'Just the voice is making me this fearful and what if that spirit beast comes out of the portal to attack me?'

Lucas' face was completely covered in sweat as he looked at the portal that was opening on the wall of the cave.

'How can I escape this thing?'

Lucas knew he could not escape this evil spirit beast. So, he only thought of escaping from this cave.

'I need to calm myself to think properly.'

As an experienced assassin, Lucas knew that getting anxious in situations like these would only kill me faster. So, he tried his best to calm himself.

All of a sudden, Lucas thought about something after thinking with his calm mind and asked the system about something.

The portal was yet to open for the heaven ranked evil spirit beast to come out; however, it gave Lucas an option to stay alive.

Since the human was able to assassinate a rank 4 Night Cerberus, the evil spirit beast felt that Lucas was not a bad replacement for the Night Cerberus.

"Me? Accept you as my master?"

After knowing that he could easily escape from the dark cave, Lucas no longer felt any fear as he scoffed at the evil spirit beast's words.

"In this life, I will be a slave for others."

After saying those words, Lucas didn't bother to waste any time with the evil spirit beast as he didn't know what kind of abilities that the evil spirit beast had. So, he ordered the system, 'I want to enter that unexplored dungeon now.'

'Ding,

  Consuming the dungeon ticket in the host's inventory and directly sending him into that dungeon.

After the system replied, the host's body started to disappear from his place.

As Lucas disappeared from the cave, a furious voice resounded in the dark cave as it collapsed the entire cave.

As for the portal, the Heaven ranked evil spirit beast didn't bother to continue opening the portal as it knew once the portal opens, the powerful humans would rush to this place.

As for Lucas, he appeared in a cave-like entrance as he looked at his surroundings.

Lucas knew he was in a dungeon as he was the one who ordered the system to teleport him to the dungeon using the Dungeon ticket he was carrying in the inventory.

Soon, he heard a quiet voice welcoming him into the dungeon and Lucas knew it was none other than the dungeon spirit.

With that thought in mind, Lucas slowly walked in the direction of the only route in front of him.

Just as he walked a few meters, Lucas could hear the groans and moans coming from the distance.

He raised his guard up as he slowly walked forward only to see a couple of corpses walking towards him at a very slow pace.

'I will put them to rest.'

Lucas was not disgusted by the appearance of the zombies as he had seen much worse corpses in his previous life.

Moreover, when he heard the name of the dungeon, Lucas could more or less guess what type of creatures would be inside it. So, he was fast with his dagger as he killed the two walking corpses.

'Ding,

  The host killed two rank 1 undead beings and got nothing.

'So, these are called undead beings.'

Lucas casually nodded his head before looking at the disappearing bodies of the undead beings.

In the dungeon, killing the creatures would not give him any sovereign points as the bodies were absorbed by the dungeon to summon them again.

However, the dungeon would give some special rewards at every stage. So, Lucas focused on finding the mini-bosses of the dungeon first.

'Ugh ugh'

Soon, more and more walking corpses started coming at him, which Lucas killed without any difficulty because they didn't even have the strength of rank 2 spirit beasts.

Just when Lucas was feeling bored with the endless corpses and skeletons surrounding him, Lucas heard a sinister voice and saw a three-meter skeleton that was wearing a tattered robe, chuckling to himself. In his hands, there was a long wooden staff with all kinds of runes and signs.

"Is he a mini-boss of the dungeon?"

Lucas' eyes shone with excitement as he finally found someone stronger.
