Reborn As A Dragon Girl With A System

Chapter 130 - Kana’s Dragon Form Part One

Kana stood in line at the cafeteria to get herself something to eat. Alongside her was Kiliffia, who was currently drooling at the sight of the roasted meat in front of her. "Two portions, please!"

"Make that four!" Kana's eyes also opened wide when she saw the roasted meat. They were large chunks of meat almost as big as Kana's head. They smelled so good with just the right amount of seasoning that Kana couldn't resist the temptation.

The lizard lady behind the counter stared at the two drooling girls dumbfounded. She had never seen two girls who had such big appetites. Normally, girls their age would be watching their weight. She, of course, did not mind this. Seeing how people were drooling over the food that she was making made her feel very happy, so she even gave extra food per portion.

Kana and Kiliffia sat down and, without restraint, dug into their meal. Onlookers, both male, and female were both in awe at how the two were eating without any manners whatsoever.

"Are they really girls!?"

"I know, how could they eat so much and so barbarically at that!"

"Either way, they are still cute even with all that sauce on their faces."

"Anyone notice the black ring on the horned girl's finger?"

"She is already married!? I wonder what her husband looks like!"

"You guys don't know!? That is the hero of Rural. I heard her husband is so handsome that he could destroy cities with just a single smile."

"As expected of a hero. Being able to grab such a handsome man."

"Hump! I bet she is just a slut that spread her legs to get him."

"You're just jealous because you're fat."

"What does my weight have anything to do with this!?"

"Shut up, fatty! Hating on the hero who saved our country just because you gained a ton of weight. No wonder your fiance left you."

"You know what? Fuck you, skinny bitch!"

And for some reason, a fight between fat and skinny girls broke out in the cafeteria. The guys stood at the side, taking bets on which side was going to win. "This old man bets on Goddess Kana that is eating food over there!"

"Yeah, we bet on her too!"

"Why are they betting on someone who is not even taking part in the fight?"

"Who knows, but her odds of winning are good. I placed a bet on her as well..."

Mr. Lambert appeared out of nowhere and started a trend in the betting pool to bet on Kana instead of the two sides fighting against each other. In the end, after the skinny and fat girls exhausted themselves fighting with no clear winner between the two, however, someone did declare Kana the winner, and everyone who bet on Kana was to receive a large amount of money back. Sadly the person who started the betting pool did not expect to have most of the people betting on one person causing him to end up in a large debt since he could not pay the bets out. But this is a story for another time.

"Burp! Ah! My stomach is filled." Kiliffia let out a satisfied belch as she rubbed her now plump stomach.

"Come on. We should walk some of this off before battle training." Kana said as she stood up.

The two returned their trays and walked out of the cafeteria and towards the arena where the battle training was to take place. When the two arrived, Kana saw many students who were doing their battle training still out in the arena fighting one another. The training was held in a magic array that would keep a person from dying instantly, healing them once their [HP] hit below ten percent. This allowed people to go all out and fight to the best of their abilities.

"Umm… Why do I feel that these people are not really trying..." Kiliffia looked at the young men and women in the arena. Some were horsing around while others just stood there talking to one another. There were only a few who were actually fighting.

"Their teacher doesn't seem too keen on teaching them either, look." Kana pointed to a horse man with a horse head picking his nose as he laid on a bench swishing his tail back and forth, swatting flies.

"What is he even here for if he isn't even going to teach the class!" Kiliffia was mad. She came to this academy in order to learn more and hone her battle skills so she could take them and make use of them in the real world. Out of all the classes that were mandatory, this class here was the one class she was looking forward to the most!

"If he ends up being our teacher, I will complain. From the looks of his clothes, I think he is a noble. He may have come in through the back door." Kana could see how expensive the horse man's clothes seemed to be. But just because you were a noble did not mean you could slack on your job, after watching for a few minutes and seeing that the horse man did not plan to move. Kana started to get a little irritated. Dean William was a good man, and for the amount of money it took to pay a teacher to teach here, it did not seem right for this horse man not to do his job. "Let's go ask him why he isn't teaching..."

Although she was annoyed, Kana did not want to make a decision by what was going on instead, she would ask what he was doing and why he was not teaching before deciding on if she should report this teacher. Kana and Kiliffia walked up to the horse man who had his hands behind his head and eyes closed as if peacefully taking a nap. "Sir, can I ask why you are not teaching your students? Do you not think it would be better to keep an eye on them and give them pointers?"

The horse man snorted and didn't even open his eyes as he yelled out: "Who the hell are you to tell me how to do my job. Fuck off!"
