals. Find someone from the special training group and reward them with these crystals."

Lucas ordered the old man Bernard as he looked at Reece and Porter, before asking, "Did you collect them?"

"Yes, family head."

Porter nodded his head as he gave Lucas a total of 18 storage rings.

In the Barren firmament, storage rings were very limited in supply and only the guild leaders and family heads of powerful families could use them. Since they killed 18 guild masters, there were exactly 18 of them.

"Excellent."

Lucas didn't feel like looting those who wanted to kill him as he checked one storage ring after another in front of those who participated in the earlier fight.
