"Who the hell dares to disturb my evolution?"

All of a sudden, a loud voice reverberated in the surroundings; however, Lucas knew that the origin of the voice was none other than the small pond.

At the same time, he also knew that the voice belongs to the spirit beast that he wanted to sacrifice to become a general knight.

In the next moment, a huge rainbow coloured water python came out of the small pond and eyed Lucas before hissing at him.

Its thickness is around an adult's waist size and as for the length, only five meters of its top body was out of the small pond. So, its exact length was hard to gauge.

"That's me."

Lucas pointed at himself and replied with a slight smile on his face.

"You? Are you here to break into the General knight rank? Haha….however, it's a pity that I will eat you to speed up my evolution into the rank 5 to become the rainbow water dragon."

With a glance, the rainbow water python knew why Lucas was looking for it. So, it laughed at Lucas' reason for coming here.

"Now, die."

As soon as it finished his words, it spat a rainbow mist at Lucas. At the same time, without giving Lucas any time to dodge its attack, it even brought its tail out and wrapped it around Lucas.

The thing is, the current rainbow water python was at a critical stage in its evolution and it didn't want to waste much time on Lucas. So, it went all out from the beginning itself.

        All knight skills and techniques lost their effectiveness by 50 percent.

Soon, Lucas received a series of system notifications in his head, giving him quite a scare.

'Thankfully I prepared something beforehand; however, even without that item, I think I can kill it.'

Since the rainbow mist was able to restrict only the Knight profession, Lucas thought he could easily kill it with the skills of other professions.

        The host' blood is mixed with the rainbow mist. You are now poisoned.

'Ding,

          Please take an antidote within 10 seconds; otherwise, you will die.

'As expected, there is poison also.'

Lucas had done his homework on the spirit beast he was going to sacrifice before coming here. So, everything that happened here so far was within estimations.

'Time to check the effectiveness of the Blood pill.'

With a thought, Lucas tossed a dozen blood pills into his mouth and chewed them.

        Removing all the negative effects from the host's body.

Lucas didn't bother about all these system notifications and thought about the second effect of the blood pill.

The rainbow water python finally felt something was amiss when it saw Lucas was standing in his place without showing any signs of falling down or any pained expression on his face.

"You see…I have no time to waste because I need to become stronger soon; otherwise, I would have played with you a little longer."

Lucas cracked his neck while looking at the rainbow water python and said, "It is time for you to die."

As soon as he said those words, Lucas didn't waste any time before using the strongest spell he had on him.

'Infernal Bomb'

Soon, a bomb around the size of one meter in radius appeared above the rainbow water python's head.

'Oh no…I need to escape.'

The peak rank 4 spirit beast felt a huge sense of fear when it saw the infernal bomb condensing above its head.

Without a second thought, it tried to escape back into the small pond.

"Do you think I will let you go that easily?"

Lucas already thought of the possibility that the rainbow water python will escape into the small pond when it senses danger.

Once it enters the small pond, even a higher knight can't do anything to it as it was the rainbow water python's territory.

So, he intentionally waited for the rainbow water python to come out of the small pond before attacking it.

"Let me borrow your tail for a moment."

Without any hesitation, Lucas held the tail of the rainbow water python and pulled it away from the small pond, making it impossible to go back into the small pond.

"Now, taste my advanced spell [Infernal bomb]."

Without wasting any time, he landed his [Infernal Bomb] on the head of the rainbow water python.

'Boom'

A huge explosion occurred which made the surrounding spirit beasts alert as they roared in return.

'I need to move away from here as soon as possible.'

Lucas knew he had attracted the other spirit beasts in the early grounds and needed to finish his work as soon as possible.

'Hiss'

"What? You still alive?"

Lucas was surprised for a moment; however, when he thought that it was a peak rank 4 spirit beast and it was evolving into a dragon, he was no longer surprised.

"Kacha"

In the next second, he saw the heavy injury on its body recover at an incredible speed and at the same time, the missing part on its body from the earlier blast was regenerating at a visible speed.
