Reincarnated as a Dog with System

Chapter 96 - Healing The Injured Part1

[That hits the spot!] Qin Hua licked her lips contently. She could feel her own mana core, hungrily absorbing the energy from the goblin leader's mana core.

She also tried her best to assimilate this with the breathing exercise to make sure that the majority of the energy goes to her core.

A couple of notifications popped up but Qin Hua ignored them. The job wasn't done yet and she didn't dare relax before they were completely out of danger.

She craned her neck and looked around at the herd of green-skinned pests surrounding her.

Growl!

She cocked her head to the side and roared, her roar sending the goblins in a frenzy.

Screee! Screee!

All the minions began to go crazy and started jumping on her left and right, but all Qin Hua had to do was shake her body and the goblins drizzled down like water drops.

Her skill [Fenrir's rage] wore off and her body returned back to the normal proportions, though she was still almost twice the size of a goblin.

Their attacks as well hardly dinged her body, thanks to the boosted strength and defense. Effectively, the goblins were no longer a threat to her irrespective of their numbers.

Qin Hua treated the mess of skinny creatures surrounding her like her own personal training dummies and started practicing her new skills and leveling her old skills.

[Leech Bite]

[Rip]

[Maul]

[Dark Shackles]

[Chaos Ball]

[Dark Arrow]

Awooo! Awooo! Awooooooooooo!

She snapped her canines and went on a full-on rampage, biting and chewing and smashing everything in sight.

The number of goblins started dwindling and experience points rained. The remaining goblins screamed in terror and started dispersing every which way possible, running for their life.

Lu Chen, Guan Ye, and the others as well had somewhat recovered by now.

Having had a chance to catch a breath, they hurriedly rushed downstairs to help Qin Hua but they could only smile at the sight in front of them.

The fight was apparently already over!

All that was in front of them was a happy dog wrecking havoc, shooting fish in a barrel.

Qin Hua turned towards them and grinned, blood and flesh dripping from her mouth. She was giving them a joyful celebratory smile but she looked like a grim death reaper.

Luo Zu staggered and fell back on his butt in fear. However, the others managed to squeeze out a smile in return. She might look like pure evil but they knew that they were only alive right now, thanks to her.

The goblins that were excitedly running towards them earlier were now stumbling and scattering in all directions.

Growl!

Qin Hua gave them another nod and then went back to her hunt or rather her one-sided massacre.

"We should also help 'little white'. Let's stick together as a group and try to take down some of these small clusters of goblins. Otherwise, they might once again gang up together later on."

"We need to cull the numbers down as much as possible. Our survival depends on it. LET'S GO! MOVE!"

With Luo Zu holding Su Yan in the center, everyone stood back to back forming a small circle and quickly acted in a coordinated fashion.

They hunted down as many goblins as they could, pulling down another big chunk of numbers of their end.

However, their damage numbers were nothing compared to the beast girl who was rampaging to her heart's content.

Though she did not transform into a werewolf and test her new skill. Qin Hua decided not to use her shapeshifting just yet, keeping it as a secret card in case any unexpected lurkers in dark popped out.

There was no way that these many goblins hadn't attracted the attention of other dangerous evolved beasts.

On the contrary, their sheer numbers could have also impeded others from coming this way because no one wanted to fight with an entire army.

Irrespectively, she decided that it was best to not go all out and save her resources as much as possible.

Once everyone got into their groove, it didn't take much longer to clean up the area as best as possible.

Soon there weren't any more goblins in sight, well, at least the ones who were alive anyways.

And when the last one fell, they finally stopped and took a deep breath looking around. The scene was truly frightening and mind-bending.

Streets were littered with green corpses. A thick nauseating stench of death hung in the air.

Blood was everywhere and it looked like goblin's blood took a while to clot, so there was even a small stream of blood flowing.

Luo Zu sucked in a big breath of air. He repeatedly thanked himself for making this decision. Otherwise… what would have been his plight…

"We should go and see how the others are doing." Lu Chen gritted his teeth and muttered, as he slit a corpse's neck to remove the mana core from inside it.

All of them immediately remembered the terrifying things that they had seen and how those people were brutally tortured. Just the thought of going closer and checking their condition made them shiver inside.

"Let's go. They need our help. We can come back and collect the mana cores." Lu Chen repeated his words again and everyone nodded, walking along with him, as they headed towards the center of the stadium.

With Qin Hua around, they didn't have to worry about others stealing what belonged to them. So they decided to tend to the injured people first.

After all, what they had undergone was...

The group walked into the stadium and the entire place was in a complete mess and looked destroyed from end to end.

There was no sight of anything alive in the periphery and when they neared the center, they could see the group of people lying around, some of them dead and some barely alive.

However, no one seemed to be moving. They no longer seemed to care if there were even any monsters around. They had simply given up.
