Reborn As A Dragon Girl With A System

Chapter 245 - Discovered?

Kiliffia and Tia quickly walked away after they had heard the two men talking. They knew right away this was the kind of news they were looking for. They did not go far, though, only to a food stall a little ways away from the back alley. They did this to not seem too suspicious, especially since Kiliffia could tell their tail was still around.

"What can I get you, two lovely girls?" A middle aged woman asked as she wiped her hands on her apron.

"Umm, we will take ten meat skewers and the 2 soup specials." Kiliffia answered with a smile.

"Right'O I will have it piping hot for you in a few minutes." The middle aged woman said with a smile as she walked back behind her burners to get things cooking.

Not far from Kiliffia and Tia, standing just out of sight, Wesly was standing there looking at the two girls. The people passing by him were pointing and staring. He was not doing the best of jobs spying on someone. "Wesly, what are you doing?"

Almost jumping out of his skin Wesly turned around to see his captain standing there with a huge grin on his face. He looked over in the direction that Wesly was looking, and his grin grew even wider. "Wipe that grin off your face, captain. It is not what you think."

"Haha. You do not need to hide it from me. I can tell what is going on. Now tell me, is it the blonde one or the brunette? You know what, screw it, come with me." Captain Mel didn't wait for Wesly to protest as he grabbed him by the collar and dragged him along.

In less than a minute, Wesly found himself standing in front of the two girls he was just tailing. "Haha, girls, mind if we join you? You see, my buddy here seems to have taken a liking to the two of you. Me being the friend that I am, figured I would give him a push and push him to introduce himself."

"Captain!" Wesly finally got hits wits about him back, but he sure as hell did not want anything to do with what Captain Mel was saying.

"Now, now. Don't be such a coward. If you do not stand strong, you will not be able to get any girls to like you. So man up and ask the little ladies on a date." Captain Mel gave Wesly a strong pat on the back. He seemed to be fully ignoring the disgusted look on both Kiliffia's and Tia's faces.

"Sorry, we are lesbians." Kiliffia said firmly. Her answer caused the surrounding people to burst out laughing. Wesly, who was now the butt of some joke he never wanted to be part of, was fully embarrassed.

"Bahahahahaha! Now that is one way to get rejected." Captain Mel burst out laughing himself, finding the whole situation very amusing.

Wesly didn't say a word as he turned around and left. He couldn't handle the situation anymore. Captain Mel smiled brightly as he sat down shamelessly at the table. But as he did, his face turned serious as he asked in a low voice only Kiliffia  and Tia could hear: "Now tell me what are two beastkin, who are not slaves, doing in this town?"

Hearing these words both Kiliffia and Tia froze…

---

"Haha! Good! You can now dodge over one thousand arrows at a time. That is great progress, and it has only taken you five months. Not bad. Not bad." Sister Tu was very impressed with Kana's quick progress. In fact, she did not expect Kana to be this quick of a learner.

"Hah! I did it!" Kana yelled out happily. She never thought she would be able to survive such hell like training. During this time, she could not even count how many times she had lost a limb or almost died. If it was not for the amazing healing abilities of Sister Tu, she would not have been able to come this far.

"Yes, not bad at all. Now that you have learned how to dodge correctly, you can now move onto the next step. This, of course, will come after you take a few days' break. During this break, you will learn more of what you will be taught here. But for now, go shower and rest." Sister Tu said.

Kana bowed her head as she said: "Then Master Tu, I will go rest."

"Yes, go, go!" Sister Tu waved her off, unsealing her magic as she did.

Kana walked to the small bamboo hut that they had arranged for her and walked inside. As soon as she did, she took out the water mirror she received from Dean Williams and sent some of her magic into it.

"Miss Kana, is everything okay? It has only been a short time since your last contact." Dean Willams asked. After settling in, Kana had been able to finally contact the Dean to tell him she was okay. Because of this, it allowed everyone else to keep their minds at ease.

"Ahh yeah, it has been almost two years for me…." Kana gave a bitter smile. There was a strange time fluctuation between the two places. Time would move slow and fast, so there was no real way of knowing how many days passed between the two. She only knew that the time in this dungeon was much quicker. At least from her perspective, that is.

"Yes, it is hard to tell time, especially with how warped time is where you are. Is there anything I can do for you?" Dean Williams asked. He had not told Kana about the current circumstances yet. He did not plan to either since he knew Kana was going through a trial right now and if she found out she would try to rush back.

Kana's ears turned red, and she lowered her head slightly and asked: "Umm… Can you contact Creige for me..." Kana had been really wanting to talk to Creige for a while. She only now had time to sit and chat with him for a long time. She already accepted the fact that she was going to be stuck on this floor for a while. How many years would pass before she was done, she did not know. She only knew that she was learning a lot and could not miss out on this chance.

"Handsome Husband? I can. Give me some time… I will personally go to Stone Ham…." Before Dean Williams could finish what he was saying a figure appearing in his office and took pushed him out of the way…

Seeing the handsome face she had missed so much, Kana's eyes began to water up slightly. She reached out and touched the water screen and stroked it tenderly. "Creige..."
