Sovereign of the Firmaments

A week later,

'How many sovereign points did I gain today?'

Lucas asked the system regarding today's gains from the spirit beast hunting while resting in the wilderness canvas.

'Ding,

        The host killed a 10 rank 5 spirit beast and gained 10000 sovereign points.

'Ding,

        The host killed 100 rank 4 spirit beasts and gained 10000 sovereign points.

'Phew…with these twenty thousand sovereign points, I have 30000 extra sovereign points after deducting the sovereign points required to buy the items from the sovereign shop.'

Looking at the system notifications in front of him, Lucas heaved a sigh of relief.

During those last seven days, Lucas didn't waste any time and used the help of the lynxes that were under his control to lure the other spirit beasts towards him.

Afterwards, he would kill those spirit beasts with his own hands because he didn't get any sovereign points if the spirit beasts were killed by the lynxes.

Nevertheless, Lucas was satisfied with the lynxes as they were perfect in luring rank 4 and rank 5 spirit beasts.

Other than gaining a lot of sovereign points, his knight rank increased from tier 1 to tier 2 general knight during the last seven days. 

Not only that, even his beast tamer rank increased on its own to rank 3 after his talent was upgraded to earl grade.

However, he didn't form any contract with the spirit beasts because unlike Beck he can only get only two beast slots and he wanted to fill them with rank 6 spirit beasts.

By doing so, he could extract powerful skills from the powerful spirit beasts.

'Even though I need more spirit beasts that doesn't mean I have to waste my beast slots as I  already have enough spirit beasts under my control.'

Thinking of 14 lynxes and his other tamed spirit beasts, Lucas felt it was enough for now.

If others hear Lucas' thoughts, they would fume to death because a beast tame will have only a single primary slot from which he or she could extract random skills of the spirit beasts.

The thing is, Lucas was not comparing himself with them; instead, he was comparing with Beck who was obviously a special beast tamer who gets more and more secondary beast slots as her beast tamer's rank increased.

"Even though I found few ingredients for the lynxes to evolve, that is not enough to evolve them. Still, it is better than nothing."

Lucas thought about the ingredients to evolve the lynxes under his control for a moment before chaning the topic, 'Anyway, tomorrow, I can return to the Silverstone town and wait for those bastards to come.'

How could Lucas forget about the representatives that would be coming to the Silverstone town to take Beck with them? 

It was also because of this, Lucas urged himself to become stronger and control more spirit beasts.

'As of now, I will just buy all the items from the sovereign shop.'

Since Lucas had more than enough sovereign points, he decided to buy all the items from the sovereign shop.

'Ding,

          Sovereign shop (level 2) 

          1) Beast luring potion:- 1000 sovereign points. 

          2) Skill enhancement crystal - 10000 sovereign points.

          3) Universal system fragment - 10000 sovereign points.

          4) Dream communication talisman - 10000 sovereign points. (Bought)

            5) System detecting talisman - 100000 sovereign points.

'Buy all the items. While buying the last item, use the discount coupon.'

Looking at the list of items in front of him, Lucas didn't hesitate to buy them while using the 50 percent on the costilest item in the shop.

'Ding, 

        Deducted 71000 sovereign points from the host's account.

'Ding,

        All items are stored in the host's inventory. Please check them.

'Ding,

        Remaining sovereign points:- 31000.

Soon, a series of system notifications appeared in his head, making Lucas heartache seeing the deducted sovereign points.

'From when did I start worrying about these things? I earned them once and I can do it twice.'

After staying in Lucas' body, Lonewolf' personality started changing greatly which even surprised Lonewolf himself.

However, he didn't think much about it as he started using the items he  just bought from the system one by one.

'Currently, I have no use for Beast luring potion.'

Lucas removed the first item from the list as he took out the second item, 'Skill enhancement crystal'.

'Wait a second. Currently I don't have any use for this skill and I have to store it for future skills.'

Since Lucas was stalling his beast  taming just for the sake of gaining powerful spirit beasts and the powerful skills. So, he stored the skill enhancement back into the inventory.

'Anyway, if I am really in some kind of danger, I can use it to upgrade the skill that can change the tides of my situation at that time.'

With that thought in his head, he eliminated the second item and finally took out the  system fragment along with the other  three system fragments that he got previously.

'Ding,

        The system detected that the host has four system fragments. Do you want to merge them?

Just as Lucas was thinking how to merge all four system fragments in his hands.

'Merge them.'

'Swoosh'

As soon as he said that, the small four fragments in Lucas' hand came together to form a circular coin.

'A coin?'

Lucas didn't know that the system's shape was a coin as he was surprised to see the coin floating in front of him.

'Ding,

        The four system fragments successfully merged together to become a new system.

'Ding,

        However, it was not considered as the system as the soul of the system disappears after it gets destroyed.

'Ding,

        Nevertheless, the host can integrate it with the 'Sovereign system' to gain a new system feature.

As Lucas was surprised to find out the system's appearance, he received a series of system notifications, making him nod his head as he wasn't really planning to give it away to others.

'Ding,

        The Sovereign system has absorbed the soulless system and awakened a new system feature.

'That was soon.'

Lucas was surprised for a moment at how fast his system awakened a new feature and opened the user interface to check it.
