Lucas wanted to lure the rank 4 Jade lynx in his direction with the help of the corpses he piled a few meters away from him where Lucas was comfortable in taking out the target.

To speed up the process, Lucas even made the phantom eagle and the blackwind panther make some noises before summoning them back into the beast slots.

Hearing that, the rank 4 Jade Lynx roared back with a furious look in its eyes.

All of a sudden, Lucas used his shadow jump skill to appear behind the rank 4 Jade Lynx and slashed his two daggers at the weakest part that was its neck.

The daggers were unable to separate the head from the body as Jade Lynx had good defence even at its weakest part; however, Lucas was able to cleave more than 10 centimeters into the neck which was enough to insta kill the rank 4 Jade Lynx.

'Damn it…my hands become numb from using my full force.'

Lucas was in awe at the defence of the rank 4 Jade Lynx as he looked at the lying corpse on the ground.

If not for his additional boost in strength and the highest quality rank 3 dagger, Lucas was sure that he would have failed his assassination for sure.

'If I failed in assassinating this spirit beast, then I would have wasted even more time in finding another Jade Lynx or other spirit beasts.'

Lucas felt relieved when he used 'Fiery rage' and 'Thunder knight's fury' before assassinating the rank 4 Jade Lynx.

Just as he was thinking about the consequences of failing, Lucas received a series of system notifications in his head, making him pleasantly surprised because he received an additional reward for killing a rank 4 spirit beast.

Soon, the list of skills appeared in front of Lucas.

Lucas had come prepared for the skills of the Jade Lynx; however, he saw an unusual skill in the list, making him a little curious.

The skill he came here for was [Jade skin] as it would increase the defence of the user by multiple folds depending on the level.

However, the skill [Lynx master] made Lucas raise his brows because there was no information available about that skill in the Silverstone town.

'Wait a second…is it related to why this Jade Lynx has more lynxes under its control?'

Lucas was tempted when he guessed the effects of the skill [Lynx master]; however, at the same time, he was worried whether it was just a useless skill.

'Let it be. I will just take a gamble and go with the skill [Lynx master]. As for the jade skin, I will find another defensive skill.'

When Lucas thought about how he could get more skills from other professions, he felt he could take the gamble on the skill.

If that skill was what he thought it was, then it would be a rare skill he could not find a similar skill that easily.
